I have read quite a few scanlations from Akatsuki-Manga
They have an IRC Server thing, and you just request to be sent a File from others. It's pretty kewl, and they usually have a LOT of people on. eek
I will post a site/server info when I can find it ^_^

The other ones, no. But they're not really story mangas or anything, they're like two-volume comic ones.

I'm reading a manga called BECK, about Japanese indie rock bands. biggrin It's so cool. I love how they do parodies of album covers at the beggining of each chapter. So far I've recognize Number Girl, Quruli, Shiina Ringo, Ramones, Green Day and Radiohead.

You've gotta stick with oldy goodies: FLCL. Between giants monster/robots, guitars as weapons, and sexual innuendo, you've got everything you've evert wanted.
And on the otherside of the Graphic Novel parade we have the fine works of Douglas TenNapel. This guy was on the Earth Worm Jim creation team, and he gives us stuff like GEAR, Creature Tech, and Tommysarous Rex. I recommend them all (if you can find copies).

I loved how FLCL was so stylish, I always wanted to check out the manga.
There's a manga called Banana Fish that was supposed to be popular in Japan back in the day, but so far it's pretty boring. The art is reminiscent of Akira.

And I've always wanted to get into FLCL... anime or manga? Which is better?
