i'm not one of those people, but i think they might think of them as total sellouts now.
even though they're not.

I'm not too sure, but I don't think many will be coming back. It would be good if they did, but..

-laughs- I don't even want to know what they will say. It will either be the pathetic 'total sell outs' or 'i was there from the begining'
I have nothing really against these supposed teenie fans there just kids just getting in to the scene for the most really. I get more annoyed by ex-fans that slag them off for selling out then the new ones that scream 'I LUV U GERALD' (-giggles- sorry but i've met so many new fans that don't know his name!)

I'm not one, but they might not come back, seeing them as now one of those bands that hit the charts and have forgotten their old life.

After Three Cheers came out MCR did get alot of negative critiques from their underground fans, calling them sell outs and what nots.

ya...bullets rocked...but dude so does TCFSR...i dont have the black parade..am having 2nd thoughts on buying....since mcr is fading in my liked bands list...but still!
well..i will never call mcr sellouts...they may have a huge fanbasr nowadays but their just not the type of "sellout" band.
i respect mcr even though am not obssessed anymore...cause..they do their own thing, take no ones s**t and fight the "sellout" word.
i love them for what they do..and change in their style or teenie crowd will not change how i respect them crying

crying cry I became a fan around when Three Cheers was out. I'll always support them until they retire or are no longer a band but I'll still love them. I don't lust after any of the members. I know their names. I'm far from 'teeny' age. (Try 22) I sort of own Bullets. I bought it off of iTunes and when I can afford anything I want, I'm gonna order it.(I'm sort of job less) Own the other two also. Music means more to me then 'Oh that guy in '.....' is hot.' It was there when my some of my friends wanted to use me and drop me.
I can't stand those 'older' fans who still like MCR and treat new fans like crap. I also have a dislike (but don't hate) real teenyboppers but as I always say: "Can't help human nature and being attracted to someone."
Sorry it just bugs me when people do that whole Newer MCR fans fall into the teeny catagory. redface

very true dear...i hate it when they call the new fans teenies...
i was also from the 3 cheers crowd and started listening to the older ones... i wish the "we were first fans" would grow up...
and oh..i think gerard made a statement bout that too.. i dunno the exact words but it kinda went like this:
once that you think your better than the kid who wore his greenday shirt to a concert you are mistaken[i dunno the words...] we all went through going to concerts with a band shirt on...[yadda yadda yadda...i totally forgot]
point is he was talking bout the fans that they are all equal no matter what...ol or new...mcr loves em all! heart crying

Yo.
Yeah, just coz you began being an MCR fan at Three Cheers doesn't mean anything. If you are a fan of MCR at The Black Parade, know the only song released and don't even know the lead singers name, THEN you are a teeny.
Its all about how dedicated you are to them, and how much time and effort you have put into buying the bands' cd's, looking into the bands' backround and going to the bands' gigs. Supporting them in otherwords.
Not just being there coz they are "hot and cool".
Thats a real fan. No matter where you came into the fan-ness.
