"My head hurts." Xipe complained as he stumbled along beside Meskeet, stopping every so often to shake his head and glare blankly around. Meskeet, he noticed, didn't seem to care too much. Stupid cold witch. She'd care someday when she finally over came her childish ideas of him and realized her true love. Yep. Then she'd be sorry.
Meskeet, he failed to notice was actually so concerned with his worsening condition that she was trying everything imaginable to take him from blankly bad, to utterly empty. A good puppet was one without any other ideas. What little he could remember she had no use for. And an alpha that could think seperately from what she told him was an alpha not wanted here.
Not that she'd have many problems with that. Probbing his mind was useless as she learned very little from it, if anything at all. What she really wanted to learn was how to completely control him. It seemed one of the more interesting qualities of seers, and she intended to master the technique.
She glanced ahead and cautiously began her descend down the rocky cliffside towards the forest as Xipe tripped and slid clumsily behind her. So her ability to control their thoughts and movements wasn't exactly in sinc yet. It would be soon enough with all the practice she was putting in. Even Malady had begun to wise up whenever Meskeet approached her with the words "Hey come here, I want to test something."

Needless to say, Kiah wasn't happy. That brown rat had promised her power, advantage over other wolves, the ability to be a princess again and order others around. She didn't see that happening at the moment, and she was rather pissed about it. Thus, she was attempting to find Meskeet and babble to her, her anger rising with every passing second.
Where was that b***h?
Growling and grumbling to herself, she padded on, her tail lashing from side to side angrily much like a cat's would. She wanted her power, damnit!
As she moved along, her sensitive ears picked up something that sounded like voices not too far away. Thinking it might be Meskeet, her auds pricked forward in an attempt to better receive the sounds. Not much of a difference, at least not that she could tell. This made her more frustrated. It drove her to the point where she seemed almost crazed.
Stomping forward again, the magenta female pressed her ears back against her skull and began yelling out, possibly at nothing at all.
"I want my power that you promised me, you rat!!" she yelled, looking around and hoping to find Meskeet on one of her turns. "YOU PROMISED ME!"

Inspiration was something leaders often needed. Inspirtation to continue on, to protect themselves and their followers, and inspiration to generally keep things in order. Hearing the echoing calls of a recently met female Meskeet found her inspiration hammering her in the face.
It was time to flee for a moment.
Swiveling around to kick Xipe in the head Meskeet dashed hurriedly down the remaining rocks and lept to the green forest cover. Luckily enough for her it didn't take much to disappear.
Unfortunately Xipe found his luck harder to come by. Lacking ears Meskeet's surprise attack came as quite the surprise. Stumbling backwards with his head swinging down to protect his neck should any further attack come the male tripped over himself with a fresh headache and stumbled head over heels down the cliff side.
Landing in a disgruntled pile at the bottom the luckless male was only semi-conscious. Enough for Meskeet to be able to get a firm grasp, and enough for him to slightly recognize the form that appeared near the cliff he'd recently been escaping from.
Ear brat? Dang.

Surprisingly, Kiah had stopped yelling long enough to hear something trip and stumble upon the ground, ultimately landing in what sounded like a rather large thud.
Heh?
Swiveling her ears around with her head following quickly, she attempted to locate the origin of the sounds. As her eyes darted around, she spotted the earless wonder that was Xipetotec. Narrowing her eyes, her tail bristled and she let out a low growl. Great, just what she needed.
"You clumsy brute," she cursed under her breath, even though he couldn't hear her anyways. Speaking louder, she lifted her head and attempted to make herself feel better by at least winning out over this loser.
"What are you doing here?" she questioned, even though it was a bit of a dumb question. She had heard that he was the alpha or something--which didn't please her one bit--and was to lead them all. Pah! Him, leading a pack of wolves. How funny.
"Well?" she growled, prodding him with a paw.

Anger quickly rising Xipetotec snapped savagely at her paw as she dared to touch him. He was the alpha here. Not some idiot wench.
He would have attempted to bully her further had he not begun to feel a slight cold edge creep over him as Meskeet thought better of his antics. Surely there would be something Kiah could be useful for. She wouldn't have the brainless brute run her off.
"Go trouble the omega with your whinning, girl. I'm busy." Busy. Darn right he was! Who else was going to take the time to examine this fine, dirt..

Kiah's hackles rose immediately as the male snapped at her paw. How dare he make such a move towards her! He obviously didn't know who he was dealing with here (though in truth she couldn't fight a pup if the world depended on it).
It only angered her more when he seemed to dismiss it all and told her to go bug that stupid omega. Hah! Like she would waste her precious time on some worthless bag of bones such as that omega! She'd much rather spend time with the puppies. At least they made sense and seemed sane to her. But that omega... she was something else that the magenta female would rather never have to deal with.
"Like hell I would!" she snapped at him, her anger flaring up again. Taking a step forward, their faces only inches from one another, she narrowed her eyes and held her ground suprisingly well.

Glaring fiercely at the princess Xipe wondered if it would even be worth it to snap at her again. He'd surely get her face this time. Someone had to teach her to respect her alpha, dammnit.
But as his anger began to escalate he sneared and turned away. She wasn't even worth one of his beatings. Spoiled girl. He wouldn't grace her with his touch.
Though she obviously wanted it. Why else would she go out of her way to be so annoying?
Stupid girls. Can't do anything right.
Huffing he puffed out his chest and looked sideways at her. "Like I said. Busy. When you've got something to show then you can come lookin' for me like you're hot stuff."
Because she was obviously looking for him. Hah. He could see it. If he wasn't so darned perfect things would be so much easier.

Kiah narrowed her eyes at him and bared her fangs. He was turning away from her after all of that! He couldn't just turn away! She wasn't finished with him. And besides..
"I didn't come looking for you, you incompetent brute," she snarled. "You fell right in front of my path. That isn't my fault!" She huffed. "There's no way that I would ever come purposely looking for you." She made a disgusted face, as if the mere thought could make her gag.
When he talked of hot stuff, she raised her head and lifted her tail somewhat. Though he was the 'alpha' of these lands, she didn't really feel like he was. How could he be? Him! Hah, it made her laugh.
"I am hot stuff," she snorted, tossing her head in a fanciful manner. "Face it, you were looking for me. You came all the way here just to see me." She grinned. Of course he came looking for her! Who wouldn't?

Xipe held his head high and looked away, as if uninterested.
"I'd never come looking for you. I was, actually, teaching some very important lessons to whatsherface, the white one."
He nodded and glanced back to her casually.
"Very important. And you seem to have chased her off. So, now I have to go find another vessel worthy of my teachings."
He strutted away in the saussiest manner he could muster.
"See you Hot Stuff."
