Probably Hatred's Soul, a leveled item found in an Oblivion dungeon, if I remember rightly. Though, realistically, any Daedric Bow and Daedric Arrows combination would be great. Especially if you enchant the bow with some kind of nasty effect. Like absorb fatigue. Another plus if you load up with poisons. Preferably home-brewed ones. I recommend either damage health or damage fatigue for use with a bow. Especially if your bow absorbs fatigue, then your prey will fall down or stumble.

i've heard of the shadow hunt bow. along with the arrows of withering. these two are the best if you want to watch your enemies suffer. they have alot of enchantments on them. but i haven't been able to find them. i've only ehard of them sorry.

My best guess for the bow itself is damage health, absorb health, or shock damage (Because nords / elves have resistance to cold / fire) enchanted onto a daedric bow.
As for arrows, you'll need a good alchemy skill. Find something with damage health, and throw it on there to doom any enemy it hits. A good poision will make your arrows from lame to deadly.
Though personally, I only use sword and shield... sweatdrop After my block gets to max, I'm switching the shield for a daedric claymore- oh yeah, awesome weapon. (Too bad a stronger weapon I had from another mod magically disappeared along with the corpse of an ally I had...)

Hatred's Soul Level 19+ Weight 12 Health 600 Damage 24 Drain Speed 30 for 45 Fire Damage 35 Charge 4800 Uses 15 Found in Chorrol Oblivion.
Shadowhunt Level 30+ Weight 8 Health 100 Damage 10 Damage Health 20 Damage Magicka 20 Turn Undead 32 Weakness to Poison 20 Charge 9000 Uses 128 Found as a reward for the Brotherhood.
Well, they're both exceptional bows. Hatred's Soul has fewer uses, but does more damage, as well as having a lower charge cost. It also has more Health (durability), but is slightly heavier. The enchantment is what cinches it for me though. It slows your opponent down greatly, which makes it easier to hit them, and coupled with Damage Speed or Weakness to Fire poisons, would be deadly effective.
Also, it can be obtained in its most powerful form MUCH earlier than Shadowhunt. 19 versus 30.

I prefer burden enchantments. If I'm not mistaken, they cost less on a larger scale, and they are potent. Burden poisons are especially good. My favorite enchantment/poison combination is this:
On the bow, I put a hefty burden enchantment.
I like paralyze arrows(I even made a mod with arrows that costed one hundred gold apiece that had a ten second paralysis effect), though they are hard to find.
I like a burden poison, cause it slows them down and fatigues them, if it doesn't stop them dead in their tracks.

A real ma can play his way through the game with nothing but a couple iron bows, a silver longsword, some potions, a few spells and some faily decent armour and amrour tools.
either that or find a deadric bow and Umbra.

Unless you use OOO 1.3+ Yeah. That crap doesn't fly with that mod. Also, enchantment can be excellent given the right circumstances, and many reward items can be copied in more efficient forms with enchantment. I don't remember if Burden is more cost-efficient than Drain Speed, but I found out something interesting. UESPWiki Instead of casting Burden, it is actually cheaper to cast Drain Strength: The base cost of Burden is 0.21, compared to 0.70 for Drain Strength (see Spell Cost to learn how to use base costs). At first glance, Drain Strength looks more expensive. However, dropping Strength by just 1 point increases Encumbrance by 5 points. Burden spells end up being about 2.4 times more expensive than the equivalent Drain Strength spells. Strength reduction also reduces melee attack damage. So conceivably, Drain Speed is also more efficient at slowing your opponent, rather than simply weakening him. I could easily see Drain Strength being the more economic choice, because of having two effects at once, but I am of the type who likes to keep that element of danger, as in they could hit me, but not of I jump around like a friggin' ninja. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to get the effect for spellmaking, unless you're an Orc or have the Orrery. crying
