Carl began on the third and forth, and then moved on to making some towers at the edges. Unlike his companion, he didn't bother looking back. He hadn't seen anything back there and thus he couldn't fathom something threatening lying beyond the doorframe. He soley concentrated on their masterpiece until he was allowed the sattisfaction of standing back and surveying what they'd done.
Trea looked back to the fort and marveled at how well he had done. It was a lovely front half of a fort castle fit for a queen. "Ypu have done quite well my precious Carl. I am satisifed." She looked to the hallway and slipped her hand into his. "Shall we journey inward?"

Precious? Him? Of course he was! It was just the way that she said it that caused him to flush beneath his glossy feathers. Hopefully she wouldn't take notice of this, but rather a look of sattisfaction with the whole agenda - onput bravery to further the praise she lavished upon him. "I thank you, my dear Trea. We will go on, into the dark, and I will protect you!" As is custom to drama queens (or kind in this case), he struck a rather dramatic pose of the utmost valor before slipping from this assumed stance and making his way towards the darkness. It wouldn't be long before it consumed them entirely...

She smiled as he reminded her that he would be the knight in shining armor (or feathers) for their journey. She stopped for a moment and slipped out of her sweater, tossing it onthe floor behind their fort. "It is to warm in here for sweaters, to me at least." She smiled thinking of how he had called her 'dear'. She slipped her arm around his as she let him take lead. Her jean pants scrapping the floor slightly. Under her sweater she wore a light green t-shirt. "Do you think we will find anything really neat in here?" She asked lightly as her night vision came into play.

The hall was indeed very dark, and very long. Carl could not see nearly as well as Trea, in such conditions, so it was unconciously that he held a little tighter to her. "I-I'm not sthure..." was all he could offer to her query. The only thing he was certain of was that the light behind them was beginning to fade, and the sound of his claws dragging the floorboards and wall were the only things he knew for certain. Another sound came shortly after their conversation had quieted - the sound of metal hitting keratin claw. A doorknob, if one was to be precise. Carl paused at it, twisted a bit, before looking at Trea, his look said it all. Where they to go in, or go farther along the corridor?

Trea looked up and searched as best she could over the door. Her paws feeling along it to see if it was marked in anyway. It seemed to be the same smooth wood that the rest of the hall was. She nodded when she looked over to Carl. "I can't reach the handle but I think we should go in this one. I mean, why not?"

"Alright. Hold on!" Without any further hint as to what he was doing, his arms slipped around Treas' waist and beneath the hinge of her knee. My goodness, such a light little girl! Carl lifted her with ease, up to the knob so that she could do the honor of opening the passage.

Trea looked down at Carl and giggled as she was picked up. Her stomache did a small 'flip' at first. She slowly reached up to the door knob. It was an intricate looking knob, nearly tarnished from being brass. Upon touching it she could feel it was almost warm with its own life. She squeezed her eyes shut and pushed the door open as she heard the click of the latch slide back and the hinges indicate the door was moving to allow them passage.

The sound was menacing. Shivers ran up Carls' spine as the hinges made known their displeasure with being moved, but he moved not. He refused to move out of discomfort with that sound. Instead, he put Trea down and took her hand, wordlessly making to guide his dear Moose into the great and dark unknown. They probably wouldn't stop for a few minutes more into the passage, but as one with sharp eyes (like Treas) could see, they had stumbled into some sort of storage chamber...

Trea momentarily tightened her grip on Carl's arm. Her eyes darting around and her ears twitching like radars. "Wait, don't move for a minute. You are going to walk into something." She turned around and pulled shut the door. It clicked into place and then she moved her hand along the wall for a switch, only to find none. "You can't make any type of light can you? I know I can't.. I can sneak, and change sounds. That is about all. Oh and I can see pretty well in the dark."

He shook his head and stood stock still as he attempted to gain his bearings. "I can't...I'm able to lift really heavy objects and cut through solid ones, but I can't see a thing...Not that it matters. I'm fine, with you next to me!" He didn't like admitting he was vulnerable in the dark, but at least SHE could see well enough to prevent him from looking like too much of an idiot. Footclaws tapped on the floor below them, stretching out ahead to feel his way along as he began moving forwards. "Think there's anything interesting in here?"

"Hrmmm..." She lifted her nose up and sniffed a bit, then looked around. "Probably. I am sure we can find a way to create light soon enough if we don't find a hanging switch." She peered around and lightly took his hand to lead him along. After walking a bit she (and Carl probably could too) see from behind a bunch of boxes and a bird cage came a sliver of pale light. "Carl! Where do you think that light is from... mybe it is just a hole outside the shop... What if it was more though?"
((iris said the doors seem to create rooms based off those entering, perhaps a kingdom for our royals?))

(( Let's go for it! xd TO NARNIA! ))
Carl didn't answer, but instead moved forwards to push away the box and set asside the cage for a far weaker bird than he. The light was a magnificent thing...Motes of platinum nothing lazily drifted through the scattered prism, their prescence only seeming to add to the wonder that lay just beyond the length of their reach. The silvery glow iluminated his features as he walked further into the light, and as he met the back wall - he placed a hand upon the smooth grain, almost willing it to reveal the source of this power. Then, as smoothly as he'd placed his hand on the wood, it seemed to consume him entirely - leaving Trea quite on her own, either to follow or flee from this place.

Trea watched in fasination as Carl moved the objects out of their way and bravely touched the wall. She squinted in the bright light and had to shield her eyes still as she watch Carl who was, in one instant there and gone! Her eyes widened and her heart beat faster. "CARL!!!" She feared what may have happened to him and couldn't leave him to his own devices. What if he had to sneak out of something! He could never do that with out her and so without a moment more to lose she approached the wall as well and entered in the same manner as Carl.

The world beyond the wood was not of their own. Rather, Carl stood upon the lush, green earth with a new appearance to the one he'd come so far with. No longer wa he addored with a hoodie and pants, but rather garbed in armor that in every way accentuated his masculine frame and lethal extensions. Gold and silver wove itself around his claws, laying blade to edge whilst the armor it connected to proved purely for defense against some medieval beast. It parter just above the breast to reveal sapphire silk and the feathered v-line of his cut, this mimiced elsewhere as a heavy velvet cape of the same hue dangled behind. The finishing touches were simply gemstones, set in a circlet upon his brow, and to his glory they gave their worth - to the King.
A smile traced his features and he bowed low to Trea.

It took Trea a few moments to stop admiring Carl and he shiney new armor. She smiled and curtsied back to him. She took time to look at her outfit as well. It was a wonderfull dark blue dress, trimmed in golds and silver to match Carl. The ends of the sleeves were long and flowing. The dress itself was simple in manner but the colors and materials, along with gem stones made it something unique and fit to stand by the side of a king. Her hair had been curled slightly and atop her head sat a circlet as well, though it was more extravagent than Carl's in its girly way.
She soon looked away at the kingdom before them and a large smile crossed her face.
"I must say, my dearest Carl," In her most queenly voice that she could put on, "I rather like it here."
