Name: Rory O'Bryn Gender: Male Appearance: -Height: 5' 7'' -Weight: 140lbs -Body: Rory is an accomplished dancer, thusly he is fairly fit. He also has a natural born talent in creating and building ships, therefore his arms are muscled and his hands are fairly calloused from work. His body is also always freezing cold, as if he had been in the cold ocean water for way too long. No matter how hard he tries to get warm, his skin is always freezing. His face, and body also has a blue tint to it, as if he had almost drowned or had been holding his breath for too long, his lips and around his eyes are especially blue. * Best way to describe #1 * #2 * #3 * Annnd #4-Hair: Flame red and kept in a faux Hawk. Example-Eyes: Light grey, as if all the colour had been drained from his eyes. -Accessories: The right side of his bottom lip is pierced. The ring he usualy wears in it is very similar to a fish hook. Personality: -Confident, manipulative and demanding, Rory does all in his power to get what he wants. He is easily frustrated and becomes easily jealous of anyone that has more than he does or is better at anything than him. - But no matter how much of an a*****e he tends to be to others, he is actually very close with his caretaker Morgan. He is very patient and calm around her, and even verbally attacks a person if they mock her or upset her. ( Never physically if Morgan is around) Likes:- Dancing - Building ships - Getting his way - Manipulating people Dislikes:- The ocean, pools, basically any body of water thats more then ankle deep. - Storms - Women ( He dislikes women, but this doesn't mean he's ghey XD; more like he doesn't trust them)- People better than him - People who disrespect Morgan - People in general - Any religion concerning a Gods or Godesses Powers: - Rory doesn't have any known powers. However, when ever Morgan gets upset or becomes depressed, she does notice that it tends to rain, which always makes her happy. - It is noted in his past that he had control of the elements and the art of eloquence, but since he has no memory of his past, and was never given the incentive to try any powers out, he never became aware of them. History:- In his past life, Donn was an accomplished sailor and adventurer. However, his accomplishments had made him arrogant and viciously jealous of any others who did better than himself. - This jealousy and arrogance lead him to even bring his own brother to death. His brother, Ir, had been reaching the island of Ireland much quicker than Donn. Enraged, Donn cursed Ir and not a moment later, Ir's oar broke, knocking him into the ocean where he drowned. -

