I'm shaking my fist angrily at you!!
I finally got over my hump with them, about how every other store in the sun gets the game on its release date but them, but this has reached a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
The other day I spent a good 300 dollars in there, buying a reserving games. I had to argue with the guy that I didn't want the special edition of Final Fantasy XII's Strategy Guide for the better part of twenty minutes (Anyone who's been to Gamestop knows the line behind me wouldn't get the kid to shut up and move on) and eventually, I'm so pissed off, I say, "Give me the ******** original, god dammit."
"Would you also like one for Tales of the Abyss?"
"Sure, whatever."
ERROR: Tales of the Abyss wasn't even in their system, although I was four feet away from a promotional poster telling me to reserve the special edition so I can get a "Laser Cel," Wtf ever that is. So he calls over some managaer guy, who makes some phone calls and takes up another twenty minutes of my time, and then says, "Sir, we don't have that in our system."
It's on their ******** website.
And then today, I call them, since it was released yesterday and now is the day this should be, and say, "Have you gotten my ******** YOU GAMESTOP.

An employee at Best Buy told us that Guitar Hero 2 was being sold at a nearby Gamestop, even though I was suspicious because a lot of sites say it's being released November 7. Turns out he lied.

I bought Psychonauts myself today.
It's cuuute. <3 Mostly because it was on sale for a mere 179 kroners. That's like 20$.
And I've never had those problems in my game stores.. I'm sure those people just want to rip you off.

I never pre-order anything. I don't trust giving them my money unless I get something in return immediately.

I always wanted to rent it but Blockbuster didn't have it. Then again it was a year ago.

I was so freaking angry when I heard they bought out EB Games
so now they have like 95% of the gaming market?
Seriously, the only major video games stores were...
Gamestop and EB/EB games.
RWS says, "boo, monopolies."

It was supposed to be out months ago.
And now the Gamecube version isnt out until november, whereas my Wii version is out on launch date, Nov 19th.

Gamestop tried to give me $30 for about five good PS2 games, all of which were in like-new condition.
I'd rather travel the fifty minutes to a personally-owned game shop than go to Gamestop.

So many awesome conversations.. To be expected from the maker of "Grim Fandango" and "Day of the Tentacle". Those are two brilliant adventure games from a good 10 years ago.

GameStops crap man
the staff in my local have no idea about computer games
talking to them about new releases on the PS2
i end up getting a list of games for the Gamecube and told its the same thing
how that works i dont know
