What do you think of setting times during the public school day for silent prayer and meditation? I, personally, think that it is stupid and a complete violation of the separation of church and state. It directly affects the students, whereas things having to do with religion like Muslims and whatnot wearing head garments do not directly affect students... unless, of course, they use their head garments [I don't know what they're called] to offend in some way... like... maybe taking them off and stuffing feces in them and then throwing them at people who aren't Muslims. Yeah.

Am I allowed to post something like this? There's, like, no other threads. Or whatever you call them. I don't usually do this. I'm procrastinating. Never take AP Statistics. It will bore you out of your mind. You could just borrow the textbook from a library and then study on your own until the AP test. The class is completely pointless. Don't do it. DON'T DO IT *shakes fist*

I agree whole heartedly!...that's why I refuse to say the God part in the pledge...that's also why my teacher gets me into trouble everyday lol

I have to agree too, I was born into a pagan family and like Chaos I also refused to say the god part. That and substituting goddess is just and extra sylible too many and would make me noticed.

And yes AP statistics is a bore and pointless. But heck that way is called nap time.

haha I haven't stood up for or said the pledge of allegiance for like... 6 years. it's not against the rules to not say it or stand up for it. it's respectful, but that's about it.

But then again, prayer/meditation time is atleast spread out for all religions.
In Britain, we have prayers in assemblies, so count yourselves lucky they atleast don't force you to say a Christian prayer.

I never said any of it. Sure, I'd stand out of respect, but I wouldn't put my hand on my heart and speak.

Hooray for college and not having to do it anymore. cool
