Are you purely using Fruity Loops, or do you have a mixing program also?

If you want to try a Mixing program, you can Click Hereand find ACID Express(Free) Demo on the left hand side of the screen. It is a demo for ACID Music Studio, a perfect tool to use with Fruity Loops. Just render your fruity loop sample as a wav file, and open it in ACID, then you can mix the samples. If you need to know anything I did not cover, just let me know. ^.>

I'm using the newer version demo, so I don't know if this'll help.

I tend to take the Hard Drum 2 under Sytrus>Drums and bring up the volume. Then using vocoder, distort it to give a mix between a heavy and terror sound.
