Personal Thread, if anyone posts in here, it's gonna get a little confusing cus i'll have to work everything out which is kinda annoying. However, this will be a personal post thread to work on my skills and character and find out just how hard it is to become a captain.
The training will be broken up into three sections.
Melee Combat Styles
Kidoh Combat Styles
Reiatsu Control
Once these have been achieved, then I will move onto my Zanpakuto training. The training will begin without my Zanpakuto however, and in a flash back training session where I appear to be back in my memories.
Melee Training:
Technique Training: (285/1500 total) (19o;mpleted)
Hand to Hand Combat: 285/500 Posts (Mastery) (57% Completed)
Attack: 167/167posts (100%) Defence: 118/167 (70.66%) posts Evade: 0/167
Kenjutsu Combat: 500 Posts (% Completed) Bow and Arrow Combat: 500
Form Training: (2000 Total) (o;mpleted)
Speed training: 1000 posts Strength Training: 1000 Posts
Kidoh Training: 3000 Total
Hado: 1500 posts = 50 techniques / 30 posts each Bakudo: 1500 posts = 50 techniques / 30 posts each
Reiatsu Control: 2500 Total
Resolve construction: 500 posts Reiatsu Control Tuning: 1000 posts Reiatsu Growth: 1000posts
285/9000 posts completed =3.17%
------------------------Bankai training---------------------------
Once the above has been completed, access to Bankai has been granted. This means a lot of training. Equivalent to 3000 posts of pure Bankai training.

I had decided to take my training elsewhere other than Seireitei. I had headed back to the aqueduct and took a number of books from the stash I had collected and then hired a horse before heading north into the Inori mountains. Of course, I hadn't expected things to be easy as I headed back to the Han tower. In fact I much suspected that I would be attacked before I got to my destination, it wasn't though until I got to the entrance to the inori mountains that Waraku decided to take me elsewhere and illuminated a new path for me.
Taking it I headed off at a canter straight down towards river and then into a series of vast plains. I had never been this far east before, thus is would be unfamiliar territory. I looked around, there was nothing but grass for miles and beyond that, the darkness of thunderous wastelands. I had in my infancy in Seireitei heard legends of the ferocity of the thunderstorms in this direction, and that no one had ever survived to get to the other side. It seemed however, that it was the direction I was to go in, at least until the horse stopped before a bridge that crossed a giant gorge.
"You have to be kidding me," I said out loud and got off my horse. I would've went forwards but it was then that the horse trotted off to the side as a totem erupted from the ground the otherside of the bridge.
"This is the land of the forgotten, only if you are truly worthy may you pass into the realms of the remembered," The rock boomed. It was then that I noticed it had a face, and the face was moving. I went for Waraku but she wasn't there. I looked around and then back at the rock. Waraku was sealed inside it.
"You must learn again, the ways of the warrior in order to defeat me and my army." The rock said and suddenly a golem came up from the ground, roughly my size only a little bigger and made from rock. It wasn't as bulky as i'd anticipated either though.
It came straight at me. (I'm going to use a dice system in order to make it fair. A d12 die should suffice.) I jumped back quickly. (the first roll will be for it, the second for myself)

I felt a sudden whack in my side as it's huge arm collided with me. I flew straight into a tree, this Golem was quicker than I had anticipated, and guarding would be virtually useless against something with such mammoth strength.
Though I had barely time for this thought to pass before the monster was on top of me again hurling a large rock straight for my head. I hadn't expected a rock golem to say the least, but a rock throwing golem was slightly more than I could have anticipated. This meant I would have to use close combat, or face almost certain anahilation from the creature. To escape this blow I tried to roll to the side, although the rock was large I had summised that I may be able to minimize the damage.

Seeing that my chance had finally came as the rock sailed past me leaving the beast open, I dived in to try and eliminate my opponent using whatever Hand to Hand combat skills I had at my disposal. Having this sneaky suspicion that the golem would be immune to anything Kidoh orientated I thrust my punch straight into its stomach.
The golem though wasn't as thick as I thought it would be, and made a move to bring its arms down to block me. I felt confident I could still land the blow but...this was going to be a close call.

Landing the punch smoothly, I decided to start going in for a combo attack and punched with my other hand through it's block. The monster was indeed a lot stronger than I had fought before, the Hollow I had fought were no match for this what so ever, and I was thankful there was only one of them.
However, even as I commenced my attack it had pulled back it's other hand curled it into a fist and threw it straight at my head as if I were a child being beaten by a giant. I had to stop the connection but how. Then it came to me, my combo move.
Moving into the third phase of my combo move, I pulled my left hand back and drove it up straight into it's right arm that was flying straight at my face.
(golem then me)

It was a close call, but I missed, by a millimetre and it's fist powed into my head sending me once more through the air, what on earth had I done wrong, my technique was flawless, I should have hit it dead on. I growled as I regained my stance in mid air.
I was however, not amused to find another rock flying at me, far faster than I was flying backwards, it would hit me in mid air. I spread my arms out slowing me down a bit more, than I kicked at it with my leg hoping to use the momentum to somersault over it, land and make my way towards the golem again.

