ok... im going to go as mana for halloween and i need suggestions for my hair and clothing... theres a pic of me with the makeup lol i photoshoped it cause i didnt put any white makeup on ( havent baught it yet)..anyways i need suggestions and for those who are cosplaying aswell and need suggestions post them here biggrin me--> and im a 17 yr old boy btw..... just makeing sure people find it hard to tell these days gonk xp

Last year i actually went as mana from a photoshoot in the G&L bible. It was quite amusing seeing people at the mall go : oooooo. People even got me pics with their kids.
some tips:
-Mana has layers in his hair so that when he hairsprays and poofs it, it looks ok. not flat.
-His lips, please dont get that wrong, its a big pet peeve ~_~; his bottom lip is smaller then ur actual lip size and the top is kinda like a M but wider like mcdonalds o_O
-Mana usually wears gloves(to cover his hands cause their kinda manly) so some lace gloves be nice.
-when doing the lips its best to use pencil to outline(so u can fix if u mess up) and then waterproof liquid eyeliner to fill it in. Then put some gloss over it and ur set :]
-His eyes are pretty sharp. So first do it in pencil and then in liquid. The eyeshadow you should start at your crease of the eye and go up and out. Gives the more mana look. Also Fake eyelashes are a must unless you have long eyelashes naturally.
and well you dont have to worry about binding seeing as your male :].

Oh yeah!!~ and his bottom lip usually doesnt connect to the corners of ur mouth. So make sure u stop a little before hand *nods nods* ^^;

So make sure u stop a little before hand *nods nods* ^^; thank you very much!.. i have noticed about his lips... i am familiar also with geisha techniques of white makeup over the lips and just painting on the size you want..since your lips are all white as a base the balck shape will make the lips look what ever shape you made them.... lol...cause my lips are slightly sharper then manas petal lips also!! if you have any pics id really like to see them 3nodding thank you everyone.... im still pondering on weather or not i want the courset thing mana wears

well i wouldnt suggest painting your face white for that just use white powder/foundation. When i saw mana in real life his face isnt barely white at all, he just used some foundation. ^^; thats all.
Also following ur lip lines is an easy way to achieve his. I do have pics i will post them when i find them. ^^; I have wayy too many pics. >_> *camerawhore*

White face paint may not be a very very good idea, since it's difficult to make it look smooth ~ & Mana's pictures are edited a bit to enhance smoothness/degree of pallor
So yeah, I suggest just foundation too if you're already a little pale : DD
I wish I could dress up this year, but in China there's no Halloween gonk

Well, I went as Gara from Merry last year. I haven't the slightest idea who to be this year, but it has to be simple. I could never do someone like Mana. That's WAAAY complicating if you ask me. XD
