So, it hadn't been a /very/ long time since Lu had met the white crimson male, and had last seen the white wolf she had been with since a child, but it felt like a lifetime. And during this lifetime, the rugged looking female had seemed to gain an insignificant amount of weight onto her frame. The female no longer wished to hunt, but craved food more than usually. What was this?
Curling up in the little den her and Koin had found one day, the female sighed as her stomach began to upset her. Wha...? Never once had it come to this. Was something wrong with the female wolfess? Was this how all female's felt after one night of pleasure with one they loved.
Mentally growling, the female cried out softly.
Unbearable pain...

Koin trotted back to the den. A large bird was hanging from his maw. Lu has been wanting more food latly, and he didn't complain to get her anything. It was for her after all.
Closing in on the den, he heard a soft cry. His ears flicks and her rushed to Lu's side, dropping the bird near her, before checking to see if she was okay. "Are you okay, Lu?" He asked quietly.

Why is it males asked the stupidest questions whenever something was wrong? "Oh nothing sweetheart, just going through normal pains is all," She growled bitterly. She was hormonal, you can't blame her. At the sight of the bird, however, her mood changed slightly. She didn't want to eat it...she just..
"Ergh!" She cried out as a contraction hit home. "I don't like this." She cried out, obviously in pain.

Koin didn't answer his mate's sarcasticness. He just looked uneasy, thats all.
Though, the scene was ll too familiar. He laid down by her, to confort her. Or atleast. He tried to comfort her.

The comfort was okay, at least she wouldn't be going through this alone. She craned her neck towards him, nuzzling him until the pain began to become more unbearable. It was only a matter of time before the den would be filled with tiny little squals.

It was a matter of time before Lu could finally rest easily. Nuzzling at her side, suckling greedily on the food provided, nine small red, white and dust colored puppies ate. The adult female looked up to the male, her mate, and smiled. "We're parents!" she said happily, yet tiredly at the same time.

"That we are," Koin said, shocked at how many puppies his mate was holding in her once swollen belly. He licked her maw in an almost exited way.
