Personal File:
Name: Yuchiro Kamigata
Age: 19 {Though sometimes he doesn't act his age}
Gender: Male
Physical Description: • Hair: Very loud, pink, spiky, and not at all brushed. Well, it looks that way at least. • Eyes: Gray • Skin: Dark Caucasion • Body Build: Not skeletally thin, but enough so that his doctor sometimes worries about his weight. • Clothing: He's usually wearing his general ensemble of 'rave' clothes. His favorite set of those being a black-belted top with net shirt, beat-up jeans, a strange pair of shoes, and a dog-collar. • Belongings/Accessories: He has a few. One small stuffed Growlithe plushie he got from his brother, one switchblade, and one pendant from his mother which he never wears.
Personality: • Before: Sweet, Crazy, a little Lonely, Loony, and a tidbit Ego-centric [like all teenage males] • After: [Remains to be seen]
History: The youngest in a family of three [father, brother, and himself], Yuchiro was born and raised in Pallet Town, very similar to the hometown hero there, Ash Ketchum. He didn't have many friends back then, and his family lost the only woman of the household when both boys were very young. His father, a member of the police department of Pallet Town, kept Arcanine, Houndoom, and Mightyena around the house for protection. He often took these pokemon to work with him, or left them to guard his sons. Yuchiro spent a lot of time outside. He befriended many of the wild pokemon - including a Growlithe, whom he named Sage. That Growlithe became his first pokemon, and was very poorly looked upon by Yuchiro's brother [first pokemon a mew that a friend gave him]. His brother believed that Yuchiro was weak, and thus ignored him completely. Instead of having the desired effect of depressing Yuchi, this made him strive even harder to be up to par with his older brother. When the man left home, Yuchiro was alone with his father, left to his studies [which he completely slacked off on].
When Yuchiro finally left home, someone from Pallet Town had caught Sage in their pokemen pens, and shot and killed the poor Growlithe. Devastated, Yuchi set off to find - and eventually join - Team Rocket. After crossing paths with many of its members, he was finally accepted into Rocket by Giovanni himself, and given a new Growlithe to replace the one he lost. At this time, Yuchiro was thirteen years old. As a member of Team Rocket, Yuchi was pretty much left to his own devices. He became something of an anti-hero, robbing undeserving people of their pokemon, and delivering them to Giovanni, as part of his contract. Jessie and James - two of Team Rocket's lead agents at the time - posed something of an obstacle for young Yuchiro, and he was forced to battle them numerous times [as James and he sort of hated each other]. Eventually, however, he won three matches against them, and was [grudgingly] granted their respect. He traveled with them for a while, fufilling his own vendetta against pokemon abuse. After he turned sixteen, he left Jessie and James, and persued his own goals in his own way, having amassed quite the collection of pokemon [ones that Giovanni didn't want]. His main team consisted of canine-types, feline types, and fox-like types,
and he was quite efficient with them. However, he grew cocky and careless, and one by one, each of his beloved team were killed by trainers, accidents, or other Team Rocket members. As he could not battle with no pokemon, he set off to see what he could make of himself.
After several years of wandering, he finally ended up lost at sea with a Persian, an Espeon, and a Growlithe to keep him company. He believed that he was going to die, but instead washed up onto an island that he was sure was quite deserted. He lay there day and night, unconscious, his pokemon trying to keep him warm and comfortable. When he finally woke, his injuries proved to be too severe for him to move, and so he remained by the sea, building fires from the wood his Growlithe brought, and eating the food that all of his pokemon gathered for him. His consciousness kept fading in and out, and he truly thought that he was going to die alone, that this island was deserted [in his brief moments of mental clarity].
Boy was HE in for a surprise...

#059 - Arcanine Type: Fire
Ability: Flash Fire or Intimidate
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 342 lbs.
Pokemon Info: Arcanine's species is classified as "Legendary" in the Pokédex, although the word is probably used in an entirely different context than with the actual Legendary Pokémon. It is theorized, however, that Arcanine was one of the original three Legendary Pokémon, the other two being Zapdos and Articuno. It is thought the game designers decided to make all three legendary pokémon "birds" and so they replaced Arcanines status as the legendary fire Pokémon with Moltres. They did, however, give it the label of "Legendary Pokémon" (albeit with a lowercase L)
In the Pokémon world, Arcanine is one of the most admirable Pokémon. Many things contribute to this favorable impression: despite its imposing size, Arcanine is very agile and graceful. It can run as much as 6,200 miles (almost 10,000 kilometres) within 24 hours, all the while looking almost as if it is flying. As is the case with most Fire-type Pokémon, the fire burning within its body gives it strength. Its mane is said to be an object of exquisite beauty, and even its bark is described as "majestic" and "awe-inspiring".
Appearence: Because Arcanine is considered a legendary beast (albeit with a small "l"), and is a cross of a few mythical, magical beings (most notably the dragon and the Chinese fu dog), its name is most likely a portmanteau of the words "arcane" (in the sense of "mystical") and "canine." In English translation, Arcanine was originally going to be called Blaze.
Evolves from Growlithe: As a puppy Pokémon, Growlithe is known for displaying many of the talents for which dogs (and puppies) are known. Growlithe is a very sweet Pokémon, and it loves whoever owns it. To this end, Growlithe will bark angrily at, and even bite, anyone who tries to hurt its Trainer. Growlithe has keen senses of smell and hearing, and is intelligent. It is also quite rare and hard to catch, due to its Roar attack.
Despite being very playful, as has been shown in the Pokémon Animé, they can also be quite fierce.
Growlithe's name is derived from the words growl, because it growls at its enemies, and lithe, which refers to its readily bent posture before it attacks them. It's name in the beta version was "Flamie"
