"--In tha Paaaaark...!" Vidya was grinning as she sang to a song she made up as she went. The tale had one hand grasping that of her elder sister, Mieke, and the other was clasping Adonis' hand. Oh yes...going to the park with friends and family, and singing a song...life was just perfect.
Mieke giggled, swinging both her and Vidya's arms merely because it was fun to her. Ooh...she couldn't wait to do this with her own fawn! Absently, she moved her free hand to pat her still rather small belly.
A sudden squeal came from Vidya as she caught sight of the monkey bars, of course startling Mieke. Dropping Mieke's hand, she danced around the doe and grabbed one of Lance's hands, tugging Adonis along with her.
"We're HERE!" She squeaked happily, pulling her brother and friend towards the park so they could play already! Geez, the walk was way too long...now was the time for some fun!

Lance had been feeling surprisingly glum again as of late, but he felt that maybe, just maybe getting outside would have an effect to cheer him up.
He had walked several steps behind Mieke, Adonis and Vidya for quite awhile, only to have himself dragged forward, and towards the monkey bars. He yelped in surprise as he was pulled along, and blinked, his red eyes gazing towards Vidya, and at her enthusiasm.
How did she always manage to be so damn cheerful?
Well. Maybe it would wear off on him..
Maybe.

Adonis squealed softly at the end of every lyric Vidya made up, just lending his voice to the sounds of the song instead of singing it. His sister was so much fun, after all! He had mainly hopped to the park, partially because he enjoyed stamping on things, but partially simply because his feet lent an uneven percussion to his sister's melody. Thusly when he was pulled away from Mieke, he almost tumbled over his own feet, looking up at the doe when he was pulled away with a look that seemed just a little.. worried.
He wasn't being bad by letting Vidya take him away from Mieke, right? Right!?
He looked up as they neared the monkey bars, staring at the contraption in wide eyed confusion.
What in the world were they supposed to do with that?! More importantly.. would it mess up his hair? MORE importantly.. would Mieke still think he was a good boy if he played in them?!
These prevalent thoughts went through the toddlers innocent mind as he stared up at the playground. After all, these were the most important things in life.
Right now.

Tybalt had been coming to the park often since his encounter with Linneas. It was quiet there, usually, and he took any excuse possible to distance himself from his own household full of people and pets. The younger kids that also frequented the park often bothered him, with their shrieking, and pointing, and attempts to grab his feathers. He had gotten tired of their mother's complaints when he smacked them in retribution for the latter, and so had taken to climbing up and perching in the large tree that graced the middle of the park. It wasn't exactly a tree made for climbing, but Tybalt's claws made it easy for him. It was his spot, and his alone, and he reveled in that knowledge.
He had been in the midst of some daydream or another when a familiar voice caught his ear. His wings perked, outwardly displaying his hope that the voice belonged to who he thought it did, and he smiled as a glance through the tree's branches confirmed his suspicions. "Oi, Viddy!" he yelled from the tree, worming his way to an open spot before leaping into the open air. His wings unfurled and he glided towards the very play structure the three younger Tales were heading for. With a rustle of feathers and an elegant upward swoop, his talons caught the metal bars, and he stood atop it, a rare smile upon his face. It only widened as he caught sight of Donny, and didn't falter as he spotted Lance.

Vidya blinked her white eyes upon hearing her name, and she visibly brightened once she recognized the voice, even if it was a tad bit different...there was no mistaking the voice of her Captain! She instantly looked around for him, and finding nothing, her expression lapsed into that of confusion. Maybe...maybe she was going crazy?! Oh no, thats bad!
"Viddy thought she hear'd Cap---Oh!" She cut herself off, seeing a flash of red out of the corner of her eye. Her side wings perking as she brightened once more, she turned towards Tybalt, her eyes now wide with awe. He was so much bigger now! He grew! Vidya also assumed he was now more than just a little taller than she; but then again, he was standing on the monkey bars...so quite possibly her assumption could be wrong.
Just maybe.
"Oh YAY! Cap'n! Hello, Hiya!" She laughed happily, letting go of her captive's hands before toddling over to the monkey bars on her own, fully intending to climb the entire thing to just hug him. Oh...and probably to compare height.
Mieke caught the strange looks Adonis was giving as he wondered what would make him a good boy, and what would make him a bad one. Shes told him to be good to get ice cream, and she also said if he was bad, she'd put the child collar on him...that same collar Nio had given her while Enoh wasn't looking. Her adoptive father was crazily paranoid about this one for sure. Lets just hope his paranoia wouldn't spread to Vidya as well. THAT would be scary...considering the sea monster is a pirate.
The doe made shooing motions with her hands, trying to silently tell him that he could play and have fun.

