This episode by far is the most missunderstood in my opinion. It apreas to be simple and many dont look into it as much as they should. I belive it deals out the most questions of any other episode. What really puzzles me is the blast doors:
the blastdoors, or the lockdown. has to be the biggest question of all. It obviosly isnt used for the protection of the inhabitants of the Swan Hatch if the button isnt pushed since after the button isnt pushed the doors stay in place.
could the blast doors be for an even bigger threat?
MAny say that the blast doors are souly used to keep the Hatch inhabitants in so to not expose the deliverer of the food and supplies. but i dont agree. there are 2 entrences to the hatch. The large doors and Locks hatch door. if the blast doors were only to keep people in then it would be much cheaper and time affective to have doors cover the entrences.
Plus if on the wrong side of the blast doors its easy to enter and exit the hatch making whoever or whatever dropped of the food exposed. (Charlie and Eko leaving the hatch when blast doors are down)
As well what would be the need for dharma to hide themselves from fellow dharma workers?
any thoughts?
