((For the sake of everyone's sanity, assume that this is either right before the Mufasa mini-plot or before Tufani could possibly get word of it.))  Nightfall was just starting to settle over the Pridelands, and Tufani found herself patrolling the borders. It wasn't as if she had been sent there as a scout; it wasn't even as if she had any hunting to do that evening. She was just...walking. And the grass felt good beneath her feet. She hadn't been wandering just to wander for some time. It almost made her feel like a cub again, though she knew that her cubhood was disappearing forever. It was only a matter of time before she'd reach her full size. To be an adult...it scared her a little. She privately wondered how many more nights of aimless wandering the Pridelands she had left.
The black lioness paused in her pace for a moment to gauge her surroundings, red eyes scanning the horizon for signs of fellow pride members, or whatever else might be roaming the Savannah at that hour.

It hadn't been long untill another lioness popped her head in front of the strange looking lioness that was turned around. She had not noticed that fact that she was talking so fast. "Hello, my name is Karanga, Kara for short. I'm super excited to see someone else out in the..." Something had cut her off. *Whisp, whisp* It had been a helpless little bug tring to say something.

Tufani jumped back a bit in surprise. How had she not noticed the other lioness? She must have been more in need of this break than she originally suspected...then again, it was difficult to see in the dark sometimes, even for someone that was used to the night. The other lioness must have been sitting still until this point. Anyway, the lioness seemed friendly enough. "Hiya, Karanga, Kara for short. My name's Tufani!" After being distracted by the strange bug for a moment, she added, "There are a lot more lions here in the Pridelands. I take it you're a wanderer who has never been here before?"
