Tenez's Diary Only he should be posting here. ------------------------------- August 06- Lucian has just been bustling to grow! Maybe it's being able to shout at the video game screen, or the cool fashion sense, or maybe just the want to age like his twin? Either way Lucian has become a child with a bang!
Glückwünsche! Ack, German!? I suppose all those tapes have been doing Lucian good. And your care and attention have brought the little dear to life. :3
Oct 8th- A little bit different from the norm? Dragons, though a little hotheaded at times can be wonderfully sweet companions, and very protective of those they hold dear.

~*Scaley Information*~  Among the oldest of mythological creatures, dragons appear in the traditions of virtually all peoples back to the beginning of time. Because of this widespread adoption, the dragon appears in numerous forms, and local traditions have been created around many of them, crediting this tribe of monsters with many attributes. In their earliest form, dragons were associated with the Great Mother, the water god and the warrior sun god. In these capacities they had the power to be both beneficient and destructive and were all-powerful creatures in the universe. Because of these qualities, dragons assumed the roles taken by Osiris and Set in Egyptian mythology. The dragon's form arose from his particular power of control over the waters of the earth and gave rise to many of the attributes singled out by different peoples as the whole myth developed. They were believed to live at the bottom of the sea, where they guarded vast treasure hoards,very frequently of pearls. Rain clouds and thunder and lightning were believed to be the dragon's breath, hence the fire-breathing monster. The significance of the dragon was its control over the destiny of mankind. As the myth developed in the western world, dragons came to represent the chaos of original matter with the result that with man's awakening conscience a struggle arose, and the created order constantly challenged the dragon's power. This type of dragon was considered by many to be the intermediate stage between a demon and the Devil and as such came into Christian belief. However, in the Eastern world the dragon adopted a rather different significance. He was essentially benevolent, son of heaven, and controlled the watery elements of the universe. The Western type of dragon has been variously described, and individual dragons had their own unique forms. They appeared to be created from parts of various creatures, with the result that in general, they were described as having eagle's feet and wings, lion's forelimbs and head, fish's scales, antelope's horns and a serpentine form of trunk and tail, which occasionally extended to the head. In parts of Africa where the dragon is also considered as an evil power, the monster was believed to be the result of the unnatural union of an eagle and a she-wolf. The destructive powers of the dragon derived from it's fiery breath, which can devastate whole countries. Dragon's eyes also have this fiery red quality, sometimes believed to reflect the treasures they guarded. Later traditions believed that misers would assume the form of dragons by constantly gloating over their treasure. The dragon fears nothing except the elephant with whom he will engage in battle, entwining himself around the elephant and inflicting fatal blows. However, as the elephant finally collapses, his fall crushes the dragon to death. The dragon is the enemy of the sun and the moon, both in Eastern and Western mythology, and is believed to be responsible for eclipses. These occur when the dragon is attempting to swallow either of the heavenly boddies; which accounts for the dragon's appearance in primitive astronomy. In Armenian traditions, the fire and lightning god had powers to stay the dragon's control of the heavens, as could thunderbolts in Macedonian myth. A dead man was thought to become a dragon, while dragons were believed to be the guardians of treasures in burial chambers. Because the dragon was the natural enemy of man, his death became the ultimate goal, consequently there are innumberable battles between gods and dragons, saints and dragons, and in the medieval world, knights and dragons. In Egyptian mythology there is the conflict between Horus and Typhon, in Babylonia, the Chaldean Tiamat was overcome by Marduk. In Greek legends, the dragon fought on the side of the Titans and attacked Athene, who flung him into the heavens, where he became a constellation around the Pole Star. Hercules encountered, and killed the dragon Ladon while fulfilling his eleventh labour. In Scandinavian literature, Beowulf was slain by a dragon. Interesting Info on my little buddy, eh?

Captains Log: October 8 2004 xd
Today I recieved my plush. My little dragon is wonderful. I already feel that good things are to come. Fun times and such. LP was lucky enough to get a tiger, which is my dragons sister so to speak. I have been pondering over a name ever since i had found out that LP and i had won the key. I have only stumbled over one name that i think i like, Lucian. LP told me that it sounds gothic, but i think something like that will fit him well. I hope he will differ from the other velvets personalities. I mean, of course i want him to get along with all the others, but i dont know. Maybe he will grow to be just like me. I just hope to get along with him. For now, he will never leave my side. I figured we would sit and watch some movies and read some books tonight, just to settle down. Well, the popcorn just finished in the microwave, so Lucian and I are going to go start our first movie!

