((This is a thread for the members of Hige and Loki's sea-side pack. Nikui, and everyone in the pack may reply here. This is within pack territory.))
Another amused noise, this one a rumble deeply seeded in the alpha's throat. He glanced back at Yang with his left eye to see that he was settled in place. Hige had only seen them briefly on two or three ocassions but he loved his adoptive siblings quite dearly. He loved his job of being a big brother, and even younger brother to Yero, whom he'd had the pleasure of getting to know better before the move.
The other presence still bothered him but Hige was determined to keep his guard up simply. He craned his neck as well as he could without disturbing Yang, and howled to the rest of the pack. 'I'm brining in friends, but be alert,'
As the pack's alpha male he took it as his responsibility to protect his pack, and it was difficult to let the potential threat go so easily, but he was confident that if the need so arose he would be able to fend off one or two wolves on his own... Besides, if worse came to worse there WAS the rest of the pack, and Selia was capable of holding her own too as he'd seen as a pup already.
Hige led them in on the east-most part of the land, following the river which lay dormant on the other side of the trees. He'd keep his ears and nose open for them being tailed while making small talk with Selia, Yang riding comfortably on his shoulders. "I met another from Haku's pack, a few moons ago, or at least the relative of one... There are some new faces in the woods, more than I ever remember there being as a kid."
Kirai wandered the shores of the nearby river...head high, tail high...as if she was alpha of this area. A wicked grin had spread over her lips...she was large for her age. Being raised by humans and her father had really helped her gain strength--working her and such ways that they had. She was a proud wolf, and wouldn't allow anyone to get in her way. She'd shift a bit on her large paws, and look down into the water...the sign showing clearly on her chest...the 'Japanese' symbol..or so her father had put it. It was from the Human's...humans. Two leggers. She chuckled to herself--before she glanced up in time to see movement. Hm. Her tail swayed sarcastically, and she trotted in the direction of the other presence.
Loki had been fishing. Bones lay around her and a smirk lay across her maw. She stay alert, scenting an unfamiliar wolf, but Hige had given an alert that he was bringing others in.. maybe this was one of them. "Hnnnn... " She grunted as she got to her feet, ready for possible confrontation, tail and head high.

((Yes...I do live...sorta...kinda))
Balan lifted his head to the brease...there was an unfamilar sent on the wind...but....never the less...it smelled pleasing to him...despite the lack of familiarity...female...He stired and emerged from his den curious...
Had Hige perhaps brought someone new to the pack lands?

Glancing up in time to see the female that must have been hunting out her lunch around here, she kept her head high...tail asway behind her in clear disrespect to those that may be closer. But, alas, the female before her may think she was merely scouting the area...from Loki's composure, she suspected she was high in the rankings of this pack...though, she was safe, for now. Thanks to that Alpha and her pup..many of this pack would think she was with them, therefore she was safe till her cover broke...she'd have enough time to scout out what she wanted, and have no more trouble...she had to get back and get her brother, anyway.

Balan crested the hill...his tail brushing against the backs of his legs to show his position to beta. His ears perked forward at the sight of Loki...and....someone new.

A snuffle was given to the ground, before she caught a flash of white-ish coloration. Glancing up in the direction of Balan, she held her head high once more...though her tail low. This one--high in rank as well. The female not too far off...maybe alpha? Hmm.
Smirking in his direction, wicked in it's own way, she'd turn tail and begin to wander off...away from them. Though, at a slow pace...as if inviting one of them to follow her. She was a cocky wolf, and took heavy pride in what she was...and what she could do.

Balan's ears perked...he glanced at Loki and back to the stange female.... "Do you...know her?" He starts to ask.... "Are you with Hige!?" He calls after her...taking a few hesitant steps after her.

Sway in her step...then she laughed aloud, mocking him slightly. "I follow no one," she yelled back to him, despite the fact that the alpha female was so close to them..they could send off a signal that she's not meant to be here...but she had a feeling this male wasn't looking for a fight.

He blinks mismatched eyes his ears flicking back in confusion... "I'll talk to her Loki...she smells nice...Im going to talk to her.
He follows curiously "If you follow no one...why are you here?" He calls "This is pack land...and not your own....you could have run into a more hostile wolf.."

Hearing him follow after her, she shook her head a bit...Hopefully he didn't want any confrontation, either. "Why does it concern you?" She murmured, her tone was quiet but firm...not harsh, but still had an edge to it.
"I believe I can defend myself if needed, but thank you for your concern." It was as if she was mocking him, continuing on with her steady pace while he followed along behind her, she presumed.

"Mmm...do you mean to say that I may kill? Or is it that you're worried for -my- safety?" Her tone had softened a bit, though she still seemed cocky and untrusting of him...greatly, I might add. She wasn't one to trust. Not at all.
