But if they're legit, I'll be mad. Mine were $50 each.

Oh dear! They're retail is just $30 each! And Rightstuf was advertising at AX, so I doubt that they are bootleg... I hope they aren't bootleg. I'm gonna want my money back if they're bootleg!

See, I'm from Canada, where anime is as rare as... well, something rare, and the DVDs cost $50.
And they may cost about $30 in the US, but that equals about $50 CDN anyways. I found that out at Otakon. crying

Yeah, I used to order from Rightstuf some years ago (back when anime was really REALLY rare where I live). They don't carry bootlegs at all. sweatdrop
Soreyle, I can relate with the prices since I'm in Toronto. I usually just rent my anime now or get them on sale for $10 in my local comic shop. xp

$10... crying You're a lucky girl.
So, if I bought 10 Saiyuki DVDs at $50 (+ 15% HST stressed = $57.50), that's $575. Plus the two boxsets, which were $69 each, with tax.
Adding that up... 575 + (2)(69) = $713 for my Saiyuki DVDs. gonk

Like I said at Otakon, Lena...
You're crazy.
I love anime, and I LOVE Saiyuki... but that's insanity.

eek Wow! That's a lot for DVDs! That's why I usually stick to manga. Its a lot cheaper, and more portable. ^^0 And with me paycheck only being $80 a month, and paying off a few debts, I'm very cheap.

*starts dancing like a mad-woman.* I heart GameStop! All of their new anime dvds were 50% off! And to top that, they already only cost $25! So now I only need dvd 1 and 12. *dances some more.*

Lucky.... Although Rightstuf messed up, so now I have DVD one too. But.... I have to let my bank account recover for a few months, I did spend $150ish on Saiyuki alone. And I only get $80 every month. ^^0