Captains Log: October 9 2004
Today was a short one. I had errands to run so I took Lucian with me. The lil dragon seemed to be enjoying the time together. As Iris said, I know that he was meant for me because I can feel... something when we are together. After the errands I was very worn out so Lucian and I took a nap. When I awoke I began to ponder the markings on his body. I wonder if they will have any significance later in life. But I will push this thought aside unti later times. Until tomarrow...

Captains Log: October 12 2004 xd
The past few days have been very hectic for Lucian and I. We have been running around doing errands and speding good ol quality time together. We went on a hike yesterday, so by the time we had gotten home i was too tired to do anything. So we just past out and went to sleep! xp Also, we started building a toothpick bridge. and we will let you know how that goes when we are done with it. Now though, the show LOST is on so we are going to go watch it together.

*sighs* Things are beginning to seem difficult for me. I was laying in bed the other night and i was thinking if i was the right person to win this key with LP. Its not like i'm not taking care of Lucian, it's just that I am finding myself to busy or side-tracked to ever write in my journal. (Not really... its for irl personal reasons my father )But when i am spending time with Lucian i know we were ment for each other... it sounds wierd but now i dont feel alone anymore. Whenever i go somewhere, i always take Lucian with me. Its a good feeling... I will have to remember to thank Iris and Naraka again next time i get the chance... whenever that maybe...

Boring day today. It rained outside to i sat inside and drew pictures. Since im lacking in the artisitic ability section of my life, i tossed them all out at the end of the night. Lucian and I sat and read "Phantom of the Opera" some more. I also showed him some of the video games i enjoy playing. I dont think he seemed to interested in them, maybe he will be more of an outside type of pet. I think that would be better then being a lazy bum like me xd

Captains Log: October 21 2004
School and work have been clogging up alot of the time i have to spend with Lucian. With Halloween drawing closer I was a mess trying to decide what to have my little buddy go as. At first I thought it would be ironic for him to go as a knight. But then I thought that that might be a little over the edge, *sarcasm* seeing how well dragons and knights got along in their time. *sighs* So since the two of us are reading Phantom of the Opera, and since I have always admired the play, I thought it would be awesome for him to be the Phantom. For now that is the costume that we are sticking with. It may change later but I doubt it. It seems as thought Lucian is showing interest in the book, but that might just be me. I havent been able to bring him to Yume's yet. I do want to get that done before he grows. Because as i have said in earlier entries, i want him to get along with all the other pets, and Trea seems scared alot of the time. When they do grow though, I have a feeling that he will be a bit mishievious when around his sister. So i will have to remind myself to have a talk to LP about it. Anyway, I know its been a while since i last posted. I truely am trying to get it updated daily, but i will try harder to get it done... redface

Wow... I have been slacking a lot when it comes to my journal... I have decided that I will just post one HUGE post summarizing what has happened the past....month? Anyway, Halloween came quickly. Lucian was dressed as The Phantom of The Opera. I went as a Vampire... not to mock Naraka or anything, but I was never very original with my costumes. Anyhow, Lucian and I got a lot of candies and other goodies. I will save them until he is grown. I will have to ready up on if ANY candy is good for a Dragon. With the end of October, Lucian and I began practicing a lot of things. I started reading to him in German. Maybe when he is grown, he will know some of the language. It will be another cool bond we can have... if we have any already. On November 16th, a game that I have been waiting a Loooong time for was available for purchase. Being an outcast as a kid kinda left me with ALOT of free time... So my mom got me a Nintendo and BAM... I was hooked. So anyway I bought my game, which was Half-Life 2, and played it... and played it... and played it... Lucian was right there with me. On my shoulders, between my head wings, looking down from the monitor. After a few days we sensed that the end of the game was near. So I stopped playing for a little. Seeing now that there was nothing for us to do, game wise, I decided to take Lucian to a big store for the first time. We walked around the entire electronic center, looking for an interesting game. My eyes fell upon a game for my Playstation 2 called "Monster Hunter". It seemed kewl so I bought it and took it home. In this game there are dinosaurs that you have to slay and stuff. Well Lucian watched me play up til a part where I had to slay a wyvern...which is closely related to a dragon. So I shut the game down and decided not to play that one in front of him anymore. Anyhow. I decided to buy a few "Learn German Easy" Tapes to play while Lucian sleeps. Possibly it will help his progression in the language as he grows. Who knows? Thanksgiving came just as quick as Halloween did. My mom invited me to her house for dinner, so I went. She met Lucian for the first time and was intrigued (sp) by the story of the velvets and the shop dwellers. She told me that she was glad to see I was making friends. As we sat down to dinner and gave thanks, it struck me how much things have changed for me since I first stepped into the Shop... I have met so many Amazing people... So many friends. I gave thanks for everyone in the shop. They might not consider me their friend, but I sure consider them mine. I also gave thanks for Lucian. My little right hand man...err...Dragon....Either or. We left my moms late, and slept off the pain of overeating. I took a lot of food home with us, so maybe if Lucian grows soon, he will at least get to taste some turkey and stuffing. Mmm so good... just thinking of it makes my mouth water! Anyway... That really sums it up. I deeply apologize for now being around as much before, but my life is so clamored with things to do. I will try to be in more and to write more in my journal! Anyway, Lucian and I are off to study more German!

