Start the game with wxwidgets and to get more elements to play with go File>Load Physics and pick one of those text documents.. The lynx one is awesome as it has a ton of elements to muck around with.
Also to stop the stuff falling from the top, Options and then untick sources.
Theres very little going on there as that is all basic stuff.. dirt.. with seeds + water = crazy plants + fire = death + volcanoe = lava/magma dirt = lots of heat + metal + water in metal = steam.
This is also pretty simple.. basically I made a little metal and put a heat source under it, attached a heat converter to the metal and then wire to the heat converter then I attached the wire to a stove and used that to heat another bit of metal with water in it to make steam.
Its more of a simulator than a game really but it's still fun because of all the little things you can do and make.
