A light rain had fallen, and it showed in landscape. Small, short-lived, wather loving plants sprung up quickly to live out their short lives, thriving on the small dusting of water that barely managed to stay on the ground.

Nabihi didn't like the rain.

Oh, she appreciated it, afterall it tended to make the prey more abundant, and she enjoyed a drink now and then, but when the rain was actualy falling she was a bit miserable. One could say she enjoyed after the rains, rather then the actual precipitation.

She had found an area under a large rock that managed to stay dry, allowing her to rest where it wasn't damp.

She should really muster up the will to go catch something to eat, but everything was just so pretty that she didn't want to disturb it.

Besides, she'd get her paws wet.

Kilima liked the rain. She appreciated the fact that it watered the plants, kept her fur clean, and made the prey taste good. She swished her grey tail, feeling the water drenching her fur. It was relaxing in a way.

She was disappointed when it ended.

She trudged her paws through the after-sludge the rain created, feeling the mud squish between her toes. A good feeling.

Inhaling she caught the scents of freshness. Another good feeling. But there was somthing she couldn't quite put her paw on...

Nabihi stretched slowly, spreading her toes slighty and yawning. This kind of laziness wouldn't do. Since it was cool enough for her to move around during the day she should take advantage of it. Especialy since it happened so infrequently. Heck, she might even be able to get a longer sprint in.

Standing up quicly, long limbs making her looks more ackward then she was, the lavender cheetah studdied the surroundings, using her ears and nose more then her eyes. This was or that way, it depended on the prey, she supposed. Halfway through a long breath she caught the scent of something that might not have been too pleasant.

A hyena? Only one from what she could tell. That was good, Nabihi didn't really want any trouble...

Muscles taught, Kilima slowly roamed her gaze over the ground. She couldn't see anything, but that didn't mean it wasn't there. She inhaled again, trying to catch that scent. It was some sort of cat, she could tell that for sure. Her paws tensed and relaxed, then tensed again. Ears pricked forwards, she slowly began walking in a large circle, trying to get a better bearing of where the scent was coming from.