((If I had waited long enough, then it would be exactly one year since the last time I posted. but I am not going to wait until the 30th to post.))
Captians log: November 15th.
We are back and I must say. The amount of muscle on Lucian is impressive, especially for how tiny he is. Though I do think he is one of the larger animal forms. I don't really have much to say about what we did today. We went to Yume's and watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Trea is a child now and she is awfully cute. Well I think for the rest of today we will be lazy, or maybe stop by the shop. It all depends on if Lucian wants to use his obstacle course or go to the shop.

LP was listening to her cd player, and dressed normally instead of in a bathing suit. She hardly ever wore anything less than pants and a short sleeved shirt and a pair of boots. How she could walk and not get sand in her shoes was beyond alot of people. "I'll tell you willow this place gets any more messed up we'd be better off living in solitude." Willow sniggered as she walked along watching the waves ripple un-narutally beside her. She was humming looking for shells or even a hermit crab which she could bager LP into letting her keep it as a pet. "Why you say that LP?" she asked looking up at her barely noticeing the familer figures they were heading towards. Quote: -Yume smiled as they walked along. She knew what Lucian was thinking, or along the lines of it anyway. His display always was the same. What a ham! She giggled and smirked looking out at the brilliant water. So cool and inviting. Her feet were cooled by the water that lapped at the bare skin. Today she wore a black bikini with thin blue stripes. It matched her now black hair.- -Lucian didn't want to get dirty, but man oh man. From his height of 6ft in the air he could see some very yummy looking guppies in the more shallow waters. He took a sharp left and headed for the water. These would be some of the best fish he ever had.-
-Trea smiled, such pretty shells she was finding. Soon her hands would be to full to keep all of them. She frowned slightly, wishing Yume had brought a bag of some sort, they would have to remember one next time.- Quote: LP looked around the beach at all the things that were there. "I mean, that's what it's getting to be isn't? We've hardly seen anyone at all anymore. We're stuck to walking on the beach and wondering what life'll throw at us." She turned off her cd player which happen to be in a backpack she always carried with her and pulled out a bottle of water sipping on it and tossing it back in. She looked over the sand once more spotting several figures that looked oddly like... "Hey willow isn't that yume, trea and lucian?"
Willow nodded softly and shurged, "Well it's not like we have anything better to do. Besides it's nice n' warm here. Unlike the cave which is freezeing cold even with the fires in the fire places." she paused to pick up something that seemed to scuttle in the sand. "Look at what I found LP!!!" she said poking the shell, "I think something is alive in it!" she had indeed found a whole oyster shell... but that was soon forgotten when LP asked if that was trea, lucian and yume. "hang on I'll have ghostie find out if you'd like. But I think it might be." Quote: -Yume leaned down and offered her hand to Trea.- Here sweetie, let me hold on to some of those, your hands are so tiny that you will soon run out of room. -While they were stopped Lucian opened his jaws, stretched out his neck and folded his wings with a forcefull downward push. Hurling himself into the water, his jaws opened and clamped shut. The tender meat and the warm feel of liquid trailed down his tongue and to the back of his throat. He beat his wings and pushed himself upward pulling out of the water with a shimmering, flopping guppy fish.-
-Trea giggled and walked to Yume, dumping the shells in her hand.- You read my mind mommy. Ya know what I want to..... -Her gaze widened and her head followed Lucian as he dived into the water. Yume seemed to be excited by this as well. Lucian caught a fish! With just his mouth!-
PearlJamais: LP shurged and then looked at what willow found. "Yup it's an oyster... there might be a pearl inside if you open it." She started walking again. "Come on lets see if that really is yume and them." She watched the one in the air dive not sue ti was lucian. Willow had climbed up on LP's shoulder so she wouldn't have to run to keep up. "I think it is yume and them..." she said squiting her eyes. "I dunno anyone else that would be with two velveteens at the same time much less on that's on the ground and up in the sky.... which they maynot be velveteens at all...." she muttered to herself thinking,. VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume picked up Trea and her shells. Looking over at Lucian as he flew closer to them. She smiled and shook her head- My my.. who is the big shot now? VtMiPgYeRr: -Lucian blinked his eyes in a manner suggesting that he was quite happy with himself. He didn't really know what Yume had said at all but she was smiling and not scowling, this was good. However he had a problem now. His fish was inhis mouth and he very much wanted to eat it but to eat it he would need to land, and to land he would have to get dirty. What to do... water dripped from him and he tasted the fish drip in his mouth. This morsel was much more important then being dirty. His catch was his prize for the galiant retrevial of the fish.- PearlJamais: LP snickered as they came closer to the group she could more clearly make out the three figures she whistled to see if she could atleast get Lucian's attation. Willow giggled, "What's he got?" VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume, retaining slight cat like traits from her former form hear the whistle and looked over to see LP and Willow she smiled and waved to them.