Lance's eyes darkened as his gaze fell upon Tybalt. Well. The bloody pirate had definately grown, and this strongly irritated Lance.
"M'going for a walk," he said, and before anyone could stop him, he turned to the left, and began walking towards the swingset.
He wasn't in the mood to deal with Tybalt. He hardly knew Adonis, and wasn't sure who's side the angelic being would be on.
"It's not about whose side," he told himself, his tail dragging behind him, his sword held just above the ground.
Always respect your weapon...

Donny looked from Mieke, to the monkey bars, to Vidya, to Mieke, to the monkey bars..
And once the screws had finished churning in his mind he let out a happy little squeal and grabbed onto one of the bars, struggling with all his might to try and climb it.
He didn't get too far.
"Umph!" He cried out, as his wings made him lean back and he fell off the two rungs he'd managed to climb up, and landed on his rear on the ground. Honestly, why did they have to be so heavy! Well, try and try again.
"Umph!" He wasn't doing too well, and that was unacceptable! Cap'n Tybalt was at the top of this contraption, and how was he supposed to say hello if he couldn't make it up two darn bars!
"Umph!" He cried out one last time, and remained with his rear in the sand, looking as if he was going to cry any minute. Then.. an idea struck!
What was wrong with him?! He could FLY.
His mighty wings gave a hard flap, and while it got sand all in his face, it sufficed to begin the ascent up to the top of the monkey bars to go say hi to Cap'n Tybalt.
How he would manage to stay up there once he landed.. would be another story.

Tybalt's wings flared and stretched for balance as he began walking across the top of the monkey bars, intending to meet Vidya halfway. It had been quite awhile since he had seen his first mate, and he was eager to show off the effects of his growth. He crouched as he reached the first bar, reaching his arms down to help Viddy up--
--and narrowly missed getting knocked off the bars as Adonis shot upwards. He couldn't fault the boy, not really--after all, what was the point of having wings if they didn't benefit you? He tilted his head upwards, calling to the youngest Tale, "'Ey t'you too, Donny!"

Vidya blinked in the sunlight, seeing her Captain move closer to her. Was he going to help her up...? Oh no...she was not about to accept help so easily! He'd grown bigger, so it only made sense for her to try and do the same. She IS his first mate, you know. Her white eyes narrowing in determination, she pulled herself upwards, grabbing the second bar and placing her feet on the first.
She grinned to herself. One down, only about a billion to go! Pushing herself onto her tip toes on the first bar, she managed to grasp the third bar, letting herself dangle from that for a second before lifting her feet up one at a time to rest on the second bar. Oh yeah, she was getting good at this! A few more and she'd be closer to the top! Good thing she braided her hair today...or this would've been HARD. Vidya pulled herself up another three bars before she stopped to question herself.
Wait a minute. Why was she up here again? Oh yeah! She was going to hug Tybalt! Blinking again, she looked around, trying to see where he'd gone to...oh, there he is! Pretty much below her now. Giggling, she shuffled along the set of bars she was standing on until she was completely behind him....and of course jumping onto his back as lightly as she could, wrapping her small arms around his neck, and clinging to his sides with her knees. Whoo, pounce on the Captain! What a fun game. She fell into another fit of giggles.
"Gottcha Cap'n!"
Mieke leaned her head to the side, watching the brother and sister duo practically attack the child that was most obviously Tybalt. Even before Vidya announced that the boy was a "Captain", the doe could guess who he was by merely recalling Vidya's rather detailed description of him. Even though he'd grown...Vidya's descriptions were very, very accurate.
However...there was one child missing. Panicking, she frantically looked around for the third boy, spotting him on the swingset. He looked so...out of the loop, she supposed. Glancing back at the trio on the monkey bars (and boy were the playing children a bunch of monkies...), she wandered over towards the swingset, taking the swing next to Lance as her own. Wrapping her arms around the chains that held the swings, she eyed the boy, worry apparent in her eyes.
"Hey there Kiddo...whats wrong..?"

((I'm posting out of turn simply cause I'm leaving until tomorrow night, so I don't wanna hold anything up <3))
Donny had at some point forgotten his goal when he floated upward, until he heard the Cap'n calling out to him. He fluttered down slowly, calling out a "HOY~!" before landing on the bars just above Tybalt and the glomp of blue now clung behind him. Donny rested his feet on the bars, but they slid, and instead he moved to sit on the bar itself, curving his legs around it so he could flip around and hang from it by his legs. He swung languidly, his head now even with the heads of the other two, and his blonde curls flying madly as they reached for the ground. Viddy was right, this place was fun!
He opened his mouth to let out a string of nonsense, but instead his head banged against the lower bar during a hard swing, and he dropped one hand to rest on his head, making a sour face.
"Owwah." He announced, more out of annoyance than pain.