I had barely flipped up into the air over the first one, when a second was coming at me again. This couldn't be happening, the sheer speed of my movement was already taking it's toll on my body even though my endurance levels had risen, doing this much work in such a short space of time was virtually inconcievable. However, I pushed the limits of my body and made to grab the rock, so that I could spin my self around it, and use it to push my self towards my opponent.
The Golem had a look of bliss on it's face as if it thought it were winning. It had indeed landed two attacks already, and I was fairly determined not to give it a third.

I gasped, as instead of a near miss like last time, or a success like the time before, I had miss calculated the rocks trajectory, and it had curved round in the air smashing straight into me and sending me sprawling to the floor. The damn thing was far stronger than I was realizing, I couldn't underestimate this opponent, I had to fight it quick, and I had to fight it fast.
I stood up felt the ground rumble up beneath my feet. I looked at the Golem who had his fist against the ground. I jumped up quickly. He had that kind of ability!? This was maddening, I wouldn't be able to land an attack if this kept up.

Jumping up however seemed to be my downfall as the tower of earth sprung up and struck me hard in the back tossing me through the air. Blood came out of my mouth as I hit a tree with such force that a few acorns fell.
"Dammit," I said and wiped my mouth forcing myself forwards to escape a rock that was coming down from above at a forty five degree angle, I had to get closer, no matter what, I had to engage in hand to hand combat, and I had to do it quickly

Dodging the rock with relative ease, I moved forwards quickly through the trees and then right before I reached him I jumped up into the air, somersaulted, and delivered a kick to the back of it's head, a form of drop kick almost.
The rock golem yet again tried to thwart my attempt by jumping backwards. I had never seen a golem move so fast, weren't they supposed to be huge hideous creatures that could hardly move?

The kick connected, that I was thankful of, but how much could I defend and attack this brute. I had hardly anyway of attacking, only that I knew that Close combat was the way forward on defeating this one. I flipped over the monster and landed behind it, driving my elbow back into the monster.
The golem spun around trying to drive his arm straight into mine in order to stop the attack. He was clever, and at that moment, I knew this was a test, one that I would have to overcome if I wished to make it further.

The golem stumbled forwards it's move clearly uncoordinated as it sailed above me, missing me. This was my chance, I had to move now before it could react and defend against me. I spun around in a roundhouse kick and drove my foot into the back of its head.
The golem yet again provde its evasive tactics and bent it's legs trying to sink down and avoid my moves. While it did that, I drove my heel straight down into it's neck.

The attack connected and the golem fell onto it's knee's. It was now or never, I had to deliver a fairly powerful execution kick in order to defeat this monster, since I couldn't get to Waraku. However, the angle was all wrong. I decided to kick it forwards and aimed at it's head thrusting forwards.
The golem made an attempt to use it's falling momentum to roll forwards and up again. That couldn't happen. I had to kick it down and defeat it, I had to crush it.

The golem fell forward, but before I could deliver the final move to the back of it's head, it sank into the ground peacefully.
(earned a +1 to my dice)
I could see across the bridge that the totem was still watching, but I doubted the golem was still alive, that meant that something else was going to happen. I started to move forwards. The totem then spoke.
"I have tested your hand to hand combat skills, and now I must give you the skills of a warrior before you may pass the second stage. Please follow me to you learning area when you are ready." I looked around. I had to be ready there was nothing else to do. The totem then moved and suddenly the rock peeled away from itself along the gorgeface, revealing a long path descending straight to the bottom, or so it seemed. The totem started moving down, and so I followed.
"Your training has just begun, and until you complete this training you will not be allowed to progress onto the later stages. At the end of each set of training you will recieve a test of sorts in order to see how far you are progressing." The totem spoke as it descended. Then the path leveled out and the totem stopped, turned to the wall and went forwards into the face of the rock. A glyph opened up the rock and I followed the rock through.
"Your first training will be just on attacking, you will focus on how to attack your opponent in many different ways as hard and as accurate as possible. Then I will teach you about defending against each and every attack known. Once you have accomplished these, I will teach you about evasion. Once that is finished, all will be combined in a test. It will follow these formats for Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and the Art of the Bow." The totem came to a waterfall, "This will be your home here. Please see me when you wish to begin your training."
I looked around. I was in a huge room, decorated with Murals. I was impressed this place was huge, but I needed to tend to my wounds so I walked over to where the water pooled and started to cleanse my wounds. However, once the water touched the wound, a fiery burning went through me, when I looked at my wound again it was healed perfectly.
