Some notes:
-He tends to play mind games with everyone.
-Just like Ash's Pikachu, he doesn't like being in a pokeball.
-He is stubborn and doesn't give up on anything when he sets his mind on it. This is could be a good thing or a bad thing.
-He dreams of making a pack and then take over the human world with his fellow pack members.
-He doesn't mind that he has three legs. Just don't rub it in his face if you have all of you're legs.
-He was once in a pack but after the incident, everyone abandoned him.
-When Katashi is being 'nice' he is being emo.
-Katashi is a bit unbalanced when it comes to fighting. He slips and falls on his right side.
-Katashi has issues with everyone but even more issues with Sumiyaka the Jolteon.
-Katashi's quote, "Humans are nothing more than a pain in the a**..."
-Katashi seems to have a soft spot for Saiya but he refers it to as "Bad food that seems to be making him sick"
-The umbreon hates to see others cry especially when it is because of him. When he sees someone cry, he sees himself when his pack left him to die.
Hitsory:
It was a clear breezy day in the lands on Tentou. The bright sun was blocked off by the tall trees in the forest. There were many cries of different pokemon. A flock of pidgey soar through the air chirping with a harmonious tune. More cries of the pokemon that inhabited the forest joined the chirping with thier own sound. The pokemon of the forest and of the sky above it were making a song together. But the song that was being sung seemed more softer than normal. Something wonderful was happenning...
An female Espeon named Ai, was curled up against three unique colored eggs. Her pack; a group of eeveelutions surrounded her. Even unfimiliar pokemon were staring with curiosity. Her mate, a strong looking Flareon named Aoi, gently placed his paw on one of the eggs. The Espeon smiled at him and then rubbed her nose against the closest egg. The pack was growing and everyone seemed to be pleased. The eggs were expected to hatch today. Everyone was excited to see the miracle. The egg under the Flareon's paw began to rock gently. He pulled his paw away as everyone turned his attention to the rocking egg. Soon after, the egg Ai was rubbing against was rocking as well. The excitement of the pack grew. She shifted her eyes toward the third egg which didn't seem to be moving at all. "Give it some time..." the Flareon whispered.
The two eggs rocked with more speed. Cracks began to form that later grew bigger in a matter of minutes. Two small brown ears stuck out of the eggs. They twitched before finally a head stuck out of them. Taking in thier first few breaths, the newborn eevees gave out a loud cry to reassure that they are alive and well. The pack howled with joy to see such a miracle. But thier cries were cut short as they all stared at the last egg. Everyone was breathing hard. What was taking so long for the third egg? Ai gently rubbed the egg with her paw.
It'll be okay...It'll be okay...she thought to herself. She felt a beat in the egg that made her jerk slightly. The egg made a small movement. Ai pulled her paw away. The egg started to shake even more. Cracks finally appeared and it brought hope into the pack's eyes. Finally the baby pokemon that was inside bursted out of it's shell. Everyone gasped but it wasn't of delight....Something was wrong with this baby eevee...
Everyone turned thier head and then whispered to each other. Cruel things were being said. "He's different! He is half blind!" one whispered harshly and loud enough for the eevee to hear. It was true. The newborn eevee was differnet from all the rest. His left eye was cloudy gray indicating that his left eye was blind. The pack leader, an Umbreon, cleared his throat as a signal for silence. "Different he may be. But he is one of us now. We must live with that!" the Umbreon says with a loud voice. Everyone was worried about the newborn including his parents. The Espeon had really horrible images in her head. Selfish it may seem, but if she had to give this misfit child away she would. To her it seemed like a small price to pay, after all she does have two other children to take care of.
It was only a few months after the eevees were born. They still whisper cruel and horrible things about him and usually glare directly at him. They even gave him the nickname, "Otto" but they pronouced it as "Oddo". Otto wasn't able to do anything about it. He could only tilt his head wondering why everyone was giving him the cold shoulder. The poor eevee also played alone as well. For fear that they couldn't play with their fellow pack members, his siblings ignored him. Even though he was allowed to live with the pack, he felt very alone.
Ai walked over to one of her brothers; a Jolteon named Kyo oneday. "Brother..." she began. "I fear it was wrong of me to just ignore my own son..." She looked down upon herself feeling guilty of her selfish deeds. The Jolteon looked over at her and then smirks. "Do not worry sister...if he hurts you that much, I'll do something about it..." He looked back at Otto and then smiled. He himself had a harsh idea of his own.
