anybody have that one guy or girl that just doesn't immediatly fit in with anybody except a few people? Also isn't enthuiastic about doing the band dances, just plays the music?

yes: me, but not by choice.
Im pretty much the only senior, and the majority of the band is freshmen.
They say I scare them. crying
Other than that, I'm pretty well acquinted with the flutes.

That person in our band is me.
I'm the only good musician so that automatically makes me an outcast. And i'm popular and school and i'm a prep and none of them are so yeah. I basically hang out with myself and sometimes one or two other people when I'm in band.

yeh, i was an outcast in middle school because i was the only good player. but sadly the bd never thought to give me much for it. eh, wahtever, the band is falling apart especially since i've left. now in high school band, i have little groups and move around between the cliques in the band. i'm the only asian as well so everyone got sommat to say about that mad .

That was me alot as a freshman.
I'm so shy it took me forever to meet really nice band people...
I should have been in marching band freshman year.
Then my life would have rocked =D

I used to be one, after tour that all changed though. Im a tuba player and you have to make mroe of an effort to talk to people as you arent instantly sitting next to anyone.

Yeah. this new girl at our school is a total goth-person. The band is 100&#xne;rds/preps. She apparently plays clarinet. But doesn't know any of the notes...or how to finger them. Yeah. But she's not in band often. When she is, she sits there and sleeps. Bizarre, bizarre.

I was the odd loner person in band, but that was because I was excited about playing. I rememeber one time on the band bus, I was the only person with a seat to myself. xp
