Chamain Sniffing the ground closely, the male pup could just hear the wind howling. It was late at night. This was after hiding from the vicious hounds who chased after him from stealing at their camp. He was lost, far away from home, looks like he is on his own in the wilds now forever. The wolf was so lost that he completely forgot how his parents even looked like. This meant for sure he won't be going home, instead he would have to live by himself and take care of himself.
Moaning, dark red paws patted the ground gently with each step. Going through the woods, trees passed by, and he thought he saw the same one twice. Probably have, a hawk kept appearing on a tree top, watching him closely, waiting for him to fall and die of hunger, so it can pick at his meat. The thought made Noah shiver a bit, it was also a cold night. Noah got mad at himself for being so stupid and not remembering that he was still so new to the lands, that he could be in a situation like what he is in right now.

Nothing could kill the bright spirits of the bright cyan pup, he was alive, he was in good heath and that is what counted. He had his uncle Trouble..somewhere. His light dusty grey eyes scanned the dark trees looking for something to do, he'd lost the scent of Uncle Trouble. An involuntary shiver shook his form as he looked scanned.
He had no concept of direction making it all the harder to find his traveling companion. His cyan form slipped through the night unnaturally, like a moving tree he bumbled and moved slowly, his right hind leg was paralyzed it and he could not see any harm in that. He dragged his leg and it left a trail in the soft mud.
His ears perked at the moan from another creature and he turned his head from side to side, "hello? Who's out there?" he didn't expect his howl to be heard over the wind, but it was comforting just to yell.

Another's call came through the wind. It kinda stopped the wind from blowing and making noises. "Huh..." He turned towards the voice, confused by whoever it is. He didn't dare to say who he was until he could see the other. Or others if there were more than one. If he was ever going to get killed by another wolf or thing, Noah would definetly not want it to be tonight. Holding his head higher to show he wasn't scared. "Show your self!" He said as he showed his sharp teeth, getting ready to pounce if needed.
His claws digged into the ground, waiting for the approach of the stranger. Just remember what daddy once told you... His father was a great wolf, he always looked up to him. He would tell tales and more to him and his siblings, but now he had no one there to be his role model. Eyeing the darkness, he waited patiently.

Toil moves as swiftly as he possibly could looking around for the other voice, the winds had died down for now and it was quite possible they would start up again, "I'm coming!" he called again in the excitement he had been hitting his legs against low brush and stones, he could not feel it.
He came upon the other wolf, the one he assumed made the sound slowly hoping not to startle the other pup, this pup did not look familiar, but it was possible that Toil could not see in the dark.
"Hi.. I am Toil..?" He smirked looking at the other pup. He sat down on his haunches, ready for anything, but in his heart of hearts he trusted everyone, no one could possibly hate someone else!

Seeing the pup race towards him, Noah relaxed and let his lips cover his teeth. Not sure if wolves' even have lips. Noah smiled, but didn't sit down, and replied. "I'm Noah." He didn't say 'hi' or anything, just that. Now that he was on his own, he was more cautious of anything than ever. This completely changed his personality, before he use to be so free and extreamly friendly. It now seems like he is more serious as a pup.
On the outside, it may seem like he wouldn't be the type to attack but in his head, the blood-colored pup had a million plans if this other was not so safe or if anything jumped out of the dark at them. Noah was an intelligence wolf, he always could think up of plans easily. Even of his intelligence though, he wasn't the type to actually lead a whole pack of wolves. Plus he wasn't really the talkitive type.

Toil /was/ the type to someday lead a pack, and he was going to, he was sure of it. He may be kind and bright spirited but he was a warrior at heart, even with his disability, "Noah is an honorable name." His dusty eyes scanned the blood red creature infront of him.
Uncle Trouble was a bad influence on him he had taught him terrible habits and he could easily ware on another's nerves. He only wanted friends, he saw the lonely life Trouble led and wanted nothing to do with that life, he wanted a pack.
"Where are you from?"
Toil was intelligent and quick, but he still trusted those around him, there was no indication of fear in his voice or his actions.

He smiled and kept his head lifted high. "Thank you." Where he came from? Noah thought over about his answer, how should he answer it. An answer that won't give too much away. but either way he just decided to answer with whatever he had first on his mind. Not like if he was going back to where he came from. "I come from a place that is really unknown. I was deciding to have an adventure of my own but looks like I end up losing my way," nodding before continuing, "I'm not needing to get back."
It was clearly that Noah had decided never to go back home, he was ocne his father's favourite. If he finds out what he has done when they were gone, for sure he was going to be in deep trouble. Probably going to be kicked out anyways. His parents were nice and caring, but strict enough to do such a thing. Noah always had to be careful around them. Now why would he go back since he was free. His father's words were still marked on his brain, never going to forget them.
Senses told Noah that he was going to need what his father once told him. That every wolf is for themself if they have no pack or family to join in. "Where do you come from?" He asked back. Wodnering if this wolf had a story of it's own why he may be alone out here.