A few weeks later, the Jolteon finally approached his nephew. "Hello there..." he says pleasently. Otto, who had been busy scratching his ear looked over at the Jolteon. Though Kyo had a friendly smile, it scared Otto. He tried to crawl away but felt the Jolteon hold his tail down. "Hey now...You're not gonna leave you're uncle alone are you...?" He asked and then gave Otto a teary-eyed look. Otto looked over at him and then sighed as he turned back towards his uncle. Kyo letted go of his tail and then smiles. "You're sad aren't you? You think everyone hates you..." The Jolteon began as he circled around the eevee. "Well ya know what? They do!" He sounded so very enthusiastic. Those words felt like arrows that shot Otto's heart. The eevee looked down, shaking. It hurted so much to learn the truth...The Jolteon smiled again. "I know of a way so that everyone can love you. Even you're mommy and daddy..." Otto's ears twitched hearing this. Otto looked at him with great intesity. "R-really?" He asked finally saying his first word to his uncle. "Yes...Yes I do..." Kyo replied with a smirk. He didn't believe what he was doing was selfish. He was doing this for his sister.
The next morning, Kyo walked out of the pack's den to where Otto sleeps; outside. He shook the eevee until he woke up. "Come on...It's time to go. I'll show you how to gain everybody's love" the Jolteon replies with reassurance. Otto nodded his head firmly. The two walked deeper into the forest. The cries of pokemon had began to lessen. It seem the deeper parts were dead empty and silent. Kyo grimly smiled as he looked left and right. "Yes...This is the place..." he says and looked down at Otto. The eevee was shuddering slightly. "It's so dead and cold here..." he muttered.
Hn...That's because if you were smart you'd know better than to come here... Kyo thought to himself. "Ohhh, don't worry. There is nothing to worry about here" He says. The eevee nodded slightly. "For everybody's acceptance and love!" he had declared.
Kyo was a few feet behind Otto as the eevee walked even more deeper. His left eye was causing him problems and this forest was giving his vision ven more problems. Otto looked back seeing a glowing light comming from Kyo. "Uncle! It's so dark!" Otto called out. The jolteon smiled although it was hard to see. "You'll be able to make it! You must do this alone! If you make it out by yourself, everyone will respect you!" Kyo called out. Kyo looked left and right. He was aware of the dangers of this forest and the main danger were Pokemon Poachers. His nose twitched smelling an unfimiliar scent.
Perfect...Kyo thought.
Otto also smelled this unfimiliar scent. He looked back and then realized Kyo was missing. "Uncle..?" He called out with confusion. His ears twitches hearing a click. It was the sound of a rifle being loaded. A pokemon poacher was hidden behind the trees.
That's right little eevee...stay where you are...He thought to himself. Pointing the long gun close to the eevee, he fired one shot. This caused the Otto to shriek. He looked around frantically. What was that?! Who was doing this?! He was frozen and couldn't move for a while. The pokemon poacher shotted again. This time Otto jumped and then ran deeper and farther into the forest.
Otto's heart was pounding so fast. The only things he could think about was running. Deeper and deeper the eevee went still hearing even more shots being fired. The forest had gotten very dark and it was hard to see where Otto was running towards or even stepping on. Still the the Pokemon Poacher kept firing pleased to know his prey was going where he wanted it to go. Otto continued to run with fear, bumping into many trees and tripping on their roots during the process. Otto was panting and he struggled to run some more. The shooting had ceased. The eevee, still walking foward, was unaware of the bear trap that was set just for him.
Kyo walked back into the pack's den. He had a smirk on his face. "Brother..." Ai began slowly. "Didn't you take Otto with you on a walk?" Kyo grinned again. "Maybe I did...maybe I didn't. But'll tell you one thing...Your little problem is no more..." He says with a low dead tone. Ai stared at the Jolteon as he slowly walked past her with the smirk still on his face.
There was a loud painful cry comming from the deeper parts of the forest. All the pokemon in the forest had had turn thier attention towards where it was comming from. The pack looked at each other with concern. "What was that? What is screamming?" Were the words that all the pokemon were asking each other. "Somebody should check it out!" One said. But everyone was too afraid to go into the deeper parts of the forest. Kyo only smiled and then says, "Why should we care about the screamming? It has nothing to do with us..." He replied sitting up straight with a proud expression on his face. The pack members believed what Kyo said was right. Why should they care? Only *stupid* Pokemon would dare enter that part of the forest...
