Now that we officially have the mods for this guild, it seems like a reasonable idea to have a way to reliably contact one of them should the need arise.
If you are going to post in this thread, you must have one of the following reasons:
You are a mod. You wish for a post to be deleted (if its not yours, justify why) You wish for a thread to be deleted/locked (if not yours, justify why) You wish for a thread to be unlocked (need to justify no matter what) You want us to use some other modly power that we have. You are complaining about my abuse of modship (unless you are Jane or Rob, in which case, Im going to delete it xp ) More to be listed as I work out what people need from the mods Any unnecessary posts will be deleted, so that the mods can see what has and has not been resolved easier (subject to change)

Yeh, the only reason I thought of it was because EmWah needed me to unlock her news thread earlier tonight, and this seems a better idea than doing it in the general thread.

Now I'm not mod, I get to do some complaining mrgreen
The forum is very cluttered and I'm thinking that alot of the threads are fairly pointless/unnecessary. A few at the bottom haven't been posted in for like two weeks or something so I guess they could go... unless people protested.
Also, there are alot of stickies. You could at least un-stickify the ones about mod nomination and voting and such, as they are no longer relevant.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Actually, I want to do something about them too, but Im going to wait to make sure I can get rid of some of those stickies (and I wish I could unsticky the music one, how that is a sticky is just . . . odd).
And I'll clean up some of the older threads down the bottom of the guild, no worries there.
EDIT: Actually, no, I wont bother, they seem to disappear once they hit page two anyways.

It could do with some cleaning up, but overall its not that bad, the dead threads arent getting in the way, and it seems that DNA got rid of the excess stickies, so all is well.

I am new and reading all the stickeys as any new person should
and I want to know why Don't post just for the sake of posting (i.e. Don't SPAM.) and Old Thread get their own stickey instead of being under Information/Rules/News/Issues of Interest *kick me for being annoying if you want*

Sorry, I misunderstood that. sweatdrop Well, I guess they were posts from separate mods, and no one considered putting them in Em's thread. *shrug*

I think it's a sticky because this rule needs to be specially emphasised. I feel that sometimes people feel it absolutely necessary to post and they just post some kind of random thing that serves no purpose other then to satisfy their desire to post 3nodding
It is acceptible to post that kind of thing in places such as the Hangout thread since it is just a place to hangout and do whatever. Posting that kind of thing in threads with actual topics isn't that good, doesn't help the discussion.
Basically just post if you have something to say, not because you feel like posting. That's just my thoughts anyway... mrgreen ;;
Oh and I think that the old thread link should be put in that issues of interest section, it doesn't really need it's own thread
