Definity Remika, more commonly known as Rouge, wandered confusedly through the entrance way in this strange building she'd arrived in. She'd merely been out walking today, waiting for her ship to be finished some more repairs it was undergoing, when she'd happened upon a Wand Shop. The door had a strange sign upon it daring her to press it. Never being one to back down from a challenge she'd pressed the golden writing and ended up in this place.
Now she was a bit lost and rather bewildered, which isn't good for a moody space pirate. Adjusting her long ribbony dress she decided to look for someone to tell her how to get out of this place. And with that her black combat boots had started walking half heartedly. She didn't have much to do that day and it was better than the street but still it was kinda lonely being here by herself.

Kishi walked ever so carefull down the hallway towards the main lobby, she was still having a hard time keeping balance and anything faster than a wall would throw her off completely and send her to the ground.
At the sound of the portal activating she'd lengthened her step a little however in eagarness. If she was lucky whoever had come through would be one of her friends and she'd be able to show off her new growth.
Sadly the woman she found was not a friend but a stranger, still Kishi smiled, new people were usually possible friends. "Hi there, I'm kishi, who are you and do you have a wand?"

"Me? I'm Rouge and I don't think so. What are these wands I keep hearing about?" the woman asked, looking at the child.
Large black wings, deeply tanned skin, either this was a Phyfin Ecron combo or she was looking at what humans refered to as a demon of sorts. This one seemed to be rather young and friendly so she returned the smile without much hesitation.
"I just randomly wanted to look at the sign on the door of some shop. Though I coulda sworn I read the words wand shop somewhere around there. Are those the ones you mean?" she remembered, mumbling a little bit more to herself than to the girl.

Kishi raised her own wand which she's been letting hang in one hand as she'd been trying to walk without using it as a balancer. Her father has said that if she became used to using it in such a manner it would become a crutch and she'd never learn to carry her own weight properly.
"This is a wand I came from one a long time ago. My mom gives them to people when she gets a special feeling about them." Kishi wondered if becuase this woman was here she was destined to get a wand. She hoped so after all Rouge was pretty interesting looking and would probably help a ghost grow to be just as interesting.

Rouge blinked a few times and tried to take in what she was hearing. Somewhere in the back of her mind she remembered her 'mother' telling her that babies do not come from magic, a big white bird, or anything like that and so on and so forth. That had ended in a very long and somewhat embarassing explaination as to where babies DO come from which had since made her a bit nervous about the subject.
"So your mom feels something and then gives them a wand which a kid comes from. Wow that's a hell of a lot better explaination than I was given for that but okay." she said. Hey whatever works in this society. Maybe they did things different here. She didn't know since she'd not been here long.
"So what is this place?" she asked, seeing as the child seemed to know quite a lot more about it than she did.

Kishi stared confused at rouge for a moment then shrugged and nodded " and there's this book that says what kind of creatures and things we were before.. well before and then it helps our parents know how to take care of us. I'm a succubus and my sister is a fairy thing and there's Zah he's a drow and Yashi who's a grouchy fox with a fluffy looking tail and Bennu who has feathers" She babbled happily her grey eyes gleaming as she listed off as many of the other's as she could at once.
"Technically all of the wand children are being reborn, thier souls reside in the wand until they manifest as babies but they were all born naturally to thier biological parents once." Malen said entering both the conversation and the room. He'd come out of his room just in time to here the last few minutes of the conversation.

The rather squinched up half open mouthed look of confusion Rouge had had on her face at the begining of Kishi's explaination vanished as soon as Malen spoke.
"Oooooooooooh. Okay. I was confused there for a second. Thought there might be something different about reproduction in this world than in mine. Thanks for clearing that up." she said shaking her head and looking back at the child.
"So there's a spider-elf thing, a 'grouchy fox', a fairy, a bird type and you're a kind of demon?" she asked, starting to vaguely get what the girl was talking about. This man's explaination had in a way given her a bit of a clue as to whatever was going on and that helped. "Eenteresting. I think I get it." she said with a nod, putting a long e sound on the first sylable of Interesting instead of a short i.
Turning to Malen once more she smiled. "Hi, I'm Rouge. And you are?"

Kishi frowned at the thought of being called a demon, she was't nearly as scarey looking as her mother a true succubus and thus demon had been . "I'm only half succubus A" she paused trying to remember the word " Cambion. So I'm only a little demon and not mean or evil at all." Well that was mostly true, she could get annoyed and give someone a hell of a whacking with her wand if she wanted to.
Malen grinned "I'm Malen Kishi father and Fiance of Ianna the woman who runs the wand shop." Rouge may not be a guardian yet but since most people who made their way into the lobby tended to become ones it wouldn't hurt to get to know her.

Rouge laughed a little at what the girl said. "I didn't mean to insult you hon. You don't seem evil and you're not mean from what I can see." she told the girl, a big grin showing on her face.
Turning back to Malen she smiled. "A very smart girl you have here. She's been quite helpful as have you. I'm a bit lost right now, being as I not only am unfamiliar with the realm of Gaia but I'm a bit lost here." she said with a bit of a sheepish grin. She hated getting lost, hated being lost, and sucked at navigating so she was quite often lost.
"I was on my way to a jewelry store nearby when I randomly felt curious about the shop." she added.

Kishi gave the woman a forgiving small before heading towards the magic fridge in search of a snack. She loved her dad's cooking but sometimes a fast snack prepared by the fridge tasted just as good. Besides it would take him too long to make rice krispie squares. " Would you like a snack miss Rouge?" She asked politely.
Malen nodded " It's ok there's a guardian who lives outside of gaia and to get here she has to travel through a dimensional portal so you're not the only one unfamiliar with gaia's ways. " He gave her a gentle smile " Obviously you're special then as the shop only tends to subcosciously draw in those it has plans for."

"Snack?" she asked, looking at the child. "If you happen to have a rice krispie that would be nice but I don't want to impose." she said, sheepish grin showing on her face once more.
Glancing over at Malen her left eyebrow raised. "Well if it has plans for me I hope they're interesting or involve kids. I like kids even though my lover can't stand them." she laughed.

Kishi grinned and opened the fridge pulling out a tray of the desired treat. She really had to thank Matilda for this one day if she ever met her. Walking carefully she made her way back over to rouge. " You can have the first one." It was only right she thought to serve the guest first.
"Involving children is highly likely and it's good to meet someone else who loves kids. It seems like half the guardians here while decent parents are simply not enjoying the idea of being a parent or really aren't suited for the job. Shame about the disagreeable lover though." Malen stated.

"Why thank you." Rouge said kindly taking the first and grinning at Kishi.
"Yeah its a shame. Personally I don't get why she hates children. She says they give her a headache but that's part of the fun." she told him with a shrug. "How is it that the right wands get to the right people?" the woman asked. There seemed a lot of different kinds and people who didn't like the idea of having kids so she wondered how they got paired up

Malen shrugged " I don't know, heck look at me I'm a man and they gave me a succubus for a child. Apparently however the book knows when you touch it."

"She doesn't seem to be turning out too badly though." Rouge said, having just finished a bite of her own sqaure. "How exactly do these children age anywho? Just normally like regular children do or what?" she was highly curious by now.
So she might have to care for a child of a strange race, most likely not of her own, and she wouldn't have a choice really in the matter though that wasn't exactly a problem for her. Strange. Strange yet kind of interesting.
