sorry if my spellings bad, i'm a bit out of it... but whatever...
I GOT A BLUE TOTALLY ROCKING ACCOUSTIC BASS! i don't know what type yet, its a gift from my dad and thats all he told me... sweatdrop it's my graduating from junior high and getting into high school gift!

Never played one, but I'd imagine it'd sound similar to a regular bass, but with more of a trebble-ey tone.

it arrives soon. i havn't had a chance to play it yet... my fingers are itchin' to play it. it should sound like an accustic gitar that can be plugged into an amp! whee whee whee

Nice, I have a cheap little takamine acoustic bass. It has a bit of a Double bass tone to it, a small, fretted, double is a good way to describe it. But that's sorta basically what it is. My biggest gripe with it is that it doesn't project, any more than two soft playing acoustic guitars, and I might as well not play at all.

Yeah! Acoustic bass! I haven't met anyone else who plays acoustic bass. I thought I was the only one in the guild! Acoustic basses rock. I have to confess that I only have a Freshman Acoustic bass as I decided that electric basses were worth more money. So most of my cash has gone on electrics. But acoustics offer so much punch without needing to piddle about with amps! They're quite good for playing Iron Maiden on.

Its not supposed to tune to an acoustics octave you know razz Why would you send it back? Its obviously not the bass's fault, its the strings/owners fault! (I would say mostly owners if you went an octave higher)