- Hello! Trea, why don't you go run to Willow, I am sure she will be happy to see you. -She set Trea down, hoping she would miss the mess Lucian was sure to make of his fish.- -Lucian made a slight purring noise. He was to concerned with pampering himself and preparing to eat his meal on the ground to be worried about the shrill sounds from around him. All that matter was him and his fish.- Willow!!! -before Yume could acutally finish her sentence Trea was on the ground and running to Willow. She hadn't seen her in a long time and she really wanted to tell her about her new brother and all the people she was meeting.- PearlJamais: LP laughed and waved to Yume. "Howdy! How're you?" she watched trea and lucian. Lucian was eating.... not like that could've surpized her. "Well i can see he doesn't wanna see his twin." She muttered letting willow down from her shoulder. "TREA!!!!" Willow squealed and Ran up and hugged the mouse she was happy to her as well. "Wanna build a sand castle!?" she asked almost immideatlly. They could build a castle their size, with the help of LP and Yume. VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume frowned and looked down at Lucian.- I'm not quite sure he can even remember his birth. Tenez had him on the other side of the world just about. Lucian doesn't even understand English right now. Of course! -She hugged her back and squealed- I was going to tell Mommy that was what I wanted to do until Lucian got his fishy. PearlJamais: LP wagged a finger, "I dunno, but I do know he's seen Willow once sice they've come alive so I'd hope he remembers her if nothing else." She actully felt kinda sorry for lucian. "But maybe willow can help get thru to him??" "Yay!" Willow clapped after the hugging was over but stopped when Trea mentioned fish and lucain. "OHHHH!!! FISH! I love fish!" She looked at Lucain who was engrossed in the fish. "Lucain!" She cried, "Brother, not going to say hi?" she asked. VtMiPgYeRr: I really hope so. It makes me so sad, as well as Tenez, to see that Willow is humanish and here is Lucian... still all beastly animal. -Lucian looked up when he heard his name. Swallowing the last bit of his fish he walked towards this creature. He sniffed the air, it was partly him, but normally he could not scent himself, only on things that were his. But she wasn't his, was she? He circled around her and tilted his head. Why was she so familiar, but why didn't she speak to his understanding if she was in fact, his.- -Trea stopped and put a finger on her bottom lip.- Uh oh... -she whispered to herslef- I hope he remembers her... or maybe understands her. PearlJamais: LP blinked looking at Lucain, and then to Yume. "He understands german, no?" she asked looking at the pair. She was thinking tryong to remember what she knew if anything of the sort. Willow tilted her head looking at Lucian. "He doesn't know me???" She then looked at Trea and LP and then yume. "Why does it look like he doesn't know me???" VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume nodded- Aye yup. German and thankfull slome body language and his own name. PearlJamais: LP Nodded softly thinking trying to think. "Yeah I thought so..... we'll have to fix that wont we?" She asked watching the dragon, looking at willow. "Well you have to remember you were a feral last time you saw him." VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume frowned and knelt down- Im sure he kinda remembers you Willow. He hasn't been here for a really long time though. It seems he is confused by your new form. -Lucian nuzzled this new she. Since she smelled of him, there must be something he just didn't understand. But knowing her felt right so he deemed that she was worthy of his presence.- -Trea sat on the sand. She felt bad that Lucian didn't know his sister and his sister didn't understand.- PearlJamais: LP sat down on the sand still thinking trying to figure out something. "Willow why dont' you have any ghost friends that could get you language lessons..." she muttered softly. Knowing that the ghosts that knew what she needed may very well not know how to speak english. Willow petted Lucian on the neck her ears slightly flattaned but her smile had returned atleast he knew somewhat of her. "LP have picture of me in her bag?" she said in sort of an off tone, brow sorta lofting when the mention of languages were brought up. VtMiPgYeRr: -Following everyone else Yume sat down.- I have been trying to work with him. So I hope in a month or so he may get the basics down. -Attention! Oh what sweet petting was lavished on him. He closed his eyes and seemed to smile, leaning into the petting. She was quite alright indeed. He should get to know her better and find out why he was so comfortable with her already.- PearlJamais: LP pulled out a book or two and was flipping thru trying to find something, "Wish I knew something that would fix this...." she paused pulling out a tape and looking at it pondering. "I doubt that would help don't even know why I have that. It's got Die Gl�cksb�rchis ... I think it's a care bear thing...." She tossed it aside and shook her head, "I think I might ahve books or something at home that could help you teach him english again." Willow looked at Lucian and then Trea. "so wanna built sand castles?" she asked taking a paw and drawing a castle with a quiston mark with stick people working on it in the sand looking at lucain. VtMiPgYeRr: -Yume Slid next to Lp and watched as she rummaged through.- Anything would help. -Lucian and Trea both nodded. It seemed Lucian got the hint well enough.-

