She found a house owned by someone to stay in, soon after other anthros began moving in and the company of someone living with her drove her to stay. It was on one of her trips out to avoid the constant company that she met Kasumi.

Helpless the panther waved goodbye to her feeling her heart break while she watched her go. It was three months later that Oberon left the town, she couldnt stand to be there any longer. She vowed to look for Kay when she turned 18. Oberon could remember her birthday still. March 27th

History: At a young age she had a friend, though she was never very stable due to her father and step mom who were abusive. Though she always would talkto Kanami no matter how upset she was. Through the years they stayed together through everything and helped eachother over rough patches. Though Kanami soon realised that she couldnt save her friend from everything. She was supposed to meet her friend on the weekend when she was 11, but when she got there she saw a scene no 11 year old should see. She wasnt sure weather her friend had been killed of if she had killed herself because they hadnt talked all week so she knew nothing of what she was thinking. All Kanami could do was turn and run.
