Tell Me why do you think that halloween rocks?
I think it rocks because it is so mischevious and it is the only night where you can go around and nobody cares who you are they just care about what you do....mwhahaha ponder what that says

My other reasons (starting with most favorite) include:
~ dressing up dramallama
~ all the horror stuff twisted
~ free candy! blaugh

The candy, most definitally the candy, specially when the neighbors are nice enough to make up goodie bags for the neighborhood kids n give them out with good stuff

Halloween is the best because you can be someone else for an entire day and there's nothign anyone can do or say to bring you down.
It also rocks because it was based on an ancient feast called "All Hallow's eve" which was the one night of the year when the dead can come back to life. No, I didn't learn that off Hocus Pocus. I did research and a report on Halloween for a school project.

 Halloween is the best time of year. All the spooky customes, hay rides, haunted houses and lots of candy. We go all out here with our own private haunted house and we are the best house on the block. There is no better holiday than Halloween.

I agree with all the good, classic points - candy, dress-up times, pumpkin carving, getting to watch Nightmare Before Christmas over and over again, etc.
I think what makes Halloween my v ery favorite holiday, and time of the year, really, is there is just this crispness in the air that indicates change is coming. Everything smells of that sweet, rotting leaves smell and everything just feels really exciting. And on Halloween night it really does feel like the veil between worlds is at the very weakest it could be and anything might happen.

Halloween rocks because of all the ghouls, creepy crawlies, and all the spookiness that comes with it. Halloween really rocks for me cause it's the one time of year were nothing goes wrong and people leave me in peace with my movies, music, and my costumes.

Oh yeah. Halloween rocks because of being able to dress up in awesome costumes and pretend to be someone else.