Wikipedia According to Irish mythology, Donn, or the Dark One, is the Lord of the Dead and father of Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, whom he gave to Aengus Og to be nurtured. Donn is regarded as the father of the Irish race; a position similar to that of Dis Pater and the Gauls, as noted by Julius Caesar. www.loggia.com Donn was the god of the dead in Ireland. In this capacity, his house, Tech Duinn (the "House of Donn" - according to some sources, this island is located to the south-west of the Irish coast), served as a temporary resting place for the dead, before they made the crossing into the Otherworld. Some sources claim that he was one of the Sons of Mil, and therefore part of the group of mythological beings who overcame the Tuatha De Danaan and thereby became the new rulers of Ireland. Other sources, however, suggest that this is a conflation of myths. Whatever the case, there is a distinct story that emerges, and it is generally associated with the god Donn. The legend concerns Donn and Eriu, and is the subject of the next paragraph. According to legend, when Donn and his band of Milesians (the aforementioned Sons of Mil) arrived on the shore of Ireland, they were greeted by the lovely goddess Eriu. She inquired of Donn whether she might have the honor of lending her name to the island that the Milesians planned to conquer. But Donn dismissed her and her request, scorning the goddess. This was a mistake, and Donn was made to pay for it. For as a result, the god of the sea, Manannan Mac Lir, caused a storm to engulf the Milesians, which, in some versions of the story, drowned Donn off the coast of Ireland. This area became his final resting place, and it is where Tech Duinn is said to exist. scns.com Other Names: Donn, Dhonn. Location: Ireland, Wales. Description: Sometimes called a Goddess and sometimes called a God. Ruled over the land of the dead. Rules Over: Control of the elements, eloquence. Timelessmyths.com As the eldest son, Donn was the leader of the expedition into Ireland, but his arrogance made him unpopular with his brothers. Donn had jealously cursed his younger brother, Ir, because his ship was rowing ahead of the rest of the fleet towards Ireland. Immediately, Ir's oar broke, and the young man fell into the sea and drowned. The other brothers were sorrowful over Ir's death that they hoped Donn would not reach and share Ireland, because of his envy. This came true, later. After meeting with the Danann, they agreed to a nine-day truce between them, which Donn was unhappy with. Any attempt to land the ships before the nine days ended, a magical storm would the Danann ships further away from Ireland. Donn's malevolent temper got the best of him at this delay. Eber Donn recklessly declared that if he had his way he would put every Danann men, women and child to death. The Danann druids and kings, hearing this sentiment, send a sudden, violent storm, which destroyed his ship. Two-dozen Milesian warriors and twelve women drowned with Eber Donn. Quote: Seems that when Airi was first creating the Fa'e - do you remember, some of you oldbies, how Anya had to track down the children and touch them with the Talisman to make them real? After doing so, she would bring the babies to their Guardians. Before Airi mastered the art of calling the reborn Fa'e to her, they didn't always appear only in Gaia... and Anya occasionally had to travel very far indeed... The Lost Children are Fa'e who grew up bound to Guardians in other worlds apart from Gaia, completely ignorant of who and what they are, of Airi and Chaos, and of their very nature as Fa'e! These children have grown by now to the age of teenagers, but with Chaos on the prowl over all worlds, they are no longer safe, and it's time to gather them in. Morgan had been simply rummaging through the seaweed in the water near the rocks. Both her arms, up to her shoulders, were soaked from the salty water as she searched for clams and anything else interesting she may happen to come upon. She came to this rock formation often, but hadn't been there for the past few days due to the freak storms and immature hurricanes. These storms had caused some considerable damage and by the looks of it, pulled most of her usual findings way out to sea. She stood with a sigh, wiping her soaked hands on her jeans as she looked out over the formation. Instead of digging through piles of washed up seaweed, she decided to just use her eyes. She had been worn out as it was from clearing all of the debris from her lawn and taking the boards off of her windows. She was actually trying to make up her mind of whether or not to just give up and come back tomorrow after a good night's rest. With a frustrated sigh she turned away and started for home; however, she suddenly heard something. Or at least she figured she had. She turned back toward the rock formation, keeping her eyes strained for whatever noise she had heard. There it was again! A faint crying similar to that of a gull's, but this cry was different. Was it human? Morgan started to follow the sound, pauseing from time to time whenever it stopped. After a few minutes of searching she finally found a bundle of seaweed that she had missed earlier, and wrapped in this seaweed was a baby. With a startled gasp she quickly picked up the child and held him close to her chest. The babe's skin had a deathly chill to it, and its face was blue, as if it had almost drowned or had been holding its breath for too long. Morgan looked around quickly as she untied her sweater from her waist and wrapped the babe inside of it. Perhaps there was a frantic mother searching the shores for this child? Or perhaps there had been a ship wreck and only the child had survived? She instantly looked out to sea, looking for any distress signals or smoke out on the horizon. However, as she had figured, it was no use. If he had come from a ship wreck, it more than likely happened during the storm which ended yesterday. The child began to cry again, and all she could think of doing was to just return home and perhaps look into a missing child's report. But her main concern, as she looked down at the shivering child, was to keep it safe and warm. ~~~~~~~~ After a month of searching through missing child reports and visiting many adoption agencies, Morgan had finally given up hope at finding the child's real parents. It seemed that he had appeared out of no where, maybe to answer her prayers. Although she tells no one, Morgan is unable to bear children. Its runs in her family from time to time, skipping a generation or two, and she had been one of the unfortuneate children to be born with the "defunction." She had always wanted children, and this child seemed to be just what she had been looking for. So she took him in, and named him Rory. ~~~~~~~~ His schooling was easy for him to get into. His teachers never seemed to complain about his schoolwork. The only thing they did complain about would have been his attitude toward the other children and his inability to share with others. Morgan had tried to talk to him about the matter, but no matter how hard she tried or how many video she had him watch about sharing, he didn't seem to understand. So she just let him be. In his spare time he would build, whether it be with legos, food, or even plants, he would build. Most things turned out to be ships that actually floated, no matter what they were made of. Morgan had also put him into a dance class. Most children his age at school would either start river dancing or take up an instrument. He refused to play any type of instrument, and actually took an interest into dancing. However, the dancing he wanted to do, wasn't river dancing. After taking his first class he immediately refused to go anymore because other children in the class were better than he was. Morgan tried to explain that with practice he could become the best, but he merely scoffed and said he wanted to take a different dance class. So she enrolled him in a modern dance class. In no time, he was the top student of the class. He even began to make up his own dance, an odd dance which required the use of chains heavy decorative objects at their ends. Nevertheless, the teacher was thrilled and had him in many shows as the star. Morgan could only assume that this was the cause of his cocky, arrogant attitude from then on.

Uhm, there's really not much to say. You're not very clear about his personality; you could definately go into more detail about it and still leave a lot of room for interpretation. The lack of a history doesn't leave much to critique either, though I certainly understand the concept of "working on it". Just don't leave it empty, k?

Wow, this is really interesting! I like how you explore him as a character beyond the obvious "LORD OF THE DEAD" aspect. Otherwise, everything checks out as being A-ok. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns!
