Wahahaha, Greetings. The sho-chan is back and very much alive and after a bit of discussion, Mie-tanuki and I decided to restart this thread. Hopefully it will be bigger and better than before with more interesting characters and storylines.

::Summary::
In this urbanised land, there is no heaven or so it's inhabitants believe. However divine forces are at work to protect or destroy the souls of humans.
A band of dedicated angels still continue to guard the lost and abused when all others have long forgotten about the world below. Their numbers are few, and their powers greatly weakened, but deep within them lives the power of hope for the survival of human kind.
Meanwhile, the Demonic Plane grows ever stronger on the pain and torment of it's human neighbours. Who will be saved and who will be lost? And will the ancient enemies discover that they have more in common than they think?

::Setting::
The story begins in an inner city, private school. It seems a perfectly normal place but a large demonic aura has been reported and subsequently several messengers have been sent to investigate.

The Highest Triad

Seraphim
The Seraphs are generally accepted to be the highest order of God's Angelic Servants. They are beings of pure light and thought and have direct communication with God. They resonate with the Fire of Love. Their true form are tall creatures with six wings and four heads although they can also adopt a human-like form.

Cherubim
The officers of the Army of the Creator, they are said to have four wings and possess the sacred weapon of the fire sword.

Thrones (Ophanim or Galgallin)
The Ophanim are the chariot of god, their true form being giant wheels of holy energy. Since the war in heaven they have joined forces with the Cherubim as the cavalry of the angelic army.

The Second Triad

The Domininons
These angels are said to "regulate angels' duties" according to Dionysius. They are described as Dominions, Lords, Kuriotetes, or Hashmallim. They have been said to reside in the second heaven, where the celestial letters of the Holy Name reside.

The Virtues
These angels bestow blessings, usually in the form of miracles. They are also known as Malakim, Dunamis, and Tarshishim. They are associated with heroes and instill courage, and are known as "The Brilliant or Shining Ones."

The Powers
The Powers are also known as the Dynamis, the Potentiates, and the Authorities. They are said to be the first angels created by God, and are said to reside along the border between the first and second heavens. Their job is to guard against demons.

The Third Triad

The Principalities
The Principalities are those angels who are in charge of nations and great cities on Earth. Later they became the protectors of religion.

The Archangels
In Jewish and Christian sources, there are seven Archangels, while in the Koran, there are said to be only four - only two are named: Jibril (Gabriel) and Michael. The Jewish and Christian sources differ in who they name as their seven. All agree on Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. The other three are either Metatron, Remiel, Sariel, Anael, Raguel, and Raziel. These angels are the most important intercessionaries between the Creator and humans, and they are in constant battle with the Sons of Darkness.

The Angels
The last order of the hierarchy is that of the Angels. The Hebrew term for angel, mal'akh means "a messenger, while the Sanskrit is Angeres, which becomes the Persian angaros ("courier"), and finally, the Greek angelos. They are intermediaries between God and human mortals.

Lesser Angels
Angels who have not fully grown, these are guardians of simple aspects of nature and human life. They are also refered to as fairies, faeries, fae and pixies in the mortal world.

The Humans

Humans exist in between the angelic and demonic plain and they land is thus considered neutral territory. However humans can often fall pray to rogue demons who live of their pain and torment. In the modern age, humans no longer believe in neither angels nor demons.

The Demons

The Fallen or Sons of Darkness
The original demons who once lived in heaven until they rebelled against the Creator and were punished for all eternity in Hell. Many still retain a form similar to that of angels but can be easily told apart by their black raven-like wings

The Lilin
The children of Lilith, adam’s first wife, and the children Sammuel. These demons possess a much more seductive form and pray on human sexual desire. Both incubi and succubi are part of this group.

Demon Nobility
The condemned souls of humans who have managed to work their way up the Demonic hierarchy.

Demons
Ordinary demons set with the task of punishing condemned souls or tormenting the living.

Age : Ageless but appears to be about twenty years old.

