do you think that children should choose their own names , i mean parents choose for you right? right. so what about if we could choose i mean would it cause problems eg. young children giving themselves odd names or could it be kinda cool?

I don't think we should it would be all crappy and the parents would have to call you a fugly name or something and people would choose celebs and then later in life they will be like why the hell didn't I pick a better name.

A quick posts before I leave. I might edit this later~
But~ what age are we talkign about here? Because I'd think everyone would be running around with the same namse... "Waaaa" "GooGoo" and "gaGa" XD
It's an interesting thought~ I guess our names are just one of our first gifts from our parents. :3

I dont necessaraly like my name but you've gotta admit, the names you are given and grow up with, you kinda fit into.
It'll eventually sound like "your name" and it'll be the only one that suits you.
I actually dont like it when other people have my name which is preety funny considering "I dont like my name very much" haha.

Eh, there would be some major identity crisis going on everywhere.
I mean, you have to be a certain age to have the mental capacity to choose a name, or even know what a name is, so you'd have to have a name your parents gave you for at least SOME time, unless every child under a certain age was named "untitled" until they chose their own, lmao. & kids will probably end up changing their name like 1,000 times. It just wouldn't work.

what would we be called until we picked a name? That kid? some guy would be telking to his kid and every kid around him would assume that he was talking to them! Also when i was a bear i used to name everything i owned pooh bear, if I had chosen i would be called pooh bear for the rest of my life, who wants to go through life being called pooh bear?
