I'm curious. What books are you guys reading? What books do you keep meaning to read, and what books have you been reading--forever! The books you read a million times, the books you can't seem to finish no matter how many times you pick them up. Let me know.
Right now, I'm reading "Don Quixote" by Cervantes, and "Illusion" by Paula Volsky.
I keep *meaning* to read "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" by Stephen King, but I never get around to finishing it. In fact, I own it...but every time I pick it up, I always get distracted or have to go do something--and then forget about it. And that's only one of several books I have that problem with.
And then there are those books I just read over and over again--basically anything by Tamora Pierce, Meg Cabot, Paula Volsky, Terry Pratchett, or Stephen King. Not to mention Stephenie Meyers.

I'm currently reading Salem's Lot by Stephen King and Logan's Run by William F. Nolan. I keep meaning to read Dune but I never seem to get around to it. I don't really have a book I've read more than once because I have over 200 books in my collection (and constantly growing) and I want to read through all of them before I go back and reread ones I've already finished.

I have a loooong list of books I need to read, ranging from the Hunchback of Notre Dame to Eldest. And I keep finding new ones I want to read! It's frustrating sometimes. But it's better than those periods of time where I can't find anything to read. Those are aggravating. At the moment, I'm reading the Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander.

Right now I'm trying to finish Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs and M*A*S*H by Richard Hooker. Both are very awesome.
I usually finish all the books I start, except when they are extremely boring. There are some books that I can't get into, and I try, but I can't do it.

fireandice13 Sabriel, great book so far. Yes! The Abhorsen Trilogy is my favourite! I read all three books in two weeks to the second P.O.D. album and now whenever I listen to that album I freakishly relive ALL the books, Garth Nix is the best! Well, not the best, but he's darn close. I'm at the moment reading Across the Nightengail Floor, Art of War, Soldiers of the Dragon, The Five Rings, The Knights Templars: God's Warriors the Devil's Bankers by Frank Sanello and what is probably the most fun yet serious book I've ever read, The Zombie Survival Guide. My problem is I start a book, get slightly disinterested in it, and start another one. This usually only happens when I have a surplus of time, during my last year in highschool I had over 20 books on the go and finished them all in two months and got mad at my book stores (my neighbor town has over 10 of them) for not having anything good to read. I hope I can get around to finishing my current list rofl before I go nutty with school work, I love history books so much!

I have to say that I really loved Abhorsen Trilogy too! And that I love all of Tamora Pierce's books too! Lately I've been reading a book called Glasswrights' Test by Mindy L. Klasky it is the fourth book in the 'Glasswrights' saga' series. I am also reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

I've been wanting to read the Earthsea Cycle, but I've never gotten around to it. Does anyone have any opinions on Earthsea?