Appearance : He has pale skin with an almost silvery sheen to it. His hair is pure white at its roots and gradually becomes icy blue as it reaches the tips. It reaches past his ankles and is usually worn down and carefully hidden beneath a silver veil that trails upon the floor or loosely wound around his neck when he is alone. He rarely shows his face in public anymore without some kind of hood, veil or covering but his eyes are a deep ocean blue that can look into any soul. He has a regal aquiline nose and high, majestic cheekbones while his lips are thin from lack of smiling. He tends to wear long white robes white silver ornamentation, although for the most part he keeps his clothing fairly simple. When he is among the humans he tends to wear a long white coat with cream coloured jeans and a white shirt. His voice is deep but very quiet and although he doesn’t say much one word from him is more profound than a thousand from his contemporaries. He has four pure white wings of varying sizes that can be hidden at will.
Sexuality : Nobody knows his sexuality as he has never shown any kind of romantic attachment to anyone. The only person he’s ever shown affection for is his twin brother, Agares.
Powers : Abdiel is the angel of Faith. One look into his eyes can reveal all the secrets of your soul. He has the ability to remove all doubt and fear and one touch from him can inspire hope in any soul. Even though he left the order of the Churubim he still has the ability to summon the sword of fire but only uses it’s power at times of greatest need.
Likes : Flowers and birds, he spends most of his time alone reading and careing for his garden. He also has a bit of a soft spot for humans.
Dislikes : Other Angels, all demons excluding his brother.
History : Abdiel was once one of the highest generals of God’s army. He was the first to discover Lucifer’s rebellion and denounced him before the Lord. For this he was raised to the rank of Seraph. However, war was already underway and to his horror, his beloved twin brother had also joined the rebellion. For this he completely removed himself from God’s service and the army and refused to have anymore part in the civil war. However the war was won without him and his brother, Agares was punished along with the other rebelling angels. Abdiel never forgave God for this act and left heaven to live as an outcast on the earth. He has lived for the past four thousand years in willing exile.

Rank : Fallen - Officer of Lucifer’s army.
Appearance : Agares has exactly the same facial features as his brother. However his eyes are a wram brown colour with flecks of red and gold in them if by some mireacle you get close enough to him to look. When he was an angel he was always smiling, but now that smile has become malicious in its appearance. His hair is cropped short for practicality on the battlefield and is black with a few brown highlights in the right light and his skin is more tanned than his brother’s thanks to his rather long stay in Hell. He often wears demonic armour made from iron with elaborate onyx decorations upon it. He has no weaponry as his powers are enough to defend himself. His skin is heavily scarred with war wounds and remnants of when he fell. He once had four wings but two have been severed and the remaining two have turned jet black from his sins.
Powers : While his younger twin could bless those who were faithful, he was granted with the task of displaying God’s wrath before the creation of Hell. He had the ability to cause earthquakes and other natural disasters and smite the unfaithful, but now his powers are greatly weakened and his earth powers are unruly and hard to control. He was so angered at this that his shouts could be heard at the highest throne of angels and on every corner of the earth and subsequently he unwittingly invented profanity.
Sexuality : Gay, very much so.
Likes : Smiting, throwing rocks at furry animals, raving, sex, rock and roll, whatever sin comes his way.
Dislikes : Angels, humans, morons, the cold, bright lights.
History : Agares was always a bit of a wayward angel, endowed with the task of smiting the heretics, gave him a particularly wild mindset but he soon began to resent the fact that he was a being created solely to kill. He also began to grow jealous of his brother and God’s blatent favouritism shown towards him. However he soon discovered other angels who felt the same way, namely the highly charismatic and attractive rebel leader, Lucifer. He quickly became part of the insurgency and planned a surprise attack on Heaven. But God had gotten wind of this scheme and the uprising was foiled after a long and bloody battle. He later discovered that is was his own brother who betrayed him, sending him into an even deeper spiral of bitterness and hatred. He has spent the last four thousand years in forced exile in Hell.

Name: Shaun ("God's Gift")
Age: He appears the same as he did at the age of his death - sixteen

