Hey guys,
Okay, I literally have to head off for school in 30 seconds, but I just wanted to stop by really quick since I've been gone for such a very long time...GAH! Tangents do not equal good! ANYWAYS!
I remembered from WVGSA that today was National Coming Out Day so I just wanted to drop a topic and say that I love and support all my brothers and sisters in the GGSA who are GLBT! I'm wearin' my rainbow armband today just for you!

Yay for National Coming Out Day! Ironically, we had Spirit Week this week, and Coming Out Day was also Superhero Day. So naturally, I went as Super Dyke!

I could have come out to my step-dad but meh.. I think I enjoyed it much better without him putting his views into how my personal life should be run. 3nodding

I'm so stupid. I was in the library on the 10th, with one of my new friends (I only came out to like two of my friends before, and now with my new friends, because it's such a small school, and because it's a religious school, I just don't feel comfortable telling them yet...) anyway. There were a couple other people in there, namely these two sophomores whom, before leaving, said to us in a really giggly and joking voice, "Hey, we just wanted to let you know that tomorrow's National Coming Out day, so like, yeah. Not that we think you are or anything..." And before they could finish their sentence my friend jumps in and is like, "Of course I'm not gay, I'm entirely straight." And laughs. But not a nervous laugh, just a "how absurd" sort of laugh. And so, I felt that I had to say something to, so, I did as best I could to choke out a "Yeah, me neither." But of course because the whole topic made me so nervous and uncomfortable, I sort of made this suspicious nervous giggle afterwards. Gah, I really hope they didn't think anything of it (my friend or those girls...). Meh. x.X;;;

I got tricked into manning one of the booths for distributing rainbow pins at my school in the morning *shakes fist* tricky WVGSA sponsers! *shakes fist* But one of my friends came by to sit with me so all was well. I was surprised how many people came up and asked very politey if they could take one and we actually got a few members of the football team and all the members of the swimteam to wear 'em. It was a pretty good day... pirate heart
