Welcome to the subforum dedicated to music. Have fun and enjoy talking about the bands you've been enjoying lately, although there are some rules.
1. Don't just go into a thread and say that the band "sucks" its rude, and this is suppost to be a positive place I guess. You can say you don't like them, and give reasons, but don't say stuff like "They suck" with out any good reasons. I see this way to much in the real music forum as it is.
2. You can talk about secular bands here, but make sure they atleast have good morals, since you know, this is a Christian guild. Like Learningtobreath said, if you think a part of a secular song has awesome insturmentals, like I believe HORSE The Band does, but they have cussing in there lyrics and stuff, you can tell somebody to listen to it, but just tell them to be careful.
3. Please don't argue about what genre a band is. It makes fights happen, and it starts a lot of fights that I think this guild doesn't need right now.

To go more in depth on rule two. When it comes to instrumentals you can talk about that all you want. If you tell someone to listen to a song because you think it has a great guitar part, just warn them if the lyrics aren't good. So I could say "This Korn song has an awesome drum solo in it." But then I would have to say, "Just be careful because it cusses alot," or something like that.
