 Hello and welcome to my avi art "anti-shop". Why anti-shop? Because the art is free and i don't charge, and the main goal of a shop is to gain some sort of economical benefit, which i dont get here so there...
Anyways, feel free to browse through the anti-shop, I've worked hard on making the layout and make it as pleasant for you as possible, that's why it took me over a week to finally make this shop.
The navigation bar at the bottom will help you in locating where you want to go, as well as the headline banners for each sections.
So well, I am Nuri, best known here as catti, I'm mexican and I study Graphic Design here in Mexico and I call myself an anti-artist because.. well, besides being an inner joke with my classmates about my work; I think i am a good artist, and an artist before a designer, i just happen to have a weak technique, hence the "anti". Anyway, I've been here (Gaia) for over a year and even though the Art Discussion forum and the Art Gallery discouraged me from drawing art and anime in general, I decided not so long ago to give it a go, and try to do other than conceptual art for gaia. I love doing freebies. I also have an art shop recently opened. I am an art whore, under the cheap art whore category and an active member of my guilds so hopefully I'll like this guild and be an active member. So far so good.

 10/26/06 - sorry for the inactivity.. i've had a lot going on, from endless homework to me being single again (so my bf and i actually broke up in the end, and i've been so sad because of it) and i had a car accident last week, which got me a neck injury i am still not recovered but now that i feel less druged and more healthy started to draw again and narrow both my commish list and the freebie one...
- I added 3 more rules, so be sure to check them up
- Suicidal_Rage, your art is done, go to the pick-up section 10/11/06 - after making things up with bf and we're still together (yay 4laugh ) and not having as much homework as the past days i've reopened the antishop whee I have some commisions to be done so i will work on those and then with you guys... might do some freebies between the comissions so i dont get as much bored and under pressured. 10/08/06 - Im closing the antishop for a while, as well as my shop; for all the ones that have requested freebies and for ang31 that requested in my shop i still havent forgot you girls and i'll get to all of yout drawings as soon as i feel better. I'm just going though some emotional problems and my heart is not strong enough to draw... i hope i recover soon from this and do your requests. I'll work on ang31's commish though, and for those of you who order freebies i'll get to you as soon as i am feeling emotionally better. I'm so sorry and thanks for understanding sweatdrop 10/04/06 - Waiting list is full and now the whole list is full; thanks a lot for your support, it really means a lot to me heart
- NEW SAMPLES!! I finally have 2 new samples for the traditional section so you know how my traditional art is wink also in the pick-up section you can check another of my traditional works.

 RULES - keep it PG13
- Observe and follow the rules of the guild as well as the TOS
- Be polite to both the people that enter to the thread and the owner
- Dont get bitchy because you didn't get art, you'll eventually get it, just be persistant
- No page stretching
- No 14g posts (you know, the long ones)
- DONT ADVERTISE... if you think that advertising is a cool idea, you might suggest me to put an advertising section, but dont advertise
- Respect for the artist, I am an artists, therefore I am sensitive and my ego gets harmed easily
- Bumpers are welcome, just not huge bumps and I prefer people talking than bumping
- Dont steal my arts, layouts, thumbnails and anything in this thread, if you do so I'll hunt your head and get you reported in both the guild and gaia.
- No 1337 and no grammar nazis, let's keep it in the middle; I'm not an english-speaker as a first language so i may have some grammar mistakes and I learnt british english mixed with some american and canadian so expect weird spelling and slangs, and I like chatspeak and use it but i can't read 1337, so all with moderation.
- I will only do 2 waist-up cg avatars per list.... if you want one of those and there are no slots for it available you can always request me later
- I will do the list in no specific order... i'll try to get the easy ones first or the ones that inspire me the most first and then i'll do the other ones.
- Be patient... i have a busy life and i will try to take at least a week on getting my list done but s**t happens and i have a busy life so if i take a lot of time, bear with me, be patient
- HAVE FUN!! FAQ Your colours are so cool and they are not displayed on the gaian colour bar, where did you get those?
Simple, google "pantone to hexagram" or "pantone to web hex" for a full catalogue; I use this one and it's great, the second column is the one you write instead of the default gaia colours.
so what kind of style do you draw?
honestly I dont know, you name it... i usually dont draw anime or cartoons, i am more on the conceptual/surreal side; my bf says it's chibi but i am not so sure
in which styles do you do your avi art?
both traditional and CG... traditional can be in drawing pencils, colour pencils, professional markers, pastels and maybe watercolours or ink. CG is mainly worked on corel painter 8 or sometimes in Photoshop CS2. I might combine both softwares for better results.
how did you do the thumbnails?
i crop the image in photoshop and save it with a different name, then link the big image with my personalized thumb.

- Couples
- Furry/Anthro (i cant do fur, so save me the dissapointment)
- Excessively cluttered avatars (i can do cluttered at moderation if i think it's cute)
- Full bodies (unless you want me to give it a try, but do this at your own risk.. i'm not offering full bodies until i can do anatomy correctly)
- Anything violating TOS How to order first of all you need to ask politely and then you just need to post saying the type of art you want me to make and post the avatar you want me to do; don't post "my current avatar" cause i dont know if you change clothes or when i am going to check... when you are in the list it means i've got your order in process. If you are requesting fanart or OC, i also require a full description of your character and/or a reference image and for fanarts i require a reference image; this is because i might not know the series.
The art delivery might take from few hours to a week... if you are in the list please do check weekly, I have a life, a busy life and college takes pretty much all my time so i can't do them so quickly. If you request for waist-up expect to last longer as i still dont know proportions so well. Traditional art takes less time than CG and gets done quickly; but it will only be delivered on weekdays
I deliver now the avi arts though pm....and also post them on the pick-up section for both this thread or the guild.... so there's no excuse for saying you didnt get your art if i drew you
I reserve the right to change the conditions of getting art when i want to, as well as refusing to avi art somebody. You are warned.

 These are all the arts i've bought/got during my gaian life... there are some missing but they are like 4 or 5... that i no longer hold a copy of. So, they are arranged with colour categories and just like the samples, click on the thumbnail to watch the full view. If you want to know the name of the artist they are mentioned in order of appearance after the thumb block. If i dont know the name of the artist (tends to happen sweatdrop so a tip for artists, sign your works) i put ****. Enjoy my gallery.
