The pitter-patter of rain drops seemed too loud in Starla's ears as they clattered upon the leaves overhead. Her whole body stood ridgid, her black, gold, and white coat stretched over tought muscles. Ever drop seemed too loud, ever breeze too chilled, and every second more like a torturous hour. Her nerves were starting to wear thin and her white ears pressed against her skull. Violet orbs flashed in hosility and fright as a silent snarl was offerd to the weather. It seemed her fear of water refused to leave her alone...instead fate mocked her.
She kept her rump pressed against the trunk of a huge oak tree, staying as far under the blanket of branches as possible. The less that vile liquid touched her the better. But there would be no rest for her while the sky cried. Not even a second's worth.

*Dancing… the copper and brown coated male was dancing within the rains, welcoming it as he moved himself in circles. His tail whipped from side in excitement as droplets of rain laced along his fur, until he was a solid shade of dark drown. He loved the rains, and he loved the feeling he got when he became drenched in water. Golden eyes softly narrowed as he panted and slowly came to a stop; though he still wagged his tail he was a bit tired from all of his moving about.
Slowly he turned around and looked for a place to gain shelter from, until the rains passed. Cold water slowly formed along his nose as he moved, and droplets of water dripped off of his form and hit the water glazed ground as he moved. Mud softly coated his paws now and without any thought he started to move a bit faster; padding onward, looking for any from of shade or shelter from the rain.
He stopped short though… at the sight of another wolf. He was not sure about how to approach a matter like this. She seemed to be using a near by tree to stay dry… and he was looking for a dry spot too, would she fight him off?
He assumed it would be best to just try and see… he couldn’t read minds, after all.
Slowly he moved himself closer and as he padded onward his tail curled along his back side and his ears pushed down in defense. If she did become aggressive… he could always find some where else to stay, he didn’t mind the rain after all.*

Starla was not normally the oblivious type. But when it came to being caught in the rain or snow she teatered on the brink of madness. Nothing else could hold her frantic, tramatized gaze but the water and just exactly how close it was too her. So even as he approuched she didn't look at him. Her gaze was turned upward with sharp, angry eyes on the rain. Her body shuddered and twitched with adrenalin and nervousness. Her tail clung to her belly as she remained where she was with stiff legs. And while she didn't see him now...it was obvious she was unstable and her reactions could not be predicted. Whether or not the male wolf decided to risk a retaliation was completely up to him.

*With a low head the male moved a bit closer; he was not looking for a fight… he simply wanted to get out of the rain. With a soft sigh he padded himself along side the tree and sat away from the female. He did his best not the gaze at her, he could tell she was… angered. His golden ors softly narrowed as he slowly started to lick at his muddy paws.*
