Prize: One October 2006 Donation Letter. Deadline: November 15.
Rules:
-Banners must be for the guild and must be made suitable for advertisement.
-Banners but me 350pxs in width, 19 in height. No exceptions. As long as you make a slim, long banner, you can make an accompanying short or large banner, but this is as your own wish.
-Banner must not draw upon other common themes of rival guilds or organizations. If you are unsure if your banner is crossing this line, I will be the judge over the issue.
-I am the final judge on this contest. Any Crew member who doesn't participate themselves are free to weigh in their thoughts in the Crew Office as well.
-On a personal note, I like lower-case, non-imposing fonts. Something simple... and you know... child-like. But this isn't binding.
Have fun with it.

It's cute and I like the little dots but it doesn't have much 'oomph'. Like there's nothing that jumps off the page about it, it kind of just lingers in the background.
It's good for a layout but not so much for a signature, considering that a siggy is to catch people's attention.

I like it. Far too many banners are way overstated and too busy.
This one is simple and nice.

Beware the Jabberwock It's cute and I like the little dots but it doesn't have much 'oomph'. Like there's nothing that jumps off the page about it, it kind of just lingers in the background.
It's good for a layout but not so much for a signature, considering that a siggy is to catch people's attention. The outline didn't show up. When I have a second i'll re add one. I don't know what else to do. I thought abot a catchphrase but they all sucked.

It's more than simply an outline issue. The colours you've chosen, which nice are cute and nice are just watercolours. They don't pop or get noticed. The fact that your font is plain black just adds to this, as it's easy to miss the font as well.
Like I said, for a layout it's good, because you need something nice and neat, not specifically eye-catching, but for a signature it should be something I'm drawn to immediately.

I couldn't decide which one I liked better gonk No overlay glow thing A tan overlay glow thing A gray overlay glow thing They all were done from scratch of an original photo. I edited the color scheme of the original photo with a more glowy feeling biggrin I used plants to allude to life.
