All right everyone, I’ve been observing the guild for a while now, and I’ve been here for quit some time so I know when the good and the bad is happening, and currently we’re going through a bad moment. I would like to address the fact that we should start using the “General Chit-Chat” subforum more often. If you plan on making an RP, you should make an OOC thread for it first, to show everyone what you’re planning to do, allow others to comment, and most importantly see if people would like to join. Lately we’ve had many RPs open up but never really go anywhere, so I’m going to assume that everyone is currently looking for something different, that we might not be giving them. *Shrugs* And while normally I would like to push this off and say it’s not my responsibility, I really can’t, so I’d like to fix this so everyone can be happy with “Gamer’s Intent” biggrin
ALSO the main focus of this thread is to gain input. I would really appreciate it if everyone could reply to this thread stating anything they’d like to fix. ALSO, please feel free to start some new RPs, following what I said above. All of you have wonderful and greatly appreciated ideas that we, as Crew, would love to hear ^.^

you didnt mention all the dead RP's! There are soooomany RP's i have the last post in from MONTHS ago!! People go post in them!!! I'm really BORED! I get on 8-9 times a day and theres NOTHING to post in! gonk

Look little dude above me, you haven't posted in Year of the Rogue Dragons or in Miles for a while. So stop lecturing others. We all do it (including me).
Ideas/suggestions... I'd suggest more advertising, to get new members. At the moment we don't have many active people.

Thank you both ^.^ for your input, I'll see what I can do. ALSO We'll be creating an Advertisement thread in Guilds sub-forum, so when it's finished I'll post the link in the appropriate thread, or in this one if we don't have one. Well for now I'm just going to try and fix some things on my own, but it'd be nice if Sam could lend us some of his supreme guild control powers...

I see your point Wingless, there are some who were once very active who don't post any more, but we need them too because they integrated themselves into so many RPs, making themselves needed for it to continue. This sucks, and we all know it. If you don't plan to continue posting in an RP for long, why make a character for it, or at least don't make yourself so important. Just keep this in mind when you're going to join an RP.
Also, feel free to invite your RPing pals, make this place your own because I'm the only active mod and I don't mind ^^ I'd love this place to be huge, lively, free, but not get us all banned, so followed the Gaia ToS ^^

Well i'm sort of active, at the moment in only one Rp because of busy times and such! Give me a week... maybee two and i'll create a Rp that i feel everyone should like if they enjoy fantasy and such smile
Ok! I've started some work on it in the "other Rps" forum! Take a look and give comments in the OOc thread!

But yes. I'm here now... so things might be better. I'll make it all better, won't I? twisted
Since we're small still, let's work on quality as of now and not quantity. It's much better to create one or two really good RPs then a bunch of mediocre ones.
Think REALLY HARD before starting another RP. I know I should take this advice as well. You must be certain that we have the time and the practical resources for people to continue it. You might have a wonderful idea, but something that just can't be worked out in practice.
We're still a baby guild, because your wonderful leader sucks... so we all need to work together to achieve a common goal. We all have to be interested and obsessed about something equally, so talk about an idea before posting.

Anyways the gist of it was that Sam was right and wrong. Firstly quality does come before quantity, so as we said make sure people are interested in the RP, make sure you'll stay with it, and put some time into making it. We want your RP to be as fun as you do, so do your best. Secondly, Solidify isn't a bad Captain, we just miss him. LoL
Nextly, our Captain noted how he's making a battle system. Please, don't be afraid to try it, I've known him for awhile and he's a very creative and down to earth kind of person, so I believe that he will come up with somethign easy to use, and still very fun also. But don't worry, we won't restrict you to it ^^ We'll probably just have a RP or two using it, and hopefully it will spread to the other RPs. But you won't "have" to use it if you believe if you believe it won't fit with your RP that well. Just have fun, because we want you to.
