Okay, I'm sure this is probably not in the right place, but I wanted to know.
Do any of you writers have spirit guides that give you ideas? If so, do those ideas become true? I'm asking because the one time I took advice from my "familiar" at the time for an RPG the name I chose I later found out belonged to my spirit guide. (about a week) Now both of the ideas my guide has given me became reality...Is this, like, supposed to happen?

Well, I supose part of their role as a gaurdian/familiar is to help and guide you, so why shouldn't the ideas that they give you turn into reality? (I could however be completely wrong lol)

I can see that, it just freaks me out a little...For example, she suggested that I start on a story about a friend of mine that moved away...In that story she'd move back in two weeks from the start of the story...Then I find out that she's moving back in two weeks....

I believe that our familiars are always there to help us and sometimes see the future. My Bird spirit guide is always helping me and in ways I can't explain somehow lets me know what is going to happen in the future.

well spirit guides are quite mischievious ways. They sometimes will flat out tell you everything there is to know, or they will gradually let you learn about them through things you do or in this case write about. It also has a lot to do with your energy and how the guide is attracted to you. I myself have an angel that is with me all the time, and I honestly don't know all that much about him. Since it sounds like your guide is a muse of sorts, it would seem to make sense that your writing would be influenced by him/her so in a way it is not too odd, and in other ways it could be a very good coincidence. I have a new "class" in The Academy on Angels/Spirit Guides. If you want to learn more about them, then take a look. smile

I suppose, because they're guides it would make sense for it to be true/come true. I wish I did have a familiar or spirit guide... But I don't... maybe someone who does will end up offering much better advice lol.

But I don't... maybe someone who does will end up offering much better advice lol. no familiar or spirit guide?! that cant be true... just doesnt seem right, i mean they are here to help you in your time in need, how ever big or small, they seem to come to me when im feeling lost. anywho, maybe you have meet you familiar or spirit guide and didnt know it. that happen with me in my first familiar... he was a bunbun (rabbit), later on in his i decovered he was my familiar, he was always showing up in my dreams, mostly magickal dreams (longer story), but my point is that they can be all around you and you dont know it. but not to have one... that just cant be right... every witch need help at some point in time... [think]

I've never met my familiar or spirit guide, I think. Perhaps a little off-topic, but how would one get better aquainted with theirs, or meet them? Or perhaps you could direct me towards a thread that discussses this?

WitchyBoy asking if something is normal in a pagan guild is like trying to change a light buld for a faucet. its never gonna happen! What's your point? It doesn't matter how much you try to distance yourself from everything, there still is normality. Some things can happen and some can't. Some things happen often and some don't. Normal - abnormal. I think it's a pretty valid question. Even though most of us are seen as superticious fools.