Otto was screamming out in pain as the large metal teeth of the bear trap sunk deeper into his leg. He continued to scream as he attempted to pull his leg free. But the more Otto pulled, the more tighter and deeper the teeth sank in. The Pokemon Poacher smiled as he grabbed a flashlight and then shined it over towards the eevee. Otto shaded his eyes but was relieved to see the light. "Uncle, Is that you? Help me! I'm stuck and it hurts!" The eevee cried out as he pulled some more. The eevee squinted his eyes realizing that the light didn't come from Kyo, it was a human. "Awww....is the poor little eevee stuck in my mean old trap?" The pokemon Poacher asked in a sarcastically babyish tone. He grabbed onto the chain that was attached to the bear trap and then held it up high. The poor eevee was left dangling in the air with nothing to support him. There was blood...too much blood...too much pain...Otto passed out.
It was unknown oh how Otto was in a comfortable bed. He was wearing a mask and was breathing slowly. He heard strnage "Beeping" noises. How odd...A pink haired nurse by the name of Nurse Joy ((surprised?)) walked over to him and gently patted the fur off the body. "There there now...you'll be all right" she says with warmand gentle smile. The eevee felt different in a way. The pain in his right leg was gone. Infact...he couldn't even feel his leg! His eyes trailed off to see his bottom to find horror. Otto could feel his heart beat rapidly. Where is it?! WHere did it go?!!? Otto kept fidgeting as Nurse Joy and her CHansey tried to calm down the horrified pokemon.
All this fidgiting cause the Chansey to back up too muc knocking over a platter of scalples and needles. Finally Otto got up as he shook the oxygen mask of and pulled off any sort of wires that were on his body. He was ditching this place. He scurried out the door and fell flat on his face infront of a few passing by trainners. "Please! Wait!" Nurse Joy cried out as she chased after the eevee. Otto's ears twitched to hear that the human was still chasing after him. Summoning his strength with all his might, he pushed himself towards the exit.
By the time Otto was out the door, it seemed as if all his energy was drained. His tongue hanged out of his mouth as he tried to get up once more. He slowly began to walk and wobbled from being unbalanced. Falling onto the right side, it seemed impossible to get back to the forest. He began to push himself again. He was going back to the pack. But would they even acceppt something as deformed as him now?
Ai sat up as straight as she could as she stared back at the empty den. Her forked tailed waved left and right elegantly. The pack was going to move today. The humans have found out thier location apparently. "Ai! Lets go already!" Kyo called out. He frowned at the slowness of his sister as he turned around. His ears twitched as he heard a twig crack. Everyone turned thier attentions to the source of where it was comming from. Thier ears lowered as their mouth was wide opened. Otto stood ten feet away from them covered in sweat and dirt. As the eevee tried to get closer, everyone slowly moved back.
"I'm back! I'm back!" Otto called out with joy. But the pack wasn't too happy. "Not only is he half blind he only has three legs now! He is a bad omen! A curse! We should leave him!" Were angry hisses that went around. Otto lowered his ears as he heard some of the cruel things that have been spoken. "Well well well...so the little eevee returned..." Kyo spoke out. He smirked at the confused pokemon. "You're a fool...You won't be accepted now with only three legs. Actually...nobody would EVER accept you. Kid you should give up now and go lie in a ditch..." the jolteon says as he turned over to the rest of the pack. "Everyone here agrees with me. You always wanted to come into the den right? Well you can if you want to sleep alone..." he says. He turned his head over to the pack leader who had only turned away. "Oh well...we should just leave now..."
The whispers...the pains in his heart...It had finally broke. "Momma...." He sputtered as his tears trailed down his face. Ai didn't bother to look back as she too slowly walked off with her pack. "Momma...Don't....please...?" Otto begged. He watched as the pack continue to walk off. Ai stopped for a moment and Otto smiled with hope. But the words she spoke weren't positive. "Maybe you should have never been born..." Otto smiled faded away. He looked very grim as he watched his mother dissapeared in through the trees. "You too....You too..." He said a couple of times. "I hate you........"
