i got 50 gold for my first post today, and have been getting 20 for each since eek
that would be great if it was just me! but if gold earning has increased dramatically, MP prices are going to go through the roof sweatdrop

Aw, NOTHING is going to bring prices down. xp
This last mess was supposed to help that, & it just made the Marketplace downright cutthroat.
I used to be able to get good deals there, now there's so much speculation going on a good deal is snapped up in seconds & thrown back out on the Market at an inflated price within another 5 minutes! Doesn't anybody buy anything because they actually WANT it anymore? gonk

Everyone just wants to be gready and get it quick. No one wants to work for it anymore.
Poppy, I too am getting at least 17+ gold per post. I've even polled in about 80 polls or so and posted in each one. This could be good to get my anklets for my main yet.

We shall just have to wait and see i suppose, and enjoy more earnings in the meantime, it might not help for anyone's quests, but it will certainly make aquiring store items far easier 3nodding

I noticed the new gold count when I started posting. Not sure yet what effect it's having overall, because I wasn't really sure what the effect of the previous system was - apart from the "no more 10g per poll" thingie. So, are we getting more for polls, as well, now? I'd got out of the habit of doing them (in bulk xd ), since there didn't seem much point. One way to find out, I suppose *goes off to wake up a mule* wink

i'm not so sure about his new new system now, i WAS getting a LOAD of gold, on thursday night anyway, between 7 and 14 per poll, plus 16 to 26 per post!
but it only lasted for that evening confused now it tails off pretty fast, jelly's been posting today, and not been getting much once she was past the first few high amounts and for her last post she got nothing! so i hastily switched accounts neutral

Yes, I've noticed that, too, now. When they first changed it, I was getting huge amounts - now it seems just like before (i.e. the first new system). Oh, well, gold's gold, even little bits of it. I wish I understood what they'd done, though. xp

What annoys are the people who go around preaching it's about talking to each other & stuff. That's all well & good but there's this little thing called TIME ZONES & JOBS, you know? Plus, why should people suffer for enjoying different aspects of Gaia? Like a lot of people I came here because of the avatars, I had no idea what you did on here until I joined. X)

well sure it's about chatting. i've got no time for the people who are complaining because they can't arena/pollwhore anymore.
but like everyone, once you've been on the site a while you find items that you'd love to have, and if you're earning bugger all for posting they become even more unattainable confused
do you know that some people actually sell Gaia gold on ebay! i've never heard anything so rediculous, i know i donate evey month but that donation keeps the site running, to pay a complete stranger actual cash for pixels, crazy!

there are people who do that 3nodding not only on gaia 3nodding
same happens with for example Diablo 2 [items] , and World Of Warcraft [gold and items] and many many other..