Appearance: Shaun's hair is black as ebony. It is long - almost to his waist - and always beautiful. It is usually tied in a braid or in a twist (think Ayame from Fruits Basket). His skin is exceedingly pale - there are rumors it is such because he was "scared to death." The truth of this is unknown, but it's a nice way to poke fun at him. He is quite short - perhaps only 5'3" - and very skinny. He probably weighs about 100lbs. His eyes are jade green with flakes of both gold and blue. Despite his china doll-pale skin, his cheeks are perfectly rosy-pinked and his lips are a deep, seductive cherry red. His large, feathery wings were once pearly white but are now pitch black.
Sexuality: gay - uke
Powers: Despite his exile from Heaven, some of his angelic powers remain. As an angel, he was a Virtue. He still has the power to grant minor wishes and kindness and sometimes, if he is strong enough, he can grant larger wishes. His gift is his voice, which is now twinned. As an angel, it was always perfectly holy and wonderful - and yet even in Heaven it was a special, etherial and beautiful voice. He has an unnaturally high range (especially for a guy) and was always, somehow, able to connect to every listener with the simplest of tunes. He had the power to understand. Now, as a demon, he can switch his voice from beautiful harmony to shocking discord. It sounds, sometimes, almost as if his throat and mouth had been marred by sharp glass shards. Even his speaking voice is musical and bell-like and addictive. Another aspect of his new demonic powers is that he can, no matter how his voice sounds (angelic or demonic) he can make it the most sensuous, persuasive and lovely voice one has ever heard. One of his new powers is to be able to make parts of his body immaterial so that he can pass through walls or reach through someone's body without them even knowing and then seize their heart. He has the power to hear the truth, no matter what someone says. Thus, he himself cannot lie. He cannot even understand why people lie - or that they themselves cannot hear the truth as he can. As a demon, his persuasive tongue can convince anyone of anything - thus becoming the truth.
Likes: tranquility, music, solitude
Dislikes: liars, theifs, pain
History: He was born human - a special boy with a miraculous voice. He was the son of a childless couple - a preist and his infertile wife. He was named Shaun in love of the Lord. At the age of fifteen, children of his age grew jealous of his beautiful voice. They gave him a sandwich that had glass in it. He ate, unknowing, and his mouth and throat were ravaged. However, it did not kill him. He became immensly depressed, but always beleived in the love of God. When he did die - at age sixteen - it was from sickness. The doctors only thought he had the flu - it was, after all, flu season - and diagnosed him such. but in truth it was a more serious variation on luekimia and he died before he could be given proper treatment. He was delivered to God and given back his beautiful voice that had, in its absence, grown even more beautiful. As a Virtue, he was often on Earth. There he met a demon - a Lilin. Such beautiful romances and promises were made... and he really did feel love. He couldn't help but fall. And when he did, the demon left him. Shaun has never seen the demon again and mourns his loss of both love and angelity. There are rumours that the lilin died later - most likely at the hands of a commarade he cheated.

Hair - Dirty blonde with hot pink ends, usually worn up and hardly ever seen on her shoulders.
Face - Sapphire eyes, usually one is covered up with her bangs, her eyes tend to appear like they're burning through you and you can tell where she had once worn an eyebrow piercing, which was ripped out by her father nearly a year before.
Upper body - Has meat on her bones, not really toned, but not fat; slightly busty; she usually wears printed tees and sweatshirts, but will occasionally wear corset tops.
Lower body - Very toned legs, she usually wears short shorts or skirts to show them off; usually wears black boots varying in size (from ankle height to knee), if she doesn't wear boots, she wears one of her many various-colored converse.
Sexuality: She is bi, but no one in the school knows as she is to herself much of the time.
Likes: Bubble gum (she's almost always seen chewing it), loves to exercise, she bikes/runs/etc. She can outrun just about everyone at the school, but has yet to challenge anyone.
Dislikes: Giving someone everything she's got, with getting nothing in return.
History: Grew up in a small town outside of the city, but moved to the inner city, near her school. she's new to the school this year, just learning the names and faces of her classmates. She's usually submissive as she's learned from home that "she isn't worth people's time" from her father. Her father doesn't physically abuse her but warps her mind to thinking she's worth nothing in other's eyes, no matter who it is. Her mother left her with her father, taking her younger brother only a few years before the move. Her father hoped to find them in the inner-city, so they moved, in his hopes of finding more people to torment.

Like, if he's around an angel or something, he will sense something strange, but he doesn't know that it is an angel. He can also see ghosts.
Likes: peace and quiet, food, milkshakes, small furry animals, music, sleep
Dislikes: sports, vegetables, school, gym, being made fun of,
History: Setsuna has been able to see ghosts and sense odd presences ever since he was little. It first started when his parents divorced. He was five years old at the time, and he began to see strange visions, not all of them pleasant. ...That's really everything worth noting. >_<
