Pansexual, omnisexual, and pomosexual (postmodern sexuality) are substitute terms that rather than referring to both or "bi" gender attraction, refer to all or "omni" gender attraction, and are used mainly by those who wish to express acceptance of all gender possibilities including transgender and intersex people, not just two. Pansexuality sometimes includes an attraction for less mainstream sexual activities, such as BDSM.
~referenced from here I was wondering, how many of you actually relate to pansexuality more than bisexuality? I persaonally find that I seem to be more Pansexual than bi...but I get tired of defending pansexuality, or defining it for people.
Before I discovered pansexuality, I was always wondering why I was attracted to androgenous people (mainly feminine looking men and butch girls) rather than a distinguishable man/woman.
How many of you feel this way about your sexuality?

I think I might be pansexual. I'd never even heard of the term before I joined this guild, so I'm not sure. I haven't really thought enough about myself lately to know if I am or not (if that makes much sense)... Besides, I'm happy with the term bisexual for now... smile

Well... I kind of am attracted to girls that dress like guys.. Dyke's or butch's as you call them. but that's it. I'm not really attracted to guys dressing as girls, drag queens , transgenders and the rest of those.

I am definitely pansexual... always have been... I rarely refer to myself as pansexual because its not a term most people know, but I originally learned about pansexuality from Rebecca Walker, the writer... very very fascinating woman, if you ever get the chance to read Black, White, and Jewish, you should check it out...
The way I try to explain the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality is... Rather than being attracted to both sexes, its that it just doesnt matter what their gender is... Pansexuals see people as people rather than... men, women, hermaphrodites... they're all just... people, and they're all beautiful.

Well I don't think all people who are transgendered are really beautiful and some others. Maybe skin deep... but yeah some of them aren't But that's not really a problem if they have a good personality and a huge heart. If i actually met one I'd be scared for the first time though because I don't comprehend it much.

Im curious if I misunderstood that statement, or did you just say something really offensive towards transgendered people....? Cause I'm pretty sure you did, and you shouldn't... Not all people are beautiful, some people are not, because they're not good people etc... but why did you single out transexuals?

Some lesbians are beautiful and some are not, same with gay men, same with everyone, but you referred solely to transgendered people... I'm curious why? Or did it just come out wrong...? Or were you just saying you arent attracted to transgendered people...? There's plenty of variety here, I have plenty of transgendered friends... just wondering what you were saying exactly, I want it to be clear before I get offended, lol.

I definitely identify as pansexual, and have for at least a little while now. I keep having to explain to people just what it is...

there is someone at my school who is transgender who i find really cute, she's a girl trapped in a boy's body.
although i sometimes find other sexes attractive, i still consider myself lesbian because i have never felt the desire to do anything with other sexes, just girls : O

Forgotten, everything I say comes out wrong. I didn't mean to say anything that would offend anyone. I meant it in a different way that I can't explain. confused
