you loved?
My desire is to be a writer, particularly TV, and I know it's a difficult industry, but right now I'm overcome with the desire to write something brilliant and witty, more than anything else in the world.
Except, like Mark and Roger (are said to be by some people), I'm not particularly talented. I'd wind up penniless. I'd probably settle down in a career as a teacher.

I am an aspiring actress/singer. It's my dream to move to NYC and to kind of live the "struggling actor" life and then make it big on Broadway. Right now I can safely say I'd live in a crappy little apartment and take an ok paying job just to try to get my name out there.

It's my dream to move to Chicago and try to make it on Broadway. I know I probably won't make it very far...but it's worth a shot. If all else phails, I'm going to make that metal/rock band.
I would eat dirt and live in a carboard box, if I knew I could do what I've always wanted to do.

Huh... I don't know. I don't have something I'm really, really sure about doing, but I have been getting a lot into play writing lately...
If it was something I really loved and could make money off of, I'd do it. I mean... it's not like it would hurt me to eat less (I'm a fattie!) and I don't really need a lot to survive... my problem would end up being my computer, but I could take that with me, I guess.
So, yes. Yes, I would.

You sound so much like me, except for that I'd rather write books than for TV. Or I'd like to play Mimi in RENT. Needless to say, that's never going to happen.

Like every other person, I too am an aspiring threatre person. Except I'm all about technical theatre. But yeah, I'm in the process of applying to college and audition for theatre programs and stuff... and I'm gonna be a starving artists and it's gonna be fantastic.
But you know what depresses me? Those down-syndrome awarness commercials that say that you're child is more likely to have down-syndrome than be on Broadway. I'm like DEAR DOWNS-SYNDROME AWARENESS PEOPLE. YOU HAVE CRUSHED MY DREAMS. LOVE, LIZ.
It's kinda sad.

Ever seen I was little I've always liked the dramatics. My dream job would be in musical theatre. I have said that I wouldn't mind being a poor New Yorker for my chance to hit Broadway, but I don't know... a lot of people don't think it'll happen for me.

Personally... well, I'd live the most frugal lifestyle possible to succeed in the areas of my dreams, but I'm the sort who'd be scrimping and pinching while their bank account fills up, should they fail in the long run.
Fortunately I want to be pretty much a million and thirteen things, so I have a lot of, ehm. Fallbacks? .__o;; And I don't foresee bankruptcy happening as such, because I like to think I'm pretty talented at these million and thirteen things. xd

I love to act and I love to sing. I think I can safely say I am pretty good at stage-acting, it's the camera kind i'm gawd-awful at. But despite my love for singing, I am tone-deaf. cry Stage-acting is hard to make it big in if you're not of Broadway. And I honestly cannot think of anything else I am good at other than memorizing songs, landyards, and air hockey. not much you can make a living out of there. I guess I'll be stuck stuffing grochery bags at Safeway or something...
... and i'm pretty sure this is the worst possible time to be writing this. I am in a very self-doubting mood.

My dream has always been to become a best selling author, though as a career I'm going for English Professor. If I didn't have that fallback though, sure, I'd stay crammed away in a shoddy little apartment with my typewriter (k, so no one uses typewriters anymore...laptop?) and work at Wal-Mart to pinch and scrape and save until I get that darn book written. Wal-Mart's where I currently work while I'm going to school...so that's why I said it...heh...but yeah. I could do a lot if I thought I'd make it big as an author.

Don't let it get you though. wink Yeah, the point of the coomericial is that you should get your child tested for downs syndrome because they're more likely to have it then you think (they have several other ones like that) and I saw the Broadway one and I was like SNIFFLES. But either way, if I can't get a good job in theatre, I'm going to be a youth minister so... eh, at least I've got something to fall back on. I've kind of decided that if God wanted me to be in theatre, he'll help me succeed, but if was calling me to minstry, I'll fail and get a awesome job as a youth minister. But that's just me xp /End random tangent

i really really really really really want to be an actress, partucularly musical. my dads an actor, so he could probably get me an agent. but that doesnt solve the problem of actually making the audition. i love to sing, and its really what i want to do with my life. if that doesnt work, ill be a writer, or work in graphic design or something... then again, im only 13.... but thats only like 9 years til i can be in wicked/rent.... hey, if rent could stay on for 10 years, 11-20 shouldnt be a problem. if it turns out that im really a terrible tone deaf bad actress.... ill die.
