I recently got this game (As well as Naruto: Ultimate Ninja for the PS2). Now, I know, because I've heard it a million times from friends and the like, that I should import 4, but importing for me is pretty much out of the question. If I ever am able to get my hands of the fourth, though, before it comes here, if it does, then I'll note it.
For now, though, are there any other Clash of Ninja 2 players around? I've played the first, and this one is a HUGE step above that one by every measure. I wasn't disappointed at all. The characters I use are Neji, Haku, Sakura and, on occasion, Gaara.
I'm loving the fact that the Hyugas can feint their combo attacks and such. Makes for some nice mixup opportunities for those folks that like to sit back and guard because it's simple enough to do so. It means they can't risk turtling up as much as they'd like to. The same goes for Haku and his ics needles. They do gurad damage, and he can have them stall in the air which makes his combos all the more devastating when used properly. 3nodding

Okay, I know this isn't a very serious question, but I still feel the need to ask....
The amount of times Naruto says "Believe it!" in the couse of a single match in CON 2: More or less than Ultimate Ninja?
If the answer is "more", then I may need to buy earplugs. gonk

If the answer is "more", then I may need to buy earplugs. gonk lol... xd Far less, as that's only said as he starts his Uzumaki Barrage in battle. He'll spout it in story mode on occasion, and on one, maybe two of the main menu selections, but it's NOWHERE NEAR as bad as it is in Ultimate Ninja.

That's one thing I couldn't stand in Ultimate Ninja.

Naruto isn't all that great. Well, normal Naruto anyway. Too many of his attacks and combos are unsafe, if not just by the lag factor alone after being blocked, then because most of his moves and combos can be sidestepped with ease once you get it down. He also doesn't have much in the way of a mixup game because of this, and in CON2, that's a pretty important thing to be able to do to keep your opponent guessing often as possible. If anything, though he has an air throw, so you can use that to your advantage, since people tend to jump quite often. Now, Kyuubi Naruto, on the other hand, is good. He has more safe attack strings, is damned fast, and he retains the air throw to boot, aside from the enhanced strength. smile

His forward+B travels quite a long distance in quite a short time, so that's one way to close the gap, among other options he has, like a teleport dash that goes through and behind his opponent. All about the offense with him, basically.

Kyuubi Naruto can almost constantly attack his opponent, giving little to no time to do anything other than use their chakra for an escape, which he can just sidestep before starting his offensive pressure going all over again.

Mine is 261 with Neji and Sharingan Sasuke.

Notice how CON2 Regular Naruto uses dopplegangers, the CON1 naruto does not nor does nine talied fox naturo in both CON so since naruto has been upgraded to use dopplegangers in his combos you can look at nine tailed fox Naruto as a classic Naruto, just like Devil Jin from tekken 5 he plays just like Tekken 3 Jin so people refer to him playing like a classic Jin. xd My record is about 30 wins before I let my self get killed. xd

Thanks for clearing that up. 3nodding Thing is, I didn't bother to play the first CON long enough to unlock the other two characters after finding out that 10 was as far as it went. Made me all the more glad that it belongs to a friend and I waited for the second. Still, you HAVE to take all Kyuubi Naruto's speed into account aside from whatever other changes he has from normal Naruto. If the opponent is good, they can sidestep away from quite a bit of what he's got. And, why did you stop at 30? xd I beat my record earlier today, from 261 with Neji and Sharingan Sasuke to 276 with Haku. 3nodding
