I haven't played the game, I haven't played any multiplayer, but I've been making custom maps in games for years. I spend so much time on my maps making things perfect, even if it means spending a few minutes just to move something a few pixels. (I'm a perfectionist...but it makes for one hell of a map.)

However most games I've made maps for I've played alot already. This time I just wanted to get right into the map making.

SO...are there any suggestions for a novice map maker? What things are important on multiplayer maps?

Also, I'm looking at the "Mode Requirements". Chaos is pretty self explanatory.

As is Steal the Sample (flag), but is there more to this mode than your basic capture the flag game?

Predator? Looking at the requirements just confuses me more, lol. Could someone explain?

Seek and secure as well. Is it like, um, you go get something then take it to a retrieval station?

Thanks in adavace to anyone that helps. :3

I have no idea. :3

I haven't played it at all yet, lol. My only game experience is testing my map constantly. (You can seemlessly go into your map/back to the editor. It's awesome.)

But there are some fans of the game in this guild, so I'm sure we could get together a party if we wanted to.

Map making on that game is great. I've made numerous maps on the old version. I think I've only done two on this 360 version. Its tough for me to share my maps because I can't create a room with a good connection.

For Predator mode its pretty much one, two, three, or four people who can jump higher, run faster, and kill with two melee attacks against everyone else who is just normal. The normal people have to find a generator and stay next to it for X amount of seconds. When the time runs out, then the normal people win. The predators win after they've killed every nomal person.

For Seek and Secure mode, its pretty much just King of the Hill.

When you put Predator mode into a map, theres a retreival station you can put somewhere in the map also that will let the normal people bing back a few of thier dead buddies. Its kinda helpful, even though some dead buddies come back if you kill a predator. Predators always spawn back, though.

If you satart playing, maybe I could pass you some of my maps. I figure if I make a temporary room for one on one, it can laod up the map to you quickly, then you can just host a room with it or something to that extent.

Haha ya. That's the first glitch I discovered. I quite like it too. Make a volcano, then at the top, make the curser as small as it can get and dig all the way to the bottom of the map. then jump into the volcano xD. Much fun.

I just did it on flat land. :3

It was set at 20 M, then I just held down the Dig button while using the smallest cursor.

Anyway, it took me 8 hours, but I've completed my first map! At least I've got the rough down. I need it to be played on and such...see if people like it. XD