Beginning's of Babysitting Lucian was sitting in front of the TV that resided in Trea's room. Yume had gotten some action games. Making assorted 'pew pew' noises at the game and congratulating himself for finishing areas. He looked over his shoulder every once in a while to see if Trea was still watching and if she thought he was doing good, he would grin at her, of course he was doing good. He was the best! Quote: "Hey Tee want to come play against me? I bet I could beat you in like like two seconds!" His wings flutter against his back as he got excited. Quote: "Sure I suppose so, if it will entertain you. Toss me the controller." She set her book down and laid on her stomach holding out her hand to catch the controller once he through it. She watched from the bed as he instructed her how to play the game. "Ok, I got it." They both selected their characters and started the fight, three rounds, each time he beat her and would flutter up off the ground a few inches in excitement. It seemed he couldn't control his wings and hands at the same time yet.

A Wonderful Day to Fly a Kite Lucian works on:
*Competitive
*Controlling AbilitiesIt was another bright warm day to introduce the changes to summer. Recently Yume had given Trea a beautiful butterfly kite, made to her size, that had ribbons trailing off the end. It was a gift to make sure Trea and Lucian would get out of the house once in a while during the summer, it would do no good for them to both be all cooped up. Lucian had previously expressed no desire to have such an object, for he boasted about how he could fly himself and therefore would not need such a silly contraption to entertain him. However he did still receive a toy all his own, another toy gun, this one with a laser to pinpoint where he would be ‘shooting’ and sound effects as well as areas of the gun that would like up when the ‘trigger’ had been pushed in. Yume felt a bit unsure about it, but it was a gift right from Tenez, besides the kid seemed to like them and she made sure to teach him not to point it at people, EVER. Trea had also been instructed never to let him point it at people, or animals for that matter, when she was watching over him. Trea watched Lucian fly beside her as they walked a few blocks to a large open field. She had been warned about trees and power lines swiftly taking prey of kites. Quote: “You know, if you keep flying everywhere, you aren’t going to know how to walk.” Trea commented with an air of ‘I know more than you do’. “I will so!” He retorted back with every bit of his childish being and that lovely kid attitude of ‘you don’t know anything!’ Once reaching the area Trea stopped and looked at that kite. Yume had told her that she had to toss the kite and start running from it while letting string out, or to have Lucian toss it into the air just before she starts running. She opted for the latter, of course the first few attempts failed but finally they got it. Quote: “YES! Look at it go Lucian!” “Yeah well I can go higher!” Trea beamed proudly as her butterfly soared high in the sky, making her a bit jealous of the ability to fly, and faintly remembering Carl taking her for a flight. With that he gave an almost mighty thrust of his wings and pushed up. He wasn’t used to going real high, so as he got about half his height he wobbled a bit, the force of wind at this level was greater than being lower. Quote: “Lucian! No come back down, you don’t look safe up there!” It was no use though; the kid was up in the air and steadily, but wobbly fighting his way up to the same level of the kite. Lucian finally matched the same height as the kite and looked down at Trea with a thumb’s up and a smug smile to match his slightly cocky attitude of being the best. Trea shook her head and sighed, he was meant to fly so perhaps this would at least help him. Quote: “I bet you can’t go higher if my kite does! Just don’t go any higher than it.” Egging him on probably wasn’t best but she wasn’t used to babysitting. Without further notice though, she let more of the string out, sending the kite