Jeevita had fallen asleep next to the brown basket she'd adopted. Still wondering what lied inside. She smiled as she slept. The day before she had a couple names in mind. If it were a girl Nalani. If it turned out to be a boy, Nongwa.
Wakeing up slightly to see the sun was slowly coming up in the distance. Still dark, but light enough to see most everything. Sun raises were most wonderful. She smiled and looked down at the basket. It'd been a week since she'd gotten the basket. She wondered how much longer it'd take for the little one to come out. She nuzzled it softly.
** Starting back right when the basket opened. ^^ **

A light blue butterfly landed on the edge of the basket, taking a rest after a long journey, not knowing that inside lay a sleeping foal. A couple of minutes passed by and a yawn could be heard coming from within the brownish basket. It shook a bit when suddenly a tail popped out from the side. A tiny muzzle followed afterwards. The creature shot back inside as the butterfly, which had rested upon the basket, landed on the its nostril.

Jeevita watched the butterfly land on the basket like so many others had. Though this time it was much different. A small tail poped out of the basket. Though, the tail wasn't like hers at all. It was much like a Uni tail. Could this small foal be a Unicorn? She took a deep breath and held it in.
She then noticed the tail's color. Brown with black stripes. How strange. She hadn't seen anything with stripes like that. Then when she looked at the basket more. A small whiteish-brown muzzle poked out. Is it really the time for the little one to come out? She let her beath go in a sigh. Her ears were straight up with curiousity. This was strange, though, exciting.

After a few more minutes the little creature slowly lifted its muzzle out again and snorted. It took a deep breath, taking in the smells from its surroundings. Suddenly a hoof came out and off went the top of the basket. A tiny horn rose up from inside and two light blue eyes roamed around, exploring the area. The creature moved to a more comfortable postion and two butterfly wings spread open.

Jeevita couldn't help but stare at the little foal. She looked it over. Wings, butterfly wings. Blue with black. Then she went to the head... Horn? A horn? How interesting. and the tail. So it was a unicorn, or yet an alicorn with different wings. Was this right? Perhaps it was a fluttercorn.
She took a deep breath again. She notice it was a girl. She smiled finally, getting over the shock of how beautiful she was. How could someone leave this one? "Nalani" she said quietly. "Your name is Nalani" she said again. Still quiet, trying not to frighten the young one.

The filly tilted her head and stared at her own tail for a while. She moved it a bit and then playfully attacked it. Her ears flickered at a sound nearby so she turned her head and saw another like her but it looked different. Sitting still in the basket, she whinnied shyly at the stranger. Who was this stranger that was staring at her and why was she there?

Jeevita smiled sweetly at the little one. She apparently didn't know who she was. Jeevita thought that since she was around her sent would have filled the basket, but perhaps it didn't. She nuzzled the little foal gently and smiled.
"Hello, there" She said soothingly. "It's ok, I won't hurt you" she added. Still not wanting to frighten her. She didn't know what to do or expect. Was it going to be like this when she had foals?

She looked at the mare with curiousity and whinnied again. The filly was tired of sitting so she tried to stand. Never before had she used her legs, so it wasn't a surprise when she stood up to walk and tripped over the edge of the basket. Once again she struggled to stand up straight. Slowly lifting her foot, she wobbled around and took another step.

Jeevita smiled and gave a little giggle. How cute. This sure wasn't something she expected. She stood up slowly and went to help her. "It's ok, take your tme." She was careful not to touch the little ones wings. She was much smaller then most foals, but she guessed it was because she was part flutter. Though she was a little bigger then a flutter aswell.
Jeevita nuzzled Nalani lighly, careful not to make her fall over.
