That's a tall order. xp

While the Lupin anime, in theory, is simple, it's actually complicated.
Mainly because there are so many 'versions' or even 'visions' of Lupin.

So, specifics like:

-Is Lupin really in love with Fujiko?
-How does Fujiko feel?
-What is Goemon's sword made of?
-Why does Jigen wear a hat?
-What are the dynamics between the gang?

While there are basics that the Lupin universe does adhere to, sometimes the director throws in a monkey wrench.
Like adding another girl aside from Fujiko. Then the movie has to decide weather Lupin is going to ignore this girl, be crazy about her, or is he going to be torn betwixt Fujiko or Girl B?

The fun thing about the Lupin univerese is that after you watch alot of the material, you can make your own judgement on the 'real' Lupin, and most conclusions cannot really be called wrong.

(Unless you start getting really weird...but let's not go there right now.)

Anything specific you want anwsered?

Figure of speech. The reason being is that whenever someone calls up Monkey Punch to do a movie, all he tells them is "Make it good."
That's alot of room to work with.

Every direction has their own "Twist" on Lupin, so every movie is a bit different. And not just Lupin.
When the story focuses on Jigen or Goemon or anyone else, their a little different.
This is probably because Monkey Punch has never given a backstory for any of the charatcers, so has story that has to do with the past, or even how they act this way or why they act in a certain way in up to the individual to decide.

But the basics are this:

Lupin-Genius thief. If he wants it, he'll get it. It has to be hard, worth alot of money and not petty. He doesn't go around stealing wallets and such.

Jigen-Gunman and Lupin's partner. He always wears a black hat, and is pretty much an expert in any firearm. He preffers to stay out of the lime light.

Goemon-A samurai. His katana can cut through anything (though that's open to debate.) He thinks most things he cuts are benetah him. Has an undefined relationship with Fujiko. (mostly, he ignores her. Though, he once introduced her as his girlfriend. Only once, though. Again, open to debate.)

Fujiko-Femme Fatale is Fujiko to a 'T'.
Probably the most 'evil' character, who really only cares about money. Constantly uses her beauty to trick men into giving her cash and jewels. Also constantly tricks Lupin into trusting her. Unknown whether she actually likes him for real.

Zenigata-Obsessed InterPol Inspector. Only goal in life is to capture Lupin. That's all he really lives for. Has no personal life to speak of. xp