Lance had climbed onto one of the swings, and was digging a toe into the sand below him, staring at the ground. His sword was laying across his lap, and he ws idly rocking forward and back, his wings drooping behind him. He didn't even bother looking up to watch the other's. They were their own little click, and Lance... Well, he just couldn't fit in. He hardly knew Donny, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to. He blinked as Mieke approached, and his red eyes lifted to acknowledge her prescence.
"...There's nothing wrong, persay..." he murmered, his red eyes falling back to the ground, "I just don't fit in with them. I guess... I just don't really fit in anywhere..."
He sighed, and smiled to her weakly, before beginning to swing a little more furiously. Forward and back, his wings still drooping. His heart obviously wasn't into swinging, but...

Tybalt watched with a sense of pride as Viddy managed to scale the metal monstrosity all on her lonesome, and though he wobbled a bit as she pounced upon him. His hands immediately grasped the metal in an attempt to steady himself, and his wings and tailfeathers splayed for added balance. Even after he got his balance back, he kept his wings down. He didn't want to crowd Viddy, after all.
A warm smile touched his lips as he settled himself into a more comfortable position, one that wouldn't be so hard on his legs. "It seems y'do, lass! What d'ye plan t'do with me now that you've got me, hmm?" He chuckled as the head of Donny joined them, and winced sympathetically as the younger Tale smacked his head. "'Ow're th' two of you doin', other'n clumsy?"

Vidya was preoccupied once more, staring at the red of Tybalt's wings. She loved the colour red just as much as she loved the colour orange, and since Tybalt's growth, it seemed that the pretty red he possessed had only gotten prettier, and she was more than happy to admire it for now. Her attention did move back to him once he spoke to her though, her white eyes turning to stare at the side of his head.
Do with him? Honestly, she hadn't thought that far ahead. Well, now that her Captain was her Captive, she studied him, trying to plot her next move before he decided to take her off of his back. Vidya suddenly looked as if she were going to speak...but blonde curls caught her attention, and at the chime of the metal bars, she winced and placed one of her hands on her forehead in sympathy, her side wings flickering.
"Oooh...Ouch! Donny okay?" She hoisted herself so she could see better over Tybalt's shoulder, staring at her upside down brother. Her gaze turned back to Tybalt (or the side of his face, to be specific) as he spoke once more. Brightening again, she giggled with glee. "Viddy's good! 'gotsa new dress for Momma and Dadda's weddin!" She beamed, obviously proud of that fact. "N'how're you? Cap'n's so BIG! Still pretty colours, though. N'tall...!"
Mieke rocked herself back and forth, her orange gaze on Lance as he spoke to her. Her gaze then flickered towards the monkey children and the monkey bird boy.
"Why don't you try going over there then? It qon't hurt, you know."
Mieke had no idea what transpired when Tybalt and Lance first met.

The bump wasn't that hard, and though Donny scrunged his face up, he giggled softly. "Donny okay~" He chimed back in response, before pulling himself up and hanging off the bar by his hands instead of his knees. He dropped down to the bar below and flopped on it, wobbling unsteadily.
"Donny got a pretty dress for weddin' too but it's black not white like Viddy's." He announced, unaware that what he'd been given wasn't a -dress-, it was a little mini tuxedo. All he knew was the word Vidya used, and hence felt it was perfectly understandable to use the same word in his case.
Right?
He beamed proudly, unaware of what he'd just said, or how much ridicule it might spurn had he been in the wrong crowd. Hiw proud beaming faltered slightly for a moment as he lost his balance, and reached up with one chubby hand to hold onto the side of a bar to regain his balance. He had it covered.

As Viddy shifted, Tybalt wrapped his arms around her legs, making sure she wouldn't fall off. He startled himself with it, not really knowing why he encouraged the prolonged contact; surely, if it had been anyone else, they'd have gotten a black eye for daring to touch him in such a manner. This was VIDYA, though, and for some reason, he didn't really mind it when she touched him. Part of him wondered about that; the rest of him didn't really care; all of him, however, preened both mentally and physically at his first mate's compliments.
"Why thank'ee, m'dear! 'M sure ye'll be pretty when y'grow too." His grin was more than a little arrogant, although he sincerely hoped Vidya would grow soon as well; already he was finding it difficult to relate to the pair, as much as he liked them. His smile fell, then, and he made a face at the mention of Donny's attire for the impending wedding. "Yer...gonna wear a dress t' yer parent's weddin', Donny?" Pity welled within him...it was bad enough that Donny LOOKED like a girl, did his parents really have to dress him like one too?
