Wow, more people like the manga than I thought. Useally it's the other way around. eek
Oh well it's a new poll.
Yes, I do like the manga slightly more than the manga. For the plot mostly, and the characters are expained on much more. Not that the anime doesn't have its merits. I love the episode 25 ending, for one.

I thought the anime was too crazy for it to be a classic anime series... I mean you have to have some sort of plot, right?
Now the manga has everyone that the anime missed out on. Character development and a slightly more structured plot. There also isn't any of that random stuff like Nabeshin and the puchus. Plus there are more characters revealed in the manga such as the 3rd ACROSS girl, Elgala, which makes for a more intriguing look at the Excel Saga world.

All I have to say about you comment is, normally yes, its good to have an actual plot, BUT, this series has Nabeshin in and directing it, therefore, it doesn't have to have a plot because its automatically 3 time cooler than any other anime....

Yeh you're probably right about the coolness that Nabeshin injects into the anime, but why is he there!? Why is Pedro there!? And don't forget Space-Butler!!! Although random, crazy stuff can be a good thing, I definitely prefer the manga because it is more believable to a certain extent. And I think this allows for more depth if you really want to know more about the characters and the world they live in.

I agree that this is one rare instance where the Manga is better than the anime. Althogh in the manga they use too many big words and Ill palazo's mission explanations are even more vauge. But I have to agree with you all, the manga is better.

If thats posible.... Nabeshin rock my socks off all on hims own, they just help anunciate that coolness... lol
