i just started a long distance relationship with some one i really love and i dont want to see the flame die does any one have any advise???

What I wish to say is that the flame won't die sooner than when you have a ''normal'' relationship. How much you love each other is what matters, and you can make it work if you both want to <33

Some people can do the long distance relationship ...
I need to be able to hold the person I'm with, kiss them goodnight, and be there when things are hard.
I've been dating my girlfriend for nearly two years and have never spent more than 3 nights apart.
I've tired ... and it wasn't for me ... (plus she cheated on me like 50 times but whatev)
So if you're strong enough, love the person enough, and trust them enough and have that in return then I really don't see the problem. wink

You just have to always put in effort. And as long as you trust and love each other then that is what keeps it together. once you start loseing trust it gets harder and harder to stay together. Sorry. this is just from my own experience, after 2 years it started getting shakey and i wasnt able to make the 200 mile trip north to visite as much. and things, so yeah. long story short we are still freinds and thing are good the way they are right now. but I would say that its trust that you have to have to keep together. Good luck, and i wish you happieness.

im in a long-distance relationship too^^ Just love them. That's what I do. I'm gonna try this with my girlfriend, try watching a movie at the same time, and talk about it after (or during if you can phone or use msn). It'll be kinda like going to the movies, lol.

I'm in a long distance relationship.
But it kinda works b/c the both of us are older ( 18 ) and our parents know and mostly support it. 3nodding So we right now we're trying to figure out if I can move up to where my gf lives before she goes to college and I'll just go with her to the same college or w/e. So we're trying to workout the details.
Uw! But I'm seeing her again the day after Christmas to have our own Christmas! 4laugh Its so perfect! heart