"I do hope you can go home, being alone is no fun," he snorted and for a moment thought about putting his face in the mud, it was an impulsive childlike whim, one that Trouble encouraged.
"I was kick out, I cannot move my leg, weaklings die early, and slow the pack," she nodded. There was no hatred in his manner, no disdain for his family, "I am with a friend now, or was, I lost track of him. His name is Trouble, he told me to call him Uncle Trouble," Toil scoffed at the thought of the older male.
"I think adults need to rethink what pressure they put on pups, and let pups be pups," he blinked slowly and then raised his head to look at the sky. It seemed that the sky would open up with rain soon, that the thunderheads would start their terrible racket and that the light would be flashing with the sky's fire.
"We may need to take shelter?"
It really was terrible weather to be wandering, especially at night.

Listening closely to this pup's words, he nodded. "Well I see. I work alone for now, but one day I'm hoping to join a pack." His goal was to be someone that wasn't exaclty the leader, but who would that be. Taking a look up at the sky he saw it coming too. A storm heading their way. "Yes, shelter is needed." Glancing back at Toil, he searched the area for maybe some type of cave or space under tree roots.
It was either they both stay in the same place or they split up and head in different directions. A plan had already come into Noah's head. He smiled. "There is a spot under those tree roots, you can go under there while I go some other place." It was that the shelter was way too small to keep both. Noah's part of the plan was to have the aqua pup take shelter first, then he'll just take his spot under a huge leaf. That was growing right beside the tree Toil would be in. "I'll be by you but under the leaf. That way we can both still chat."
It may seem like the leaf wouldn't hold up the water, but Noah knew it would. Liquid will fall and hit the leaf, the stem is thick enough to hold each droplet, soon the weight of the water will push down the leaf. Causing it to hover over Noah's body. Since the leaf is smooth on the outside, it'll make the small drop of clear liquid slide off. He waited for Toil's approvement before heading to the shelters.

Toil thought the plan over slowly, sitting for a few minutes before speaking, when he thought his tongue poked out from between his bright lips, "Alright, but if you start to get wet we'll trade spots, okay?" A friend, an honest god friend!
Toil moved slowly his leg making a small run in the ground behind him. He was excited and yipped a few times daring the rain to come right then and there.
As he neared the trees his friend pointed at he looked around, "what now?"

Settling down and finding a spot that he can relax in, Noah smiled at the kind thought for Toil to suggest trading spots. "I'm sure I won't get wet." He nodded. Then taking a look up at the dark grey clouds floating quite quickly in their direction. What now? That was good question. He guess they should start talking about stuff, since that is why the reason he chose this certain plan so they can still be in contact. "What happened to your leg?" Asking curiously while glancing down at it. Noah wasn't sure if Toil already mentioned what had happened to it or not.
A rain drop fell from one of the heavy looking clouds and it landed before Noah. It sunk into the ground slowly. Suddenly a few more came down and one had taken place on his nose. Moving backwards slightly, so no more would touch his face. In the corner of his eye, was watching and making sure he didn't go too far that his tail or bottom would stick out under the leaf.

"Nothing happened to it, I was born this way. Weak, I guess. I am not weak though, someday I will be a proud and noble leader!" He puffed up his chest proudly thinking of what someday he would become. His form filled the hole he occupied completely and he looked like a rabbit hiding in a burrow.
"I don't notice it much, I don't know any other way, besides, I cannot feel it, it would be worse if I could," he shuddered to think feeling it each time it gets slammed against a rock or a tree.
"Do you have a large family? Not just a pack, but family?" He wanted to change the subject.

"Born with it..." He said as it kind of echoed in the woods. Never in his whole life had he met a wolf that was born with something like it, that is until now. Clearing his throat, the pup looked at him and had to think for a moment. "Well, I guess you could say I had a large family," looking up as the clouds grew darker and started to pour. He had to raise his voice in order for the pup under the roots to hear. "I had of course a dad and a mom. Then there are my three sisters and my one other brother."
Blinking as a droplet had hit a dry leaf on the ground and bounced up to hit his eye. "I don't remember their names." At that point, the disturbing liquid in his eye had disappeared. "Tell me about your family you had." Looking more serious now, after being hit in the eye, it was not something to smile about afterwards.

"I'd consider that a large family," he paused not sure how to go on, "My mother and father both were strong people, but to our alpha they were weak. I was one out of six to survive, my litter mates were born with worse problems than I did and they died soon after birth. A pup like me is baaaad luck."
His words were all copies of what he had been told, there was no way to explain in any other words. He knew what he was given and he worked with it, he'd been thrown out abbruptly by a superstitious pack.
"Hard lives I guess?"
He shivered and curled up slightly as the rain started to pour harder, this night would be a long one, thank goodness for company.

The words spoken by Toil sounded quite sad. Noah felt bad for his family. "I'm sorry to hear that." He said letting his head drop, his nose touched the ground slightly. "I'm sure one day you'll start a pack that has strong members of any kind." By 'any kind' he meant those who has disabilities such as a missing leg or something like what Toil and his siblings had.
Noah wanted to join a pack that wasn't too harsh. He wanted to be the right hand-commander. Yes, that was it. The words seem to ring in his head as he thought of them. Like if he had completed a puzzle. Being the right hand doesn't exaclty mean leading the pack. It just simply means you have almost what alphas' have but not exactly the same. Although it didn't really matter, since everyone in the pack is equally important, or to Noah it was.