higher about three feet. It dipped and soared about on the thermal currents, making it a spectacular sight. Of course Lucian was not about to back down from a challenge. Though he progress was slow as he worked to maintain his balance in the pushy winds he climbed right up to the same height as the kite. He flittered up there for a few moments looking at everything around him and how tiny Trea started to look on the ground. Then another idea struck him. Quote: “I bet I can fly faster than you can run with your kite!” “You’re on!” Without a moments hesitation Trea started to run, kite in tow and a small blue Lucian following behind it, trying to catch up. She looked over her shoulder often to make sure he was still in sight and flying well; also looking ahead to make sure she wasn’t going to be the one running into something. It took him a few moments and his muscle started to ache with the new effort being placed on them to battle the opposing winds but soon he had caught up with the kite. It wasn’t much longer before this simple kite had turned from a bit of plastic in the shape of a butterfly to a monstrous flying insect with fangs full of poison, huge wings to take it faster and higher than any adversary, and the prickly legs ready to tear him apart. It was time for him to take down this menace! He pulled out his high power laser gun and aimed it at the beast, pew pew! With the laser on target the gun had been fired. Both times it missed. The butter fly screeched in anger as something dared to challenge it. At this point the sound of the gun had caused Trea to look up, he was firing at her kite! Well as long as he didn’t ruin it, that was ok she supposed. He let out his own roar of challenge with all his dragoon might. Again Trea watched as he produced a sound wave worthy of any mighty knight ready to defend his territory and king and queen. Of course her idea of what he would be protecting was far different than his thoughts of the destroyed cities and poor civilians that this beast had laid waste to. Again he roared and took another shot at the creature. Still it missed! His aim displeased, well I will just have to take him into physical combat! He gave another great push of his wings; claws outstretched, maw agape, and tackled the ferocious mutated butterfly! Quote: “LUCIAN! NOOO! GET OFF OF IT!” Trea cried out in terror and stopped running as she watched this little menace put his toy on his side and actually ‘pounce’ onto her kite. Terrific he thought, as the creature howled out in pain. His claws tearing into the flesh of its wings and his teeth crushing into its back bone as it turned to flee from him. He held his grip as they tumbled and plummeted to the solid earth beneath them. He continued to bite and hold onto him as they collided with the ground, producing a loud and shocked yelp from the kid. Quote: “OWWWWW!” “Oh no, no Lucian are you ok?” Trea called out as she ran over to him, Yume would have her head for this if he was hurt really bad, even though it was his own fault. He sat up, tears running down his cheek, he quickly wiped them away as she approached, he was to proud to let anyone seem him cry. Trea immediately began to look him over, lifting up his arms and wings. His thick skin and scales seemed to have helped break his fall rather than his bones being harmed. Once she was sure he was unscathed she walked to her kite and picked up the broken and tattered thing. Quote: “Lucian I can’t believe you. Look at what you did, what were you thinking!?” She turned and held out the ruined kite for him to see. “This was brand new and now I will never be able to fly it.” “Sorry.” He said as he stood up and dusted himself off. “Yeah... let’s go back inside before you manage to break anything else.” He nodded and fluttered up to shoulder height with her and followed next to her as they walked back home. So that was one day gone slightly wrong, perhaps tomorrow would be better. He shrugged as he thought to himself, he was to concerned with his sore side than whether or not Trea and Yume would continue to like him.
