Okay, I visited Taiwan last winter and fell in love. Not with a girl, but the country itself. I just love everything about it. I love that everythings open all night, I love how you can walk to a 7-11 from anywhere on the island, i love the dirty texture, i love the friendly people.
I am hoping to move there in 2007. I just graduated with a Bachelors Degree and that will let me get an English teaching job.
Anyway I was just hoping to meet some Taiwanese folks here on Gaia, or just anyone that can appreciate the place as much as me. Please comment!

soumakisa i would like to visit Taiwan someday too.. <3 for the food.. hehehe... Yeah, the food was great. I ate a ton of different noodles and other odd things like chicken hearts, eyes, brains... good stuff! I also thought their western food was well done too.

Niphredil Ithilmir Well, I'm glad that you feel so strongly and positively about Taiwan. I wish you luck and hope you meet lots of gorgeously lovely people =) Haha! Well I think I probably will. I actually decided to start a blog that I will use to explain what I'm doing to prepare for the move to Taiwan.
