It had been more then a few good weeks since the young hybrid's birth and yet she was already walking and exploring the outside world.
She was always a cries way away from daddy and was never in any danger because of her shyness of the water.
Little Hidaya never went NEAR the stuff unless daddy was there to hold her above the surface.
The tottery little female right now, was exploring the beach and checking out the beautiful array of seashell's and strange little creature's.
Her soft sapphire blue eye's looking over each tiny detail of everything she took in as her pink pelt stuck out quite prominantly on the beach.

Down the shoreline from where the small cub explored, the lean but recovering tidewater female stared affectionately out towards the sea, her frame swallowing up everything she could from the horizon. It was incredible to think that not long ago she had been surrounding her days with nothing but walking. Walking to somewhere that she didn’t know- as far as she managed, until finally, it had brought her to this place. It seemed surreal, watching the waters pulse. They seemed to breathe, like their was a vast and great creature slowly rolling and rolling beneath the endless blue.
She’d run out of land to walk on. Was that possible? And yet it had been.
Kilua peered down towards her leg. The leg was certainly glad for the lack of walking. She still limped when she moved, but it no longer swelled. It was not an angry wound anymore. She’d made some form of piece with her injury, and had at last come to enjoy the time it gave her to sit around and look at the sea.
The prince had been right- it wasn’t anything like a lake.
With a soft yawn, the young lioness stretched, breaking her focus on the sea for a moment to get a look around her. She was supposed to meet with the boy’s parents- something which she was not sure if she was prepared for yet. He had been enthusiastic, but she doubted her appearance would be anything but a burden for the king and queen.
From the far right- she caught view of the small pink cub tousling about. Something strange about it, but she couldn’t place the words at first. Slowly, the pale blue lioness rose to her feet, and cautiously limped towards the child.
“Hi-“ She spoke, a smile crossing about her face.

It had taken a while for the little pink creature to realise the pale blue-gray creature coming toward's her and she blinked softly, tiny ear's perking forward as she gave a curious little mew toward's the lioness.
However, as she got close enough and spoke to her, little Hidaya soon realised she was not a threat.
To a cub, danger was unknown and everything was just there to be a friend.
And with the friendly greeting from the unknown female, the little hybrid, with the baby fur on the back of her neck like a cheetah and the tail of a lion, resonded in like.
"Hello!" She chirped happily.

A delighted smile crossed across her face. She loved children. Not because she was planning on having her own- but because she never really felt comfortable around adults. She adored children because they were simple minded, and they never seemed troubled. That was the kind of life she wanted, somewhere bundled up as the eternal child.
But time had turned Kilua far from a cub. She was a small lioness, but in comparison to the dainty cub she felt like a mountain. Frail still- but already the food she was catching here on the shore was starting to fill in the rough parts of her body with smooth curves.
“Hi there,” She smiled, the small tuft of fur which sprung from her head falling over her left eye. “What are you doing here? Looking for crabs?”

Little Hidaya watched the pretty lioness closely, her colours entrancing the little female as her ear's perked forward curiously.
She was the colour of the sky!
Had she come from the sky? Or fallen from it!
Poor sky lioness!
However, at the question, she perked up and smiled as she inspected the little stones she had earlier.
Gently picking up one, a red, sparkling beach gem that was rough and grain coloured on the bottom.
The little female then smiled up at her as she placed it at her feet.
"I'm looking at beach sparklies, miss sky lioness!"

Kilua flushed, and docked her ear sheepishly. There was something deeply touching in a child’s admiration. She couldn’t imagine what a sky lioness was- but she liked the sound of it. It made her feel lighter just thinking about it.
Politely, the lady lowered her head and peered at the sparkly stone proffered to her by the strange child. She was so tiny! And yet, too large to be a cheetah. Although...Kilua noted she’d never actually met a cheetah up close either. “It is very beautiful- you like collecting sea stones?”
“I hear some monkies can make charms out of them, if you give them some of your stones in exchange.” The idea fascinated her! Lions around here seemed to like to wear the seashells in their manes. “What is your name? I am Kilua-“

((Sorry about the hold up Were ;_; My brain was being horrible to me))
The little darling just cooed softly as her little stone was admired slightly, only for her white tipped ear's to perk forward and listened happily to the older female's word's.
She then nodded happily, tail held up high in the air as it wiggled back and forth happily.
"Yeah! I like to collect little beach sparklies!" She said happily, a smile across her feature's.
She was as optimistic and playful as her mother, but only time would tell what would become of the little sweetie.
But, still...she was incredibly adorable the way she looked at the blue lioness in awe.
The little creature had never met anybody so blue and beautiful, she looked just like the sky.
So she HAD to be a sky lioness!
That must be the only reason!
At the word of monkey's, the little female cocked her head curiously.
Not having moved or travelled before, she hadn't seen anything beyond the beach.
"Wassa monkey?"

Kilua grinned, feeling oddly honored by the child’s adorations. “A monkey is...well...” She paused, and then giggled to herself. “I’ve never seen one either actually. My mother used to say-“ She paused and let it hang. Mother... it felt so long now. “...that they did, I mean. I believe they look like little lions with tiny heads. They live in the jungles. I’ve never seen a jungle myself.”
“But these! These are beautiful sparklers.” She spoke, and eyed them. She had never quite figured the process done to collect them. “How do you know which ones to pick?”

"Ooooohhhhh..." Was her reaction to the description of a monkey, they sounded weird.
Little lions that swung in trees? Sounded like fun, maybe her, mommy and daddy could go to the jungle sometime.
The little female just loved the sound of everything outside the world of the beach, it sounded exciting.
However, the smile grew immensly as Kilua once again commented on the beach sparklies that little Hidaya had found.
Practicly hopping up and down with happiness, she was just a child after all and any attention was good.
"You know they're good when they sparkle like the stars, but have all the colours of the rainbow in the sparkles!"

Kilua’s eyes widened somewhat, and she peered at the stones in interests. “Do they really have all those colors?” She had never really looked so closely at stones before- although for a while they had been some of her only company as she walked along the river that fed into this vast ocean.
She was a cute child, Kilua thought. One day she would like to be in the company of more of them. Not nessisarly her own, but.... perhaps that sea pride held more cubs then its great future king.

The little cub smiled happily at the lioness and nodded at her, she then looked around as she spoke to her new friend.
She couldn't get over this lioness, she was such a nice lady!
"Yeah! I'll find one with your colours if you like miss Sky Lioness!" She exclaimed joyfully, happy eye's looking up at her friend.
She wanted to do something nice for her, something that would show they where friends.
And gifts where a great way.

Kilua’s eyes widened softly. What an adorable child! It made her heart purr. “Yes, please! I would love to see such a pretty shell.” She uttered. The attention was truly quite flattering although she had never experienced it before. To think she would have remained forever without this land of sea! She had not yet had a chance to regret her exodus. There was a kindness here she had not seen before.
With a smile, Kilua followed carefully after the pink cub as she started scouring. “How do you go about looking for them?” She asked, her tail curling. “Do you dig at all?”